Wow. This thread got completely jacked...
Anyhow, it's nice to see my threat got NC Soft finally moving.
What? You don't know it wasn't because of my threat!
Anyhow, thankfully, it appears that they're finally dealing with refunds in the right way. Good on them. Now I can go back to just being disappointed that a game I love is shutting down and hope that someone else is able to convince NC Soft to sell the game. -
Quote:So you think they suddenly woke up and decided to cancel the game? Sorry, but that's not how it happens. Companies keep on with business as usual right up to the point that they don't, at which point they ask people to pack their bags and they're done. When companies lay off staff, they don't slowly ramp down their workload and phase them out - they call them into an office, thank them for their time, and escort them from the building. That's how layoffs happen. And the people high up the food chain discuss it beforehand. That's a possibility, but reconciling it with the fact that they funded ongoing game development right up to the point where they pulled the plug involves either an unhealthy obsession with secrecy or staggering amounts of poor coordination.
This was a sudden decision in the eyes of the fans and in the eyes of the employees at Paragon Studios. This was not a sudden decisions by the decision makers at NC Soft.
More to the point, even if they made the decision the same day they announced it - even if that unlikely scenario is true - they STILL would have had enough time to contemplate "we aren't giving customers what they paid for - we need to offer refunds". Sorry, but that's not a complex thought. That's not an arcane calculation that only a genius comes up with. That probably would have been first on the minds of at least one of the people present when the decision was made. And thus they should have had an answer ready for the customers affected.
They didn't.
Two weeks later they still don't.
I'm not waiting any more. (Among the other things I'm doing to oppose the closing of the game) I'm taking a stand and demanding my money back, one final time from NC Soft (here and via private communication) and, if this final time doesn't work, directly from my credit card company. And I encourage other gamers to do the same thing. -
Quote:Do you know everything I'm doing to fight against the closing of the game? No. You don't. I, however, do know what you're doing in response to the actions of some people who are fighting the closing of the game - you're being a dick. So, pure and simple, if you don't like my "slacktivism" - if you don't approve of this one course of action that I'm taking to stand against NC Soft's treatment of their customers, then feel free to move on and read other threads. Feel free to stuff your comments and insults. You don't know anything of what I'm doing so feel free to take your commentary on my activities elsewhere.Because it is. And it's not passionate - it's destructive, and counter-productive.
If people want COH not to die, they need to FIGHT. Yelling at NCsoft on a forum they do not read is slacktivism at its finest. It makes them feel like they DID SOMETHING, they cussed NCsoft out, they vented. But really, they did nothing but fill this forum with more negativity, more defeatism, and makes it less likely that those people - and people who read their posts - will actually do something productive.
You want to talk about "destructive, and counter-productive" - I do believe _YOU_ are being destructive and counter-productive. You don't see me coming on the boards and insulting the actions of other gamers but I see you doing exactly that.
Hypocrite.
How long does it take to figure "we aren't offering the service people paid for so we need to refund them the money for the time we aren't giving them"? I would imagine it takes less time than it took me to write that question. So, yes, I have been patient. They were able to take enough time to decide to cancel the game therefor they had enough time to contemplate how to deal with customers who weren't going to get what they paid for. -
Quote:Don't like the posts, don't read them. The subject made it clear what it was before you got there so reading it was your choice.Seriously folks, you are starting to sound like little kids having a tantrum. Apparently that 2-week tickover is all people have in them.
NCsoft doesn't read these forums.
Direct your outrage in productive directions.
See Titan's "Call to Action" posts for those directions.
If you're going to post "I'M PISSED AND WON'T WAIT ANY LONGER!" posts, at least post them in one of the other countless threads that popped up in the last couple days to keep all the whining in one place.
And I have directed my message at NC Soft, both privately and now publicly. Don't like how I'm doing it? Tough. -
Dear NC Soft, I've been patient. I was disappointed that you cancelled a (profitable) game that I (and many, many others) enjoy playing but what really disappointed me was how very poorly you handled the situation. The announcement contained no information for VIP players, many of whom had invested in your game for a long term. I, for example, had paid a year subscription to the game that was going to run through to June of 2013. There was no indication that refunds would be forthcoming for services that were not going to be provided. But, out of the goodness of our hearts, we waited patiently. We were told something was being worked on so we waited. But, really, why was something being worked on _AFTER_ the announcement was made? That sort of detailed should have been worked on _BEFORE_ the announcement. But, it wasn't. So we waited.
