Ok, hear me out, lets just give up on PvP as a whole. If the entire PvP community just rolled the best PvE toons they had we could just have PvE competitions. We could do team Speed-TFs competitions, which team can run said TF/SF faster. We could do 8v8 Speed Master TF/SF matches, which team can go through the fastest without deaths.
I believe this would be a great idea, as well as increase the PvE community(which lets face it, player-vs-enviroment is lacking players). We could have HUGE ladders/leagues, screenshot/video proof our SF/TF/Raids. Points would be as followed...
- Fastest Time: 10 points
- Second Fastest Time: 5 points
- Slowest Time: -10 points
Each week we would compile the screen shots and videos, a set of judges would go through for the fastest time and award the points for each TF/SF/Raid. The rules would be very simple...
- Each team must run every SF/TF/Raid possible (competitions would be seperated into blueside/redside, winners would be awarded on each side)
- Globals can be signed up for either hero side or villain side, you may not run both, your team would have to designate which side they are competing in.
- Players cannot use inspirations, this way a team cannot sign up and use trays full of t3s to stay alive during runs.
- Temporary powers, aside from Jetpacks/Jump packs may not be used.
- Teams will be disqualified for:- Bringing less members than needed for the TF
- PvE Ringers
- Bringing more members than the judges designate appropriate for the TF
- Using temporary powers or inspirations
- Spamming your battle cry during cut scenes.
- Sending tells to another team during their speed runs
- Insulting or Trolling other teams out of PvE
With these rules, and a few others to be decided on later, I believe we can make this a legitimate PvE competition. In my personal opinion I think this would be even more fun than zone/arena PvP, and it would help revitalize the PvE community. If you believe this would be a good idea please voice your opinions in this thread, no trolling or flaming please. I am just trying to help keep the game alive, and to be honest pvp is completely boring and has far too many people.
If anyone wants to get this going PM me, and I'll get a thread started and sign up teams there for the competition. I'll also get in touch with NCsoft to see about some sponsoring for the competitions.
Teams that are banned from participation- "Virtuous Vanguard" Reasoning: This competition is for humans only, their alien TF/SF running capabilities is far superior in comparison to the human teams that will be signing up.

1.Why do people have to actually transfer servers in order to PVP with others? Why can we not reinvent PVP also to a degree is it not possible in the Arena to make an All Server setting? Just curious? I mean the matkets are merged across all servers are they not? Why can we not "Zone into" the same Map and have a 4 man team from Freedom matched against a 4 man team from Pinnacle without them haveing to leave their home server? Is it that difficult? or is their not enough Dev interest in the subject.
Not trying to be slamming but you guys watch what we go through on the forums. Three maybe all 4 top teams have or are going to withdraw from our Pinn PVP ladder now because of people of questionable character. If we could set up matches cross server that would be ideal honestly we could do an all server league show up and fight and then not have to deal with those people on a weekly daily basis. As well without the hassle of transferring to TEST (<---lol IO DUPING) where anyone with a PSy can be king. it's so cookie cutter on test honestly Im surpised it lasted as long as it did. Most of the real PvPer's wont have anything to do with it. Diversity in PVP is king and we run teams in our league for the fun of it. And with people from other servers coming in trying to force open the door they don't understand what the league is about F U N <---- what is this word you say? And now its us against them we are fighting to show who can puff out their chest farther instead of enjoying what we started and the F U N is gone now so instead of breaking the sanctity of what we created we are withdrawing, that's another issue.
But again my point is most of this drama would be washed if we could fight cross server. They could stay there we could stay here and run our league in peace and as well run a "Cross-server" "all-Server" league and they could stay there.
I'm just thinking that there are a few other aspects of this game that bridge the server gap so please give it some thought. MAybe a PM response if possible as my curiosity is now peaked. A post would be better but I'll take what I can get
Also, Aura, I believe Vex said the same thing that Xanatos had mentioned about the cross server yet only wanting to pvp with people on pinn. It was a few posts up, understandable that you'd miss it.

I hear you Jade. I am into PVP for the fun. All this flaming and bs in the global channels and the forums? Its for the birds and is just the sort of thing that made me shy away from PVP orignally. I am in this for the fun. It seemed having more people to fight could be fun. But all this drama? It needs to just stop.
I would like to see the league continue. It has been fun. But either way I plan to continue PVP. I look forward to whatever fun may be in store in that regard. Ladder, zone, ffa's. Its all good if we leave the drama at the door. -

For you to drop out based solely on the fact that we have what you call an "elitist mentality" seems like an over-reaction to me. Personally I haven't been on pinn, nor near this forum in over a year and yet I will not be allowed to play with my team because of some sort of forum drama that happened, that seems like descrimination to me, seeing as I haven't done anything to be banned yet I will not be allowed to play with the team I chose.
It's honestly just a game, and elitist mentality or not, our team joining the league would add another team to play against, which at the moment it seems like you need more of, whether or not we will win is a whole other story.
If you're going to sit here and ban every player that has ever griefed/trolled/trash talked/had an elitist mentality/or said anything remotely "*******" then guranteed a lot of these teams would be without players.
