    This!

Here's tomorrow's comic, which is itself a cover for issue 2 of WootLabs!

I'm barely able to keep up with two strips a week! But coming up in the next few months is a big Pengi-heavy story arc. He and Wendy take a road trip.

    Sneak peak at Monday's comic:

There's a CoH DeviantArt group? Damn, I need to use DA more often.

Close! :3 It's the opposite actually; she wants Woot and her gang to become heroes.

I digitized a Catbot knit hat design today at work:

Was thinking of running a giveaway promotion in December for people that "like" the comic's facebook page. Thoughts?
  5. I've tossed out a few hints; but only really subtle ones. More than anything I think she's come off as an asexual being so far. In love with herself more than anyone. >.> I have plans for revealing APM's interest in Woot, and there is a backstory I want to build on later. In my head Woot's been gay since I started the comic; just like she is in CoH, but I didn't want the comic to be "about" that. I noticed a LOT of webcomics have a tendency to hyperfocus when it comes to that subject matter.

Any readers who would leave because of that are people you don't want around anyway. Stick to your guns!
That's exactly what I told them.
  6. I left it as is. It debuted publicly today; so far the response from the non-CoH people that view the comic has been positive. It's kinda nervewracking introducing something like this; it's kind of a risk of alienating some readers. But thanks to you awesome folks for being my test audience. :3

What I was probably going to do. Maybe have APM whoosh off in the distance, as mysteriously as she appeared. She may even say "Woosh!" :3

    Thanks for the feedback all!
  8. What I really like is all the scuff marks on the helmet, a great attention to detail there.
  9. A friend mentioned that the comic doesn't make any sense. I was hoping to play up APM as an unpredictable, impulsive sort of character, but I'm not sure it comes off okay. Think the strip could benefit from rewriting?
  10. Sneak peak at Thursday's comic!
  11. I've been losing my mind from businessy-ness the past few days thanks to the move. Thankfully, my dear friend Fae picked up the slack for yesterday's comic and made me a Guest Comic:

I'll be getting back to the story on Thursday. Already haved it inked; just needs color and layout. Girl makeouts incoming. :O
  12. I'm going with Musculature because of the damage and immobilization increase; they both sound useful. For my others:

Interface: Reactive all the way; 75% chance on Carrion Creepers should be sweet.
Destiny: Barrier. I don't really need heals or endurance, Clarion is worthless with Domination always up, but the extra defense is always nice!
Judgement: Ion, because I really lack a distance punch.
Lore: Rikti, purely because the character in question is a cowgirl. Cowboys and Aliens. :3
  13. So I was wondering; do we have many Virtue-ites on Facebook? I have a fair bit on my list, mostly people that I knew from my old coalition. At any rate, I'd like some more CoH pals, maybe we could even start something of a connection thread like the Formspring one has become. Mine's: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001264962054 So feel free to Friend me if you like; just mention you're a CoHer!
  14. Perez isn't a must stop place anymore. It's very skippable. And conceivably, someone that levelled to 50 as a villain might now know where it is.

I like the trial as is. It's crazy repetitive after a while, so people that go all the way with it earned their high level.
  15. I did a lot of experimenting and tinkering around with ideas and builds, in the end I went with yours, Shakey. Thanks everyone for the insights, I've never really seen Doms as badass until now!
  16. I posted this in my thread on the art forum too, but just in case some folks don't visit that section: here's some Halloween well wishes to my pals on Virtchew!

    Art!

I really enjoy seeing where your art has gone over the years, Heroid. It looks great! Looking forward to seeing more!

Also, Catbot as Hulk Hogan is oddly fitting.
Did you notice that Penny has to stuff with water balloons in order to met She-Hulk level boobage? :3

    Fright Fest!

Good luck Friday, Foxy! I'm sure you'll throw a great party!
  20. Because I'm going to be busy moving from now until Sunday, I did Thursday's comic ahead of time. Halloween wishes to all!

I have a vauge idea of what I want to happen; though most of the jokes are written on a day to day basis. Like right now I know that I want the group to become heroes; and I want Penny and APM to become close, but no specific scenes.
  22. This is a good idea; even if you don't like the sound of my character, I may try sniffing out this sort of RP with her elsewhere. :3 Sounds like a good long term storyline that could have some interesting hooks.
  23. I have a blueside character that, while she isn't a mage, is a monster/paranormal hunter. A little bit like the B.P.R.D. in Hellboy. She's knowledgeable about a lot of various rituals and demon lore, and binding a demon and forcing her to do good for the world isn't out of reach for her concept.

Keep it in mind if you're planning on being more heroic minded!
