The thing that strikes me most about this experiment is that you have superior proportional mastery, if you can easily transition into a brand new style while still maintaining a proper look and feel to it. What you'd lack instead is just simple experience and confidence. More than anything, that will make your lines smooth and your pieces uniform.

One thing though. You put her rear hand on backwards. :3 Don't be discouraged though, we've all done this from time to time. It's just a simple fix to remember for next time. I always try to adopt the pose myself, to double check my thumb orientation. It takes a few seconds and it's good practice for making sure my elbows are in the right spots as well.

If anything, anime is a form of cartooning. It's a style that is about flow and simple lines more than detail and characture. Anime style does have it's own proportions and rules, much like any other style, but they don't match up to real world proportions the same way Comic style heroes don't match up with real people either. You have to learn the stylized proportions in order to properly start to 'think' in the style.

Dynamic action isn't a result of the style, so much as your unfamiliarity with it. That's like jumping into hard mode, before you've cleared easy. It's no wonder that it's difficult to visualize a dynamic pose.

It's true that people tend to look the same aside from their hair, but that's the same with comic heroes as well. The difference is that anime tends to stylize these parts of the character to the point where they stand out. Thusly you notice the differences in the hair and the differences in the face seem to fade away by comparison.

Think about Sunday morning comic strips. Or Image era comic books. These are no less stylized, but we're trained to recognize the differences more easily because we're used to seeing them more. Anime is new for most people and 'everything looks the same' much like how people of a different culture tend to 'all look the same.' We're just not trained to see it.
