  1. I also like GC better. I started my first toon in beta in AP, and had a real hard time finding my way around, even finding Ms Liberty (that was before they put her on a pedestal). That seemed to be where the 1st wavers gathered to welcome/help us newbies of the 2nd wave, which was nice, but that was also where the over crowding first caused the mobs to stop spawning, totally. During the "no badguys" period, I moved over to GC, to scrounge for the few mobs that still spawned there, and I liked it much better, so I started all my toons there from then on.
Besides the lower crowds, and less KSing, I also seem to get fewer blind invites in GC (honestly people, why would I want to team with someone who can't even be bothered to say "hi" before sending the invite, much less ask me if I want to team)
There do seem to be more missions that send players from GC to AP, than vice-versa, which is a little inconveniant without travel powers.
I also always go back to GC to sell enhancements during my KR phase with each of my characters. It's so much handier.
  2. There's only one voice in my head, and, curiously enough, it sounds exactly like my mother's voice. Is that significant?
  3. Code Name:Steelhead
    Real Name:Theo Green
    Powers:Ice Armor/Ice Melee
    Origin:Technology

Created from used Zamboni parts, and state of the art ice floor technology, by eclectic genius inventor and hockey rink technician Dr Jack Frost, the Steelhead v3.0 powered battle suit played a key role in defeating a small scale rikti invasion of Boise Idaho. Minor-league hockey player, turned hero, JC Green lead a small band of brave Idahoans to repel the aliens. In the final battle, though, JC was killed, and the suit destroyed, when he alone held off the enemy long enough for his team to regroup.
The suit was rebuilt, and upgraded to v4.0, and JC's cousin Theo, also a minor league hockey player, was allowed to bring it to Paragon City for it's field test.
The original field test was only supposed to last through the off-season, after which Theo planned to return to competive hockey, and the suit was to be stored until it was needed again. Once he had seen how great the need for heroes was in Paragon City, though, Theo couldn't go back to his old life. Using technology upgrades only available here, Dr Frost and Theo have enhanced the capabilities fo the suit far beyond original design specifications. Some of those modifications have required changes to Theo himself, and he is no longer just a regular guy in a special suit, making his eventual return to hockey now impossible.
