Thanks, I'll take a look. Added to the bug tracker!

On the by and by... what does FMP mean?
  3. Very nice run last night, thanks everyone!

Anyone have a preference for next week's? I'm thinking Hess or Moonfire could be fun.

Of course I can't "prove" that most people aren't like you, just as much as you can't prove "most" people are.

In my nearly 5 years of play I've yet to be told, or been on any team that was party to, AT snobbery*. That's anecdotal evidence to be sure, but it's a whole lot of it. If that's how you run your teams, that's fine it's your $15. But to make it seem like Volken is "part of the problem" and should cater to your specific preference (which is what that wall of text indicates), that's not fair to Volken or anyone else who wants to play an AT you disapprove of, and to make it sound like there's a ton of people playing who are picky making it difficult for any AT to find a team is disingenuous.

    * Edit: Except for the idiots that do the opposite of what you say, such as "OMG we NEED a healer! / ZOMG we HAVE TO HAVE a tank". But those are weirdos of a different breed.

And - All ATs are very useful throughout the game.
This, I think, is the only pertinent thing to tell anyone asking what Volken did in his OP.

Any poor player playing any AT is going to be bad.

Volken - Play what you like. Most people are not like Alt here and have no problems forming teams with whatever/whoever is available. Tankers are a fine AT, and are very useful throughout the game.

    Women can't tank!
  11. Sounds like someone doesn't know how to tank

    Fixed.
  13. You're fine. One big thing about CoH is team-makeup is largely irrelevant. If teams are telling you they don't want you because you're a tank, you don't want to be on that team anyway.

If you're having fun, play it! You'll get teams regardless. Tanks can be particularly useful in the higher levels to take on Archvillains and whatnot.
  14. Peppercat has informed he can not make it. Scootertwo - still interested?
  15. Willpower has a AoE taunt in one of the toggles, so I don't know if I agree it can't hold aggro, especially if it's just a duo.

Yeah, this is a quick 'n' dirty implementation until some more builds get added in to make the feature really useful. It kind of goes with my overall goal of developing in iterations. Get something working and usable up, and then go back and make it more useful and feature-rich. This lets me get stuff into your all's hands quickly, while allowing me to maintain my sanity with a sense of getting stuff done.

One thing I can't seem to find (might be you, might be me) is a button to get from the planner pages back to the Titan Network itself. Unless I am overlooking something, that would be handy at times if I don't want to open yet another browser tab.
Nope, I've been remiss and didn't put the link at the top, like we do on other sites. Screen real-estate is tight and I just forgot to find a place to put it.

edit: Also, when browsing public builds, is there a way to see the player's name? IIRC that used to be possible.
Yep, I can add that in. See above about the quick/dirty and iterations

  19. Another code push for today, and it's a nice feature

    9/21/2009 3:15PM EST

    New Features:
    - Added the "Browse Builds" page. It only has basic functionality for now, but with as few builds as are currently saved in the new system it's not such a big deal yet.
  20. Today's push fixes the second part of Iron Yeti's concerns!

    9/21/2009 12:00PM EST

    New Features:
    - If you deselect all powers in a set, you can now change the set in the drop-down menu. This should let you change your mind, or fix a mis-click, without having to do a hard refresh of the page.
    - Just a fun thing, but selecting a villain changes the site's theme.

    Fixes:
    - Corrected a display issue when "enabling" powers that shouldn't have been available after de-selecting them. Functionality was working fine, but it was showing powers as being available when they shouldn't be.