And waited.
And waited.
It is now over two weeks after the announcement and I am becoming less and less inclined to wait. I will be patient for a few more days but, if an announcement is not made very soon (as in "within the first half of this coming week"), I will be contacting my credit card company and disputing the credit card charge for your failure to deliver what was paid for. I will demand a charge back and you can deal with my credit card company.
And I suspect many other gamers will start doing the same thing.
Oh, and lest it not be clear, do not offer me game time in one of your other games or some such thing. It's remarkably simple - I want a refund. Period. No discussion. I don't know what is taking so long to figure out - you accepted money for a service you're choosing to not provide. Give me my money back, I'll be disappointed the game got cancelled, and it'll be done. Fail to do that and you can deal with my credit card company.
My patience is done. Get a move on. -
Without a doubt, my crowning moment in the game was waaaaay back in I2-ish era, I was taking out Quarry's solo on Monster Island on my kin/psy defender. This was obviously back before Giant Monsters got uber-buffed to their current state but it was still a lot of fun being a defender and taking out a Giant Monster solo. I believe (though could be mistaken) that I'm the only person to solo a giant monster with a defender. Like I said, however, I could be mistaken on that.
That was a long time ago... Gawd, I love this game...
(I just re-read a thread on the boards from just before I3 went live where I discussed this with some other kin defs from that time. Good memories! -
Quote:Leandro, can I suggest an image with heroes gathered in a pattern spelling "AP33".After I posted that last video with the 3000 heroes, two things became apparent to me. One, placing characters in a straight line looks unnatural and cruddy. Two, it's freaking hard and I never want to do it again.
Thus, I made tools to make it easier and better looking.
I think it's appropriate and remembered a monumentally memorable moment in the game's history. -
Quote:There have been many cool things that I've encountered in this game since I started playing many, many, many years ago. That video is now at the top of the list. Awesome! And here's a very draft video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l0qTId6TR8
Not final in any way, I just wanted to see if it'd render. It made my computer cry the whole time.
Keep it up! -
Quote:Want.
For.
Mac.
Kudos guys for making this (and everything else you've been doing for the game) but oh my gawd, I want this app badly... I hate the idea of my characters fading into the ether... -
Quote:Zwill (assuming you read this), could you please pass along, from a customer that paid for a full year of service, my dissatisfaction. Not just that this is happening at all, which I'm upset about (as evidenced by the fact that I like the game enough that I was willing to subscribe for a year) but, specifically, at how poorly this has been handled. I understand that sometimes businesses make decisions that customers aren't happy with but NC Soft should have had answers for questions like this ready when they announced the decision. As a heads up; We still do not have final details surrounding VIP status or the state of player services moving forward. As soon as NCsoft provides an update myself or another of the remaining team will update and hopefully answer any questions you may have.
Quite honestly, I'm on the verge of contacting my credit card company and having them reverse the charge for NC's failure to deliver the product for which I paid... I (and the thousands of other VIP players) have been patient but it's now getting out of hand. The answers should have been forthcoming immediately. It's now a week later...
Anyhow, I know you have more important things on your plate but if you could pass that along to NC Soft, I'd appreciate it. -
Quote:Not a suggestion but I believe I was the first and only defender (kin/psy) to solo a giant monster from Monster Island (obviously before they got uber-buffed). That was a geeky but proud moment.Just curious, but what do people think they suggested that actually made it into the game?
And now that character's days are numbered... -
Quote:You would think that if it was just a font issue, they could (at least temporarily) fix it in non time - switch the font to Arial which EVERYONE has. That or tell us what the font is and I'll go download it and install it again. That's not really new. Snow Leopard, for some reason, doesn't seem to always have the problem. One of the things that people wondered about back on Beta was if Snow Leopard -> Lion dropped whatever font the Market happened to use. I'm not sure if it always works for SL users (or Leopard).
I suspect the problem is something a little deeper than that.
Or it's really that simple and taking a lot longer to fix than it should... -
Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere - I've searched but failed to find anything concrete other than, yes, it is a problem.
Has anyone figured out a fix that would allow someone suffering the font issue in the Paragon Market to actually see what the text is supposed to be? Is there any timeframe for it being fixed?
