And no, they're not obligated to tell us what the exact issue is (especially in the case of a server security issue). And no, they can't give us an ETA. Please take into consideration the fact that some, if not MOST, people plan their day around when they can play--for instance, had I known ahead of time that servers were going to be down TWO HOURS longer than expected, I wouldn't have rushed through my shower, and I would have saved some of my cleaning just so I'd have something to do. Not everyone plays more than this game, OR is okay with finding stuff to do on the internet. My hubby is perfectly fine playing Team Fortress 2, but I don't have any other games, and prefer to not watch TV.
It would just be nice to know if maintenance is going to be a lot longer than 30 minutes past schedule; I think it's very rude of the devs to not let us know something...& really, maintenance is only ONE day a week; how hard is it for one of them to keep an eye on it and let us know something? Really, now... think of things from other's perspectives instead of just your own.

I'm SO glad you decided to go ahead and let us know--that means I can rearrange my plans with my girlfriend if at all possible! Not to mention that I get to be psyched about it for 2 months before it happens...Halloween is my second fave holiday!

Hi, my name is Stefanie and I currently reside on Triumph! (blah)
I have been a member of the Dolls SG since April (not that long!) I was promoted to the highest ranking possible, next to a leader, and earned just shy of 1.7mil prestige. However, what with the SG Leader being inactive, as well as most of the rest of the SG, I was demoted yesterday without one word being said to me. When I PM'd the leader and asked her why, she said it was because I wasn't doing anything that deemed leadership. I told her I wasn't exactly sure how I was supposed to be doing that when NO ONE from the SG was active (including her!) I ended up leaving because I had actually been unhappy for a while, anyway.
I'm looking for an active all-girls SG that will accept the fact that I am addicted to this game and am on a LOT...I ENJOY earning prestige (and enjoy it even more when it's actually put to use sometimes,) I like doing TF's and Raids and just regular missions, and I also REALLY enjoy farming (I really like pl'ing lowbie friends--but only because when I farm, I find it a waste of time to be by myself!)
Now, after having said all of that...I'm trying to find out how active Justice Girls is before I make the switch over to Virtue. The toon I would be bringing is my lvl 50 Fire/SD Scrapper whom is my main. I actually made a post on Guardian concerning the Dream Team SG yesterday, and haven't heard anything at all! I found their website on guildportal however, and decided that's not what I'm looking for..
P.S. Not sure it matters, but my good friend from the Dolls said he would put in a good word for me...his global is @Xenon Knight'

well, I found their website on Guild Portal...unfortunately, it doesn't look like they are that active anymore. I guess I'll be looking into the Justice Girls on Virtue!

Hi, my global is @Stefie Girl, and I currently reside on Triumph. With the free character server transfers, I have been trying to decide if I want to switch to Guardian server... The toon I want to transfer is a lvl 50 fire/sd Scrapper. I'm not really a "newb;" I've played for almost 4 years! I just don't have the vet rewards to show it (quitting, coming back periodically, but never for long periods of time!)
I joined the Dolls SG in April, and was loving it...but have been bored with it for some time now. The SG leader isn't that active, just as most of the rest of the SG is not. Ever since I started playing CoH, I've wanted to be a Doll...let's suffice it to say that I'm extremely disappointed with the way things have gone.
Sorry for all the chatter, I was just trying to give a back story. I am making this post because while servers were down for maintenance today, I was browsing the forums and looking at other servers to possibly switch to...Guardian seems like the best fit for me. I was searching the SG's and was really interested in getting more information on the Dream Team!! They seem very active and like what I have been looking for... With my Fire/SD, I really like to farm....I LOVE earning prestige (since April, I earned just shy of 1.7million prestige in the Dolls.) I'm very active in the game--as in, I play every day! It's my addiction.
If anyone has any information, or if the SG Leader of the Dream Team could even pop in and say a word, that would be great! Is there a website where I can go to sign up??
I hope it is ok for me to say that I have narrowed it down to either the Dream Team on Guardian, or the Justice Girls on Virtue (I'd really prefer to come to Guardian, though!) <3 <3 & I'm not contacting the Justice Girls until I hear something from the Dream Team!! =)
