How rich are you? If you've got a billion or two, is that 10M a week worth the trouble?
Do you rely on tickets for inf, or are they simply a by-product of amusing yourself in the AE?
If the latter, why not take a shot at gold every couple days and not worry if it hits or not?

I think your experimental data winds up omitting the effect of the occasional more valuable recipes, which shows up much more strongly once you go beyond 20 recipes. I've produced in excess of 160 million influence this way over less than a week as the result of playing arcs with some characters in the 40s.
Don't get me wrong, this isn't a method for serious marketers. There are more effective ways to produce influence - heck, with the knowledge I've acquired this way, I know how to do it. But.. while this isn't as good as full-on markeeting, it's definitely not penny-ante either. It's a nice opportunity for people who are running AE content for fun and looking to make enough influence to show up on radar.
Also, I'm playing enough that excess tickets are still a problem. Silver 25-29, Silver 30-34, or something else? -
I'd also like to express my thanks. I play a bit more than a "casual gamer", but I became very weary of spending a lot of effort examining MMO markets some years back. These recipe rolls have been very successful for me, allowing me to keep focusing on gameplay I actually enjoy, and this forum allowed me to learn about this without any intellectual effort at all!
Since I do play a bit more, I'm capable of finding that my characters are running low on enhancement slots using bronze rolls, leaving me with tickets to sink. Given that I'm looking to burn off tickets, should I opt for silver or gold rolls, and from which level range? -
Slax: Actually, I wouldn't mind getting some information on that unplayable arc. I like solving puzzles, even if that one will likely have to wait until we have a few more options in terms of what characters to bring.
OSHA: Your arc is on the queue. We've got a lot of arcs to clear, so it'll be a bit, but we'll get through it. -
Mito: We're providing feedback on everything we run, with the exception of cases where we try something with random people and find that we're actually going to need a coordinated team.. and even that's just delayed. If youre seeing plays of your arcs with no feedback, someone else is playing them

Myself, my wife, and a couple friends came back to City of... to see what the Mission Architect had to offer. We've been pleasantly surprised - we'd been hoping for more challenging content, and it delivers. As a result, I started a thread over in the Architect forum asking the community to provide us with difficult missions. Judging by the results thus far, it looks like we'll be spending quite some time doing this.
If you are interested in playing highly difficult missions, if you laugh in the face of death and find nothing frustrating but other people giving up, if you can do all that and remain interested in the small fun details people put into the arcs they create.. we could use your help.
Also, if you're interested in getting feedback on your own challenging content, we would be more than happy to help you.
We aren't a roleplaying group (sorry to say), and while we have a SG and VG up for convenience, our real means of organization is a global chat channel. Courtesy of the RWZ, we aren't much concerned with whether you're a hero or a villain - we're here to play a game and have fun with it.
If you would like more information, you can contact me via PM here, global chat as @Svlad, or at the quick forums I've tossed up here.
Thanks for taking the time to read this! -
Wow, when the thread wandered down to page 3 I figured it was dead. We had a lot of fun with the first couple arcs from this thread, and I hope to make this my main activity in the game from here on out.
Keep them coming! We will eventually play through all the arcs here, and we will be more than happy to honor feedback requests.
Incidentally, we play on Infinity. If you've read this far you already know exactly what our idea of fun is. If you think the same way, send me a message; my global chat handle is Svlad, oddly enough. Thanks to the Rikti War Zone it doesn't really matter to me which side of the fence your character is on. -
It's probably worth noting that we don't qualify as a large team - we have a lot of characters between us, but there are only four of us. We most certainly do run things on high difficulty settings, though

Well, having pretty much gotten my message across in the thread title, this is going to be a very exciting post. :P
Ahem. More seriously, in the absence of an arc tagging system or somesuch, I need your help. I and a couple friends came back to City of.. in the hope that we might find that the Mission Architect would provide us with new challenges. I've tried searching based on the current tags, I've tried asking on global chat channels, and so far all the missions we've tried have been steamrolled. Reading other threads, I know the fire blast/willpower AVs are out there. Help me find them! Send us to your worst nightmares.
Should it be useful, I'll provide some additional details. We've got a huge variety of archetypes and levels on both sides of the fence between us, but the major intersection tends to be a group of heroes in the late 30s. We've got a lot of strong control, debuff, and pure damage characters in that range. I know we're nowhere near invincible.. we're just not finding the deadly missions. Help us out, please.