Kinda sucks to _want_ to be able to spend my points but not actually be able to... -
[ QUOTE ]
1) Do you suffer for defense? It seems like soloing would be very hard when the only defensive power you really have is Hover and Maneuvers. Personally I only planned on taking hover for defense, am i gonna get spanked?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, there are a couple elements that you use to your advantage. 1) Range: /psi has some of the longest range attacks. Use that - take opponents out before they even get close to you. 2) Secondary effects: /psi has some very useful secondary effects - namely sleep and knockback for Will Dom and TKBlast. They can be potent defensive tools for a solo defender. 3) Vertical Combat Movement: With hover, you can get above most melee attacks which, traditionally, are the most damaging attacks. Being able to remove them from your opponent's attack repitoire cannot be under-estimated. All that said, I've always said my build really shines in a team setting, but it does have defensive tools for the solo player. There are more defensive kin builds (kin/elec) but kin/psi can stay safe when it needs to.
[ QUOTE ]
2) Is it a mistake not to take Maneuvers and Tactics?
[/ QUOTE ]
I think it's a huge mistake. I know some people that run without them but I think both powers are incredibly valuable. Remember, I play Syphon in a team environment most of the time so the bonuses those powers provide me, and my entire team, are invaluable. But, because to-hit rolls are so integral to kin defs, I think Tactics is a natural fit. You can substitute it for ACC enhs in your powers, but doing so diminishes the effectiveness of those powers and can result in a lot of slots being devoted to ACCs...
[ QUOTE ]
3) Is 4 slots for Fulcrum Shift really enough?
[/ QUOTE ]
With Hasten perma'd, 4 is plenty.
[ QUOTE ]
4) Im taking alot of secondary powers and 6 slotting them. Specifically I want to six slot TKBlast, Will Domination, Psychic Scream, Psionic Tornado, and Psychic Wail. And I am taking Psionic Lance and not slotting it. Just for pulling. I noticed you taking less than this, and not 6 slotting them.. can you tell me if im putting in unnecessary slots?
[/ QUOTE ]
You're a kinetics defender - you're a walking damage cap. Not sixxing Lance is a mistake - it's a power that you use at extreme range (most of the time - I've done a lot of point blank sniping - a sleeping foe can't interrupt you...) so you won't have the benefit of Siphon Power and Fulcrum Shift. Thus, damage enhs are needed. For most of the other attacks, you'll be buffing yourself with SP and FS so you can make up for a lot of damage enhs with those two powers. Extensively sixxing your secondaries is not necessary, imho.
[ QUOTE ]
5) Are the 4 end regens in Speed Boost necessary? At higher levels it seems most everyone would have Stamina and such and they are more interested in the faster recharge than the end recovery. In my latest build (posted below) I have it 3 slotted.. but I wont be putting in those slots till the 40s.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is a hotly debated subject. I'm not going to get into the discussion again - I'll just state, firmly, that extra endurance recovery is never turned down at any level of the game by intelligent players. I regularly play with defenders and blasters that were end heavy and/or dropping nukes every third fight. Extra endurance recovery was ALWAYS helpful. ALWAYS. Anyone who tries to tell you that the extra end recovery isn't as needed once characters get Stamina have not played the game at full speed...
[ QUOTE ]
6) I was thinking about 6 slotting Siphon power too.. 2 acc and 4 recharge. mistake?
[/ QUOTE ]
I think so. If you have tactics, the ACCs are excessive. 4 recharge is good, however.
here is my current build to level 41
Slot[03] Level 2 : Siphon Power /Empty,Empty,Empty
Slot[04] Level 4 : Psionic Lance /Empty

Six this.
[ QUOTE ]
Slot[14] Level 24 : Hasten
[/ QUOTE ]
I recommend getting this earlier, if at all possible. Faster recharge makes kin/psi incredibly effective and waiting until 24 to get the effects of Hasten (and even later to get it perma) will make you feel like you're moving in slow motion.
[ QUOTE ]
Slot[23] Level 47 : Phase Shift /Empty
[/ QUOTE ]
I love phase shift, but how is it anything more than a situationally useful power for you? Seriously, I think it's an awesome power but it has zero synergy for kinetics (imho). I wouldn't bother with it nor the entire concealment pool.
[ QUOTE ]
Slot[24] Level 49 : Increase Density /Empty
[/ QUOTE ]
WAY! TOO! LATE! This is one of the best status cracking powers in the game and will keep your allies free of most mez effects and in trim fighting form. Get this MUCH earlier. -
[ QUOTE ]
I've thought about PBU's secondary effects and for my playstyle they just don't seem as more of a benefit than the add'l control.
