Having same problem came here to check it out seen the green lights too but no luck at login either.

Recently downloaded mids to help with making my first Brute and I was experimenting with brute secondaries. I found that Inv compared to Elec once slotted only provided an extra 11% resistance against S/L damage than elec did.

Elec has capped energy resistance and over double resistance against fire,cold and a lovely 41% resist to Psionic. The only ***** in elecs armor I can see is no self heal and the toxic resist. (Well lack of..)

Im a noob when it comes to Brutes and Mids so a little help would be appreciated if anyone else has any experience. Im not so bothered about min/max build. I just wanna be able to solo and team well.

I know this thread is really old but I recently tried to restart COV and guess what it worked!! no more DC problems So now im back in game after 3 months of cold turkey and back on the forums.

Also finally managed to get that nice SOA at level 1 up to a decent level. Hope to see you all in game soon

If anyone else has any suggestions I'm all ears

Im still kind of new to the sets and set bonuses I only ever really use plain IO's

However with my AR I find that 4 seconds for the tier 1 attack (burst) is a little too long!! I know certain sets have /recharge in but im looking for sets that may also have a global recharge set bonus in as well?

This will also help me with recharge on my traps powers , is there anyone else out there that has an AR/traps with sets aimed at recharge or just any suggestions, I looked at the black market myself but its too much to take in all at once

Thanks StandOff i was getting worried again! i had to take a break from COX just as i12 was released!!! as my mobile dongle wouldnt connect. only good thing about that is i13 is closer ..

Usually though when the maintanence is on i can log in but the servers arent clickable but this time no luck at all... Hmm Hopefully means something

Well Finally back playing this game after spending months off because the t-mobile dongle didnt like connecting however now im back are any of these veat sgs out there still active? or has everyone given up on the idea?

Bar strength Similar to Mobile phone signal strength is at 4 bars. Yeah when HSPDA drops to 3g i get the dc (when i get dced first thing i do is check my connection light) but once HSDPA comes on i get whipped back to whats going on in the villainy world. This time it is showing a dc with my HSDPA light on Hopefully somethings interfering locally and it might just go away! If not Boohoo

Well i really dont have anywhere i can use a wired connection, i guess i could try my parents connection but i won;t be round there for a while so if it is this stupid modem any chance that it will go back to working as it once did as it going to seriously put a cog in my online gaming shenanigans

So you're playing over T-Mobiles' 3G network?

That, I'm afraid, is your problem. That thing is NOT designed for any more than web surfing and email; even streaming media over it is fraught with major lag. 3G networks just don't have the latency you need for a stable connection to something like an MMO. I strongly suggest you play one a proper wired ADSL or Cable connection.

I dont mean to be rude. but i have been playing this game for a nearly a year with no such problems!! and the dl rate on my modem is in excess of 1000kbps a sec and always has been. (when connected its HSPDA not 3G) I would love a wired connection where i live but it is simply not possible

*I do have a t mobile mobile usb broadband internet connection i was hoping it was my location but after trying to play the game in 3 different areas (Work,Parents and own house) i still get the same 20-40 secs game time before experiencing lost connection to mapserver.

* Isp would be the T-mobile network

* Live North West Lancashire England

* I tried reconfiguring firewall and even stupidly turned it off but still no luck

Everytime i log onto any server or any character i am able to pay COX for between 20-40 secs before i recieve the disconnect from mapserver. I managed to play cox fine yesterday after i12 came out but all i have had for the past seven hours ive tried to log in is the same Anyone have a similar problem or have any ideas? (its not my internet connection)
