Tactics is a must in my opinion and allows you to diversify your farming a lot.Also in farming builds with targeted heals increasing the chances of the heals and targeted buffs to hit is essential.Have a look at your heal and your FS and transference to hit.Plus the adjusted targeting set is great for tactics.

I didnt say you cant farm with that build but is slower compared to other builds for the same cash thats what i am saying (assuming people of equal skill play both builds)

Just to prove you wrong once more.The builds you fought aint got +acc.Both blasters are regen recovey hp and recharge focused so they shred u to pieces with aim and bu.

My defender pretty much ignores anything you lay down except tar patch becase a) i got tactics b) i debuff your defense and resistance.

The problem is Dark/energy sucks for pvp.Plain and simple as that.Oh and obviously the two Greek guys you love so much obviously knew what they were talking about in first place.

Aight.Add a slot in transference with a recharge IO.Wouldnt take siphon power.Wouldnt take swift.3 recharge IO in siphon speed.Superspeed slotted with 1 run/end IO although in my current build i got no SS.Slot health with mircales for +recovery (mind you not the unique) and some extra hp or go for 5 doctored wounds for the recharge bonus.

Wouldnt take cinders.Maximise stamina slotting with hp bonuses through combining 3 sets or slot a full efficacy adapter set there for the +recharge win.Hotfeet combine Dam/end from the 3 PBAoE sets (considering acc is not necessary) and sciroccos bonuses are useless for the controller.Speed boost can be slotted with a full efficacy adapter set or again with combination of end mod sets for +hp

Tough 5 slots 3 titanium coating 1 aegis res/end 1kb protection IO

Weave is useless so wouldnt take it.Useless end drain.

Fire imps 5 slots 3 acc/dmg HO's and the 2 uniques for +res etc

Transference i like the slotting.

IW 6 slots 3 serendipity 2 gift of the ancients 1 recharge IO

Psionic Tornado keep same.

and added to that Maneuvers slotted for +hp,Tactics with 5 slots full adjusted targetting set.Char 3 slots GW set

Thats about it i think on top of my head.Costs FAR less and works FAR better.67% smashing lethal res and really good recharge plus perma stacked 3x siphon speed cant go wrong with that.

And not a single purple.

Sorry but this arguement i heard it so many times so far is getting ridicilous.This is not the same as telling people something based on opinion.This is simply on facts.

Fact 1: If the no insps way was the right way and balanced one obviously the developers would have locked insps out of the equation in PvP.

Inspirations are part of tactical choice in PvP zones and arena matches.

Fact 2: People who moan about insps (and i not refer to you in this case since u seem to be on the 50/50 side regarding insps but i speak in general)from my experience cant kill anything without it standing still or without being totally vulnurable to something their toons believe to have.

Making an informed decision that inspirations are illegal or breaking PvP is not that informed.

Personally i fill my trays before any zonal or arena PvP and anyone who moans tough luck.

Dont get this personally i am just a bit fed up with the some lately constant moaning about insps.

As far as the test server goes i ll be there with my defender.

This build not only cost too much for what it offers but underperforms as well compared to what you can make for the same money.Wouldnt recommend spending the money for this build.

Union or Test arena is good for me for this.

Could give a shot at Spines/fire scrapper if you are looking for something scrapperish although spines/regen can work as well.

A tank could also be great something like an ice/energy or maybe Willpower/energy.

Villains side a stalker i think could be ideal to start with due to the ability to sit and oserve and some good survivability.

I was gonna say an SS/fire brute or energy/fire brute and fire/energy fire/SS tank but the recent changes to KB might be a problem that needs a lot of mills to solve still could work out nicely considering especially SS for being versatile for PvE and PvP.

No it wont.Reason is simple.Basic fundamentals of any PvP game are rooting times,casting times and damage types based on in game resistances.

So lets see.DB has some really long cast time animations that root you for long time opening you up for attacks while casting.Also the damage is smashing lethal which is the most resisted damage in PvP thus not allowing you to deliver good enough DPS (damage per second) to score a kill.

Just so you know about damage best types are

Psionic

Ice/Fire

I was gonna put dark there cause its not much resisted but unfortunately the devs gimped dark sets by giving them exclusive Damage over Time damage which is bad for PvP as standalone damage since its easy to heal and manageable.

Not really i havent.I am not interested in story in the game so the arcs leave me kinda uninterested.I am more interested in combat and game mechanics and so far since i3 nothing much has changed in that direction.Even on invincible the game is much too easy. The fact that i am not story driven kinda leads to the fact that after some point PvE gets way too repetitive.However i have to say that CoH moments where i got captivated story wise was LGTF, and new zone TF which get 10/10 for me and is content i like doing no matter how many times.Shows also that the latest issues are in a good track.

To be honest i not have problem with you Cognito but i do have problem with some of the people that posted over here condemning powerlevel while on the same time i can provide screenshots and chat logs of them asking join farm teams (Hello Hardrider ).

We are interested exclusively in PvP and game mechanics as well as IOing toons.We powerlevel cause we can do it and we have fun in the process because obviously we are powergamers and we have done the content already considering the amount of level 50's we got each and the amount of accounts we own which is no less than two each in our SG and some got even 3 accounts.

Yeah we did.After the amount of level 50's we got and times we been through the content (mind you globey exceeds 30 level 50's atm) PvE content isnt really exciting and only reason we keep on is PvP.