[/ QUOTE ]
Hey, to each their own. For me and the playstyle I go with, Power Mastery was the no-brainer choice. I wanted to want Dark because I like it so much but it just didn't fit my play style but, oh, it's so sweet. And I _REALLY_ wanted Psychic Mastery because it makes so much sense, conceptually for my character, but the powers in the set just weren't what I need. No doubt, they are nice, but they totally don't fit my playstyle. An AOE sleep is useless for 99.9% of the play I do - too many AOEs attacks and thus any sleep effect is wasted. Solo, it would be fantastic, but I rarely play Syphon solo... -
[ QUOTE ]
I'm not going to tell you it's useless, but I've never really seen the point about taking PBU for Kinetics.
[/ QUOTE ]
It buffs the secondary effects of powers as well.
Think about that.
Yeah. The power rules. -
[ QUOTE ]
that's a tough one. I'm looking hard at Power Buildup as an EP as well. But just out of curiousity, with 6 damage SO's in an attack power, on top of FS and SP, will I already be reaching the defender damage cap? If not then PBU sounds good. I'm not a numbers expert so no idea.
[/ QUOTE ]
Base = 100%
6 Damage SOs = +180%-ish
Thus, you are at 280%-ish of your potential - you can only add another 120% before you hit the cap.
Thus, Fulcrum Shift can EASILY get you to the damage cap, especially with the improved effectiveness of the power (I don't recall the exact numbers, but about 25% better than they were previously). Against one target, with Siphon Power and Fulcrum Shift, you could make up that 120% difference. Against large groups, easy. -
[ QUOTE ]
Are all Kin/Psy's going w. Psychic for epic power pools? [/quote
God no! Power Mastery for teh win!! A monstrously powerful attack with a boss magnitude disorient that, if properly slotted (a couple recharge and a disorient duration) can perma disorient a boss (and you can get the damage boos from your friendly neighbourhood FS) plus Power Build Up which is just an absolutely awesome power for kin/psi because of all the secondary effects that it enhances. Psi Mastery might be nice, but Power Mastery rules!
Psi Mastery might have that mass sleep but, if you play in teams most of the time (as I do), it's an effect that is only helpful for the opening salvo and I've never really found that opening salvo to be a problem - swoop in, FS, and nuke. Never had a problem with it.
I'll be posting my revised build at some point soon. It won't have powers-by-level because, again, it's a respec build. I don't even know which order I took the powers, to be honest. -
[ QUOTE ]
What do you suggest for lower level say though 20 given the I3 update?
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't think I3 changed any of my previous suggestions. Kinetics has been made better because of I3 (Siphon Power and Fulcrum Shift are better as is the heal of Transfusion). I think all the stratetiges and thoughts that I suggested still apply. -
[ QUOTE ]
One concern I have in choosing the leadership pool vs. concealment, and having Tactics instead of Stealth... will my strategy have to change? In switching to a 3d mindset, won't I have to be low enough for SC to hit the mobs, and thus be vulnerable to attack sooner? I'm not opposed to this, I just need to see what a good strategy would be.
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't have stealth and I regularly swoop in on groups and hit them with my alpha strike with minimal problems. My teammates know that when I move, they need to move - that comes with familiarity over time but, with a few exceptions, they get it. That or I follow the scrapper or tanker into the fray and let them take the enemy alpha strike while I hit them with my own - depends on who's on the team at the time. Anyhow, all that is to say that you can easily and swiftly hover into a group and hit them before they've had a chance to react. Hover may be slow, but properly slotted, it isn't that slow - you will be on top of a group before they realize you're coming.
[ QUOTE ]
I've yet to visit The Shard. There are certain maps now where I find myself frustrated by the lack of vertical movement tho', so I think Flight may become a necessity. Is Flight for the Shard used strictly for navigation? Or combat as well?
[/ QUOTE ]
You can use it for both. For the most part, it's navigation. Imagine a map the size of Independence Port but with 90% of the ground gone and exits at the extreme ends of the map. That is the Shard. You _can_ get from one side to the other without any movement power, if you know the right route but it'll take a while and one wrong step can send you back to the beginning... Also, deeper in the Shard, there are elementals that you may want to fight that are flying out in the void. -
I'll let Quason comment on the /elec choices - he knows that set better than I.
[ QUOTE ]
Slot[13] Level 22 : Speed Boost /Empty
[/ QUOTE ]
Are you intending on making a solo character? If yes, then this is probably fine. If not, take Speed Boost AS SOON as it becomes available. Hell, even if you're planning on making a solo character, I would still suggest taking it earlier, but that's because the power is that damn good.
