This is probably unneccesarry to say, but as nobody apparently has any interest for easy/free influence, the scavenger hunt has been called off. No late minute cash-ins for an easy first place will be rewarded. If you've forgotten about this until now...keep your ears open. We will probably use the influence to host a different sort of contest.

Aye, thanks for dropping by dude--I hope you visit us again soon, as my video recording program...didn't work out so well with videos over 10 minutes. So...we need to try again.

We started off with a Posi TF, had two teams. Team 2 had better things to do, so only team one participated in the CC. @Zaloopa won with her Dark Dust Bunny costume.

Afterwards, was @Stalemates Ouroboros event and @MissKyo's Hamidon Raid! And then, The MoKeyes! We picked up a few people that were off the list, but we did much better than the last attempt, and we got 2 out of the 4 badges. Go team!

Next up was the all Kheldian Lambda. We had a special visitor from Virtue, Dechs Kaison. But before we kicked the tar out of that trial (and nabbed myself a very rare incarnate salvage) we ran a new Warshade Heaven. I would post the video, but apparently xfire doesn't let you upload videos over ten minutes. Good to know.



Afterwards was the Iron Tailor, with our winners from yesterday competing against @Globetrotter. We had some...interesting people show up, but most of our crowd was very helpful in judging, and I was pleased to drop money and enhancements on lots of people. I hope you guys had fun judging it for us!




And then--the Cathedral of Pain! It went very smooth, with us killing the AV on the second wave. Great job folks!



Later on was the illusion superteam! We ran the STF, and pretty much dominated it. Good times.



Last on the agenda for today...the Medic! event. It was lots of fun, and the competition went on to the last minutes (despite me attempting to grief the others by spawning the nictus ambush in the first mission), but in the end nobody won. Now we get to find someone else to spend our money on. It was a fun try though, guys!

Costume Contest was first:

The winners were @Zues Tank, @Exercitus, @Blaze Rocker, @MissKyo, and @El D took first. We also had two honorary award winners who will hopefully show up just in case one of our winners can't make it. The Panda and Alpha Source.

Afterwards was the special edition of Kheldian Fridays, wherein we ran the second respec mission.




I held the costume contest afterwards, and apparently everyone forgot the theme was Naughty or Nice. Luckily, a new player to Kheldian Fridays, @doom.rider (who I hope sticks around) cheated and changed his costume. His new costume was now the sole naughty one though, so he won.


Lastly, @AIB ran his special event, in which I was able to take part. We had a surprising number of survivors, given the curve ball at the end where the enemies did nothing but psi damage. Congratz to the team!

You can join and watch Protector Vigilance (which we will be using to broadcast for the events), as that will be the easiest way to find out what is going on. You could also message me, I suppose.

This is the official thread for posting entries for this weekends Naughty or Nice event. There will be two lists of items for you to capture via screenshots; one list for Saturday, and one list for Sunday. You may post Saturdays entry at any point during Saturday (and likewise for Sunday), but if you are late (or early) with your respective lists entry, your entry will be disqualified. Also keep in mind that if you post very early in the day, you may have your ideas copied. On that note, no, you cannot send your entries directly to me or Layla. We must both be able to see these for ease of judging. If you send them directly to us, they will be disqualified.

The more items on the list you collect, the better your score will be. Each picture you obtain will be graded a number of points (1-5) for how well it was done, with 1 being the equivalent of writing your name on a blank test sheet, and 5 being "Wow, that is impressive." We add up all the points from everything you manage to get, and the winners have the highest number of points. There will also perhaps be a couple honorary winners, who perhaps didn't take a 1st-3rd place, but managed to get a single picture that we really enjoyed. Those winners will get a rare IO, such as a LotG: +recharge or the like. Also, if you plan on going for the #10's on the list, know this: If we know you're doing whatever you're doing just to make the list requirement, you will probably get a 1 or 2. If you manage to sneak it by us, you get a much higher score.

Maybe some day you'll get around to it, there is no rush. Perhaps the "Warshade Heaven" video in my sig will change your mind?

Looking better...I would recommend trying to build for some SL defense, if you can. Stygian circle is still overslotted--it really only needs its base slot, with a recharge IO. Oh, and don't forget to pick up Stygian Return. And don't forget to choose your alpha.

I havent seen your build on mids yet, but it looks like you are chasing recharge bonuses above everything else. Please keep in mind effectiveness--set bonuses mean little if your character doesnt have its basic needs filled.

Things to look at:

You need damage in gravity well.
You've overslotted Stygian Circle.
Sunless Mire could use better slotting (try frankenslotting, if no sets appeal to you).
Unchain Essence needs to be slotted for damage.
Exchange the call to arms in Extract Essence to soulbound allegiance (Dam/rech and chance for build up).
Slot Eclipse with two Acc/Dam HOs and two recharge IOs, it's the most efficient way to slot this power.
Your dwarf ST attacks are woefully underenhanced.

I've removed/replaced the Death From Below trial on Saturday with a Positron TF. The costume contest has been changed from newbie hero to darkness themed.

This was done because I am sick of what the DFB has become.
