A cynic believes that selfishness motivates human behavior. That being said some 12 year old playing your story arc who can not grasp your well thought out story gives you a low rating because it was beyond his comprehension. Or perhaps someone who just got a bad rating tears your apart in revenge. Selfish behavior.

If you're concerned about your own writing and errors, do like any other writer does: have someone you know has the skills proofread it for you. That or run the text through a good word-processor. You can pick up an older version of Word quite cheap.

I'm only worried about having the resources to do the stories I want to do. I won't know until I can get in to the Beta. Can't paint without a canvas you know.

Well I was part of the unsuccessful Saturday afternoon one. And as Scrappy knows, I was the one who blew it. I didn't die but I killed the Right Guy at the Wrong Time and someone else died as a result.

All that aside, it was a very educational experience. I saw things that were done that I never did during a normal run because they were never problems for me and my teams but looking at it from a military viewpoint I understand why its done since they, well they got it down to a science. So if you sign up remember they are doing it so you can get that badge, you can do it anyway you want on any other run but listen to everything Scrappy or whoever is running it tells you.
The way they do it, they make it look easy.

It was great fun still and unless I catch one sooner, I'll be there Thursday 6pm Pacific for another shot.

I say to HECK with the rating system.
I don't want to see someone's great story rated low because that particular player hated to actually bother to read it.

Nor do I want to see someone's Mind Blowing Death Defying mission rated down because he made some grammer error.

I say the Devs judge and them alone. BUT since this isn't going to happen then I'm glad there is a Dev's choice category so that great story arcs that are butchered by player opinion may actually be saved by the Devs.

What I mean by shutting up and doing as I'm told is that I will not act on what I know on how to beat it but listen to those who have already gotten the MSTF badge and probably know more than I.

Saturday is well according my clock, now, 12:15 am.(Central Time) I'm going to assume that there is the possibility of a MSTF at the some time scheduled Saturday 10:00 am (Pacific Time).

So I will be there this time. I hope it kicks off since Thursday is so hard for me to do.

I've done the Statesman TF many times but never attempted the MSTF so I plan to shut up, do as I'm told, and keep pressing the "Awesome" button.

Thursdays are at 6 pm pst and Saturdays are usually 10 am pst. Thursdays are guaranteed, Saturdays are not. Be on the boat early cause they are typically first come depending on the level of interest.

Wow just sent my morning getting all the nukes and the shivan and then I realize you can't use temp powers during the MSTF. Oh well save those for a rainy day.

Well I can be there as early as Saturday morning: 7 am Pacific time. I'll be online and check this forum occasionally to see if there is anything going on. But if you are up that early send a tell to Suriel around then and I'll answer. I'll probably be in Bloody Bay or Warburg.

We have been led to believe that it all happens in the Architect Entertainment building, rather than out in the world. Someone may make an arc with Vic Johannson as the Contact, but an image of Vic will appear and grant the missions, which will lead you to doors within the building. You won't be going to King's Row to Vic, so you will never be outisde to receive an ambush.

In mission ambushes? Yes. In between mission ambushes? No.

Ok then so far that is the only thing I don't like. I think the missions should start at the Architect building but carry on in the rest of the game zones.

This is everything I hoped it would contain and more. I can't wait to get my hands on it.
