Quote:CR had listed them numerically in the first update, and I followed suit with my update...numerically. My guesses were Cashoo = 99 and Taclobanon = 69. It had nothing to do with the Updated Number List. I game for not listing it at all now that I've got my own spreadsheet working....hoping that you guys will duplicate wrong answers...MUAHAHAHAH!!!!
xoxo
PyroQuote:My thought was to make it easier for the pickers, as there will be (potentially) 200 of them, and not for
knowing who chose what numbers as it only matters if you win and there will only be 2 winners.
Staring at a jumbled list of numbers out of order will make it harder as it goes along as each
person will have to read through the entire strand to make sure their number isn't already chosen... if
they are in numeric order however it's quick and easy to find if the number you want is taken and if you can't
think of a good number just count up from 1 till you find a "gap" and choose something in there.

Really nice piece CR! Grats on that acquisition!
-
"Really" awesome sketch of Caemgen CR! Well done!
-
I ate 44 Cashoo's and they made me thirsty! Ooops I meant Cashews.
I hear Taclobanon is banned in 35 countries due to the addictive nature of the substance.
Pyro - I have to assume your added numbers were 90 for Cashoo and 88 for Taclobanon, because I don't know what order you wrote that list in. For clarity's sake - lets all put the new numbers after the name. So new numbers to the left and the oldest number is right. The numbers below now reflect this progression.
Updated numbers
Cashoo: 44-66-2-29-19-65-90-60-20-42-88-99-5-6-13
Taclobanon: 35-43-12-17-1-11-88-89-58-42-90-69-2-10-72 -
Quote:You are so correct CR - (Sorry y'all), I went back and added a title for them all, except the Poser stuff - they have names built in
Also titles or brief descriptions would help even if its just, Knighthawk #1 #2 and #3.
Speaking of which that's a cool looking character is it one of yours? What kind of powers does he have and was he made for CoH?
Thanks again CR - Both versions of Knighthawk are designs of mine. #1 was old-school spandex, so I attempted to modernize him a bit more on version #2. He wasn't designed for CoX. My vision of him was more of a cosmic King Arthur with a blade that could cut through anything and generated a protective force field. -
Thanks Snowjob, I appreciate it! I finally got the nerve to post some stuff!
And I be thankin' ye Captai...I mean thank you very much CR!
I haven't named the pieces, but if your're referencing the 1st and 4th in order from top down, I refer to both of them as Knighthawk. The one I colored in marker was my first approach to the character.
I wasnt sure if I should even include the space city at all, but I thought it was a little different from the norm. Quite honestly, in hind sight, I feel kinda silly that I posted so many. A few of each would have sufficed. -
Thanks for the kind words everyone! I'm really glad you like it! Coming from this crowd, it means alot!
Pyro, I'd be honored to see whatever you'd like to do with them. Of course you gotta send me a copies -
I used to draw for my own fun all the time, but as many of you know, life gets in the way and my art faded into the backround. It's been years since I've made time to pick up a pencil, but recently the wonderful work so many of you have provided, has inspired me and I've started sketching again.
I'm not schooled in illustration or art, so I know what I'm submitting is anotomically inaccurate and is no where near the impressive level of skillz so many of you have on these boards. With that said, I humbly submit some of my drawings and some attempts at digital art made with Poser and photoshop.
These drawings were hastily scanned from my sketch book a few years back so I apologize for the image quality. Oh, and if any of you want to color any of these, I would be honored

After, (no tablet - just a mouse)...
Some attempts at using Poser 4 w/costumes done in photoshop. Background art/photos by others. I just used them for backgrounds...
Anyway, I guess that's enough until I get my scanner hooked up! I appreciate anyone who made it to the bottom of this post! I hope to keep drawing again and get better!
Thanks all! -

POW! Pyro you nailied it!!! I absolutely love it! Really great job and nice breakdown on the process! I love what you did with the color transition on the star as well as that reflective blue ambient lighting on the inner return on the ring at the bottom. That toucha' stars in there gives me an idea for a twinkling animated avatar too! Thank you very much!!!
Let me know about that costume of yours - I definitley owe you one for this!
scampers off to make an avatar switch.... -
Late to the party but happy birthday Suichiro! Hope it rocked!
-
LOL - FOO's is fantastic! I absolutely love the "ef you" subtley about it! Classic
Oh and I love the new look for CR's as well! Great look on that! -

CR - This came out great but I suggest a different shot if possible. The refelctive area on the button lens, in conjunction with the shaded areas around your temples and facial hair, kinda makes you look like a Klingon. -
Pyro - I love the re-worked versions for Swan and King. They look simply amazing!
-
Grats to the winners! Looking forward to the final product!
-
Great work Pyro, they look fantastic! Your shading looks great to me. Very inspirational!
Just wondering on your approach...For the most part - are you using the same border and refelective face, (as seperate layers), where you only need to color the border add the new image?
Eddy's looks different from the above set. The shading is great but it appears the border doesn't have the same feel of depth as the original set. Although, I completely understand that, due to the many contours that would be required by the icon.
Man, I'd love one of these -
I like to make team posters after completing TF's. So, I'm not sure if this qualifies as an action shot but...Here is a shot where I caught the player at the far right in the middle of a costume change. I just love everything about the look and pose captured.
Here is another favorite action shot of mine. It's an SG mate of mine, Mantisman, taking on Scirocco. In all fairness, I did photoshop enhance Scirocco's sword and added a few lens flares on it. But other than that, it's a straight up screenshot. -
What a great gift and well done to boot! Grats on it!
-
I agree, definitely go into the hall. Man that looks like alot of work!
-
Wow good stuff! From someone who is self taught on computer graphics, this is very interesting and a new learning tool for me - thank you! Keep up the good work and keep it coming!