The rest is more or less ok. I would make one suggestion though - switch flight and leadership. Since you're not taking flight right away, I assume it is not viewed as an integral part of your character. For me, flight was always a conceptual aspect of Syphon - I took Hover as soon as I could and took fly right away. I almost never touch the ground - basically, only after I nuke (and drop toggles). Syphon is in the air all the time - it's how I envisioned him. I took Superspeed to move around faster but will be respeccing it out as soon as I3 hits. Anyhow, given that you did not seem to have the same conceptual drive for taking it, I would suggest holding off on taking it until later. By level 28, you will be viewing the game mostly in a 2d manner so it won't be a problem keeping it that way. Later in the game, however, when the Shard makes an appearance, you will want Flight to get around in there. Thus, I strongly suggest taking it. Also, the leadership powers are incredibly valuable (*) so I suggest taking them earlier.
* If you're taking the leadership powers, it suggests to me that you are inclined towards teaming. Which means my above point about taking Speed Boost immediately is much more relevant. If, however, you intend on soloing, don't bother with leadership. Take something like Tough and Weave and slot your to-hit powers with ACC enhs. Or take the concealment pool. Or something else.
Just some overall thoughts. It's hard to provide advice since I'm not positive how you want to play the character, for the most part - solo or teamed. That decision really impacts a lot of design choices. -
[ QUOTE ]
Syphon Strike: Bombast and Fallout Phil are me. :-)
[/ QUOTE ]
Cool!
[ QUOTE ]
Last night was so much fun!
[/ QUOTE ]
Sure was. I really wish that we could do meaningful cross server play rather than the meaningless play on test...
[ QUOTE ]
3 lvl 50 Kinetics and a lvl 49 (SK'd) Rad/Rad killed a lvl 50 monster last night on test. It wasn't even HARD. Took about seven minutes (which is even slightly faster than some scrappers can do it without the HP boost). With all the Fulcrum Shifting going around, the monster was hitting me for about 40 points of damage per foot stomp. THAT's insane. :-D
[/ QUOTE ]
I've long said that kinetics + raiation = UBER!! Well, I add an extra word in there but the boards will filter it out...We buff teammates up and rad pushes foes down. Equals insane numbers.
As for the debuffing, just as myself, I'm generally able to drop a monster's attacks down to around 10%-ish (dropping it from about 700 down to about 70 per hit) if I get things stacking well. And 70 points per hit is nothing... There are minions in the game that hit harder than that... Once the four of us jumped that monster, it was fantastic.
The great thing for me - since you guys were on the ground, the monster switch to its foot stomp and thus, since I was hovering, I wasn't touched at all.
Muahahahahaha!!
[ QUOTE ]
Quason's build made me jealous to see it in action. I'll be more effective with Bombast after I respec him and start playing regularly again. But Syphon's description was correct... ferret on speed is about what he's supposed to be. :-)
[/ QUOTE ]
Seriously, it was impressive to watch. I would never recommend /energy for a kinetic but you certainly make it a very workable build. As with a lot of the powers in the game, making it work requires a lot of skill and you've clearly developed that skill. It does require a lot of zipping around but the foes were on their butts so often and barely able to get their beaerings... If someone is looking for a hectic, fast paced kinetics defender and doesn't mind zipping around in combat, I would now HIGHLY recommend /energy as their secondary. If they can develop the skill, it looks like it would be a ton of fun to play.
(I probably should have consolidated these replied into one message...) -
[ QUOTE ]
Well, you were thinking of ditching CJ/SJ/Acro, right Quason?
So put back IR and Hover, there's your extra power slot for Siphon Power.
[/ QUOTE ]
Did Quason have Hover before? I know he was asking whether I was using hover as I flew around in fights (as I said, I was - four slots for flight speed, one for end reduc (had to steal a slot for my epics)) so I got the impression he hadn't had it for his build before. If so, Quason might experience the same learning curve issues you're dealing with - shifting your playstyle from a 2d environment to a 3d one probably has the same learning curve issues as going from Stamina to no Stamina - sure, it can be done, but it's a big shift...
Still, everyone should know by now how much I love hover...
