Last I saw Wolfen, he was headed to Freedom with most of his SG.

He was involved in the Praesidium coalition I had co-founded way back when it was starting out in 2005-06, but opted to leave it and Protector eventually. I used to have him on my list of global friends, but then differences occured, fur was ruffled - you know how it is.

I have no idea if he's still playing.

A search of his global just now returned 0 results. Sorry.

We might be able to track down some former mates it they're still around.

Meanwhile, don't forget to add the Protector Vigilance channel to you favorite chat tab, and you may want to add Jello Shooters as well.

To the latest group of volunteers: I've fallen a little behind in processing applications and updating our lists.

You can still join the channel and recruit new players to do the same, offer assistance, etc.

I should be caught up some time this weekend.

Pick one of the following activities we could run at 8-9PM Eastern tonight:

OPTION 1
Imperious TF with an all tanker team.
This will be set at +3 / x8
- Loot friendly: Defeat everything in sight, no stealthing or TPing to mission objectives, etc. Multiple teams can compete if numbers are sufficient. Level 35+.

OPTION 2
Mender Silos TF, solo speed competition for bragging rights.
This will be set at +1 / x2. Level 46+
- I've personally done this in 51 min. at the old "Rugged" setting (about equivalent to +2 / x3) on my inv/em tanker without really straining. Deaths are expected, use all the inspirations / temporary buffs you want.

With the arrival of attachments I'm finding all sorts of loot I'd forgotten about.

That, added to the deletion of 4-5 level 50 graduates is producing interesting results.

Having the opportunity to be involved in community led activities.

• The Praesidium coalition taking up the mantle of running the Herolympics (later Superolympics) from the Defenders of the Night and Kids in the Hall... of Justice SGs on Protector. Our first run being dedicated to a friend, Storm Angyl, who'd lost her battle to illness.
• Being involved in W00t Radio's first steps with my former SG, Phantoms of War on Protector, donating millions in influence for prizes and seeing one of our own join the staff.
• Participating in P.E.R.C. and the Superolympics Committee.
• Having the chance to participate, then lead, the New Player Welcoming Night on Protector, then seeing other servers do the same.
• Seeing the NPWN morph into the New Player Council / New Player Channel and become a cross-server group of altruistic volunteers called the Mentor Project.

I love the new issues, game improvements and etc.

But in the end, this is what makes CoH different: despite our differences, despite our oft opinionated rants between ourselves, there exists a camaraderie amongst the capes that always shines through.
