With the state of things now most teams just run damage heavy (1 Rad + 5 Blasts, 2 emps) and just throw a pile of attacks out there. You don't see a lot of room for things like Kins, but if you were to run one something like Kin/Son Corr or Grav/Kin controller would bring a lot more to the table.
Illusion's extra in confuse and some mild target disruption are definitely overshadowed by Grav's cage and wormhole. -
Been away from the game for 4 years and just getting back into things. I am looking to see if an Ill/Kin Controller is still viable when it comes to team PvP in the arena. Been reading around and have no seen much on this. Reaching out to the community here to find out what others think. If this is still viable for team PvP in the arena looking for any suggestions for a good build.

Elitist might be a bit strong; I think that based on the model we can see so far, moving to the VIP server would be less about a "Better than the neighbors" mentality, and more about a "Damned kids! Get off my lawn!" mentality. A reaction to a fear of added hassle, so to speak. And, like the gated community that apparantly has deluded itself into thinking that punk kids can't jump or climb things, I imagine they'll be in for the same surprise. The VIP server won't filter out annoying players anymore than Champion's extant setup already does. It just guarantees that if you DO get annoyed by a new player, they'll have full access to begging you for PL/Inf in tells, Mission Architect, and broadcast/request spam... Hrm... Sticking around gets even better the more I think about it...

The VIP server I am sure will probably win out in the end. Think of all the old friends that may be coming back. If you jump ship right off the start you may miss out on some good times.
Never been much on words but wanted to make my first post in about 4 years. Looking forward to seeing you all in game again.

When I am not play CoH I am a firefighter in the great state of texas, in a city called Frisco. Since I work 24hours on and 48 hours off I am going to school as well for a computer science major. Do not know what I will really do with it but that is what I am doing since I am on a computer when I am not working or in school or as some of you already know not with my g/f.