[ QUOTE ]
Technically, I tried three different builds, Syphon. One had power / no hover/CJ/SJ/Acro, one had power / hover, one had dark.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh yeah, that's right. Forgot about the two non-dark versions. Man, you have a hard choice to make. I love Power Mastery and it is simply awesome, but you made superb use of /dark... Good luck making that choice... Really...
[ QUOTE ]
I'm definitely thrown off by hover for regular fighting, as I'm very, very used to superspeed.
[/ QUOTE ]
If you give it time, you will get used to it. The question is, is the hassle of the learning process worth the payoff in the end. For me, the learning process to make a no Stamina build isn't worth it. Might be the same for hover for you - if superspeed works... But, being able to get above the heavy hitting melee attacks is really sweet...
[ QUOTE ]
I'm convinced that if you want to smack around bosses better, power mastery is the way to go.
[/ QUOTE ]
Interestingly, for me, Total Focus isn't so much about the damage (though it is freakin' sweet) - it's the disorient. I had mine slotted with two recharge (I am the king of recharge reductions!!) and one disorient duration which allowed me to pretty much chain mez bosses. Once I got Siphon Power and FS firing, I was able to buff its damage, but I wanted it activating often and lasting a while. Made it safe. I was able to take on two death mages at once because I'd swoop in and pound one in the skull and immediately switch to the other and transference him. Assuming both attacks hit, I was golden from that point forward. I'd keep the second boss on his butt with TKBlast and drained of end with the trans powers (not locked at zero like Quason could, but certainly drained of enough end that he couldn't use any big attacks...) and as soon as TF recharged, I'd switch back to the first mage and thump him in the skull again. Once the second mage was arrested, I'd switch back to the first and finish him off.
For me, Total Focus rules because of it's disorient. The damage is just nice icing on the cake.
[ QUOTE ]
Observing Syphon's use of hover to tank, plus FS/SP was definitely quite impressive. I usually try to stay out of melee range of bosses on my live build, and have not bothered to try to tank AVs or giant monsters. For that, people I play with just tend to get a tanker.
[/ QUOTE ]
We aren't tankers (tankers are, after all, tankers...) but I think that kinetics and dark can do a good job of mimicking tankers. And I think kinetics is better at it with the tools they have available. Assuming we can survive long enough to get two FSs and two SPs stacked, very few opponents can do enough damage to threaten a character. People constantly say we can't _defender_ but I really don't think they've seen us in action in the right circumstances... Against big foes, we are THE defender, imho. If a fight is going to last a bit of time, we are probably the best defender to have on a team...
I may be biased, of course, but... -
[ QUOTE ]
Two suggestions Quason, either go the no Stamina route or drop Aim. With only the dfault slot in Aim its not like its getting that much use, an accuracy insperation can cover for it, allowing you to get SP with the default slot.
As for Stamina, I find I get along well without it. You might be too spoiled by it to cope without it, but its definately doable.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh, we know it's certainly doable (watching Kinetic Barbie in action proved that) but, as I said somewhere (maybe another thread) going from relying on Stamina to not having it is a DRASTIC shift in playstyle. It would require a lot of training to get back to a similar level of effectiveness. Going the other way would be much easier, but going from Stamina to no Stamina is really hard. To make the no Stamina route work, I believe you have to never take it so you never learn to rely on it - you begin teaching yourself how to play without it right from the beginning. If you do that, you are able to do fine. If you take Stamina and become reliant on it, it's like chopping a leg off to get rid of it.
This is no judgement on the functionality of either option, just that one requires skill to work well while the other allows you to focus on other things. Both have advantages and drawbacks but, lacking the skill to make no Stamina work makes switching to that a painful process. -
[ QUOTE ]
For real tho, Siphon Power is definately getting squeezed back into the build somewhere, but I have to figure out what to drop. Any suggestions?
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, yeah - drop Aim. Power Build Up does the same thing but better. And given that you have it loaded with recharges you'll have it ready for virtually every fight. That frees up the power slot. I would find one extra enhancement slot from somewhere - you want _AT LEAST_ two recharges in Siphon Power for it to really be effective, ideally a third for an end reduction, but I wasn't able to find that spare third slot myself so I can easily see you having a similar problem...
But, yeah, drop Aim. It's useful (I certainly won't argue it's use, at all...) but its usefulness is already provided via PBU.
Another suggestion, which I know will sound really wacky, but here it goes - drop your nuke. You said you really don't like using it and I think I saw you use it once last night, mostly just to test it while the rest of us were nuking, but your play style really appears to not rely on it. If that's the case, dump it.
