    You guys crack me up

but seriously folks, the reason why the colloseum was at the center of roman life in many ways is because of the audience. the mightest of gladiators could duke it out in the most extravagant and flamboyant of battles, but if no one was around to watch, who really cared? the emperor, who decides the fate of the defeated gladiator, was his thumb not influenced by the cheers, or jeers, of the audience?

please positron, let us watch battles in the arena! let the heroes inside get worked up to the cheers of the people! let the people outside watch as their favourite heroes turn the competition into mush! let the streets be washed with the bloo...

oh sorry. got carried away there.
  3. Hi States

A lot of things have been said, a lot of good suggestions! The ones I like and would like to see in particular are:

    1. Expand SG max members from 75 to at least 100, or 125.

    2. More distinct SG indentity options. Some things that would be good are:

2.1. Unique logos, for SG use only, or better yet a unique logo creator that would work like the costume creator works, on set logo templates and elements.

2.2. An additional costume slot, for the official SG costume This would work best if members are allowed to chose which costume elements to apply from the SG costume, and which costume elements to keep from their own costumes. Just like it works now with the colours

2.3. Access to unique costume elements for use in SG costumes... conditions on how these unique costume elements are attained could be a successful SG-based mission, a certain number of SG members... etc.

    3. Allow the leaders to change all these identity settings after SG formation.

    4. Alliances and alliance chat.

    5. More than 3 ranks, at least five, at most seven. Ability for SG leaders to select which rank/s get recruitment powers.

    6. Overhaul of the in-game email system to more resemble conventional email services, ie Yahoo, Hotmail.

    7. SG rewards and recognition Ranks! Badges! Temp powers! It would work like an 'Employee/s of the Month' system. SG leader chooses one person or a small group of people who have shown great dedication to the SG, to be rewarded with temporary badges, attached to temporary powers. Powers could be anything; nothing too powerful, but more designed to make that person's playing experience a little bit better. Faster travel speed, tad less debt for limited amt of deaths (The Nine Lives Award)... etc The said member then has the benefit of that power for a month, and may not be awarded that power again next month.

And the most important thing: Simplicity. Whatever fun and functional things you decide to add to the supergroup concept, I'd really like to retain how simple and easy it is to navigate through all the options.

That's all, and I can't wait to see the changes that are coming to help make SGs a vital part of the CoH experience.

In the future, standing proudly beside the American flag grants a hero this badge.

Well I for one will not be getting this badge. I'm an Australian... no way am I going to suck up to another countries flag just to get a badge.

Then again our Prime Minister sucks up to your President every day, so why should this be any different.

    LOL...

thanks for injecting some much need humour to my day
  7. But what about the people on Virtue!? We want our Virtue badge as well! This is unfair! I want my $45 back!
