I'm having the same problem. Since the individual gameplay servers say "up" on the Server Status webpage and the issue (for me, anyway) is that I can't even get past the username/password screen, I'd assume it's the log-in server that's down.


Is there such a thing as a log-in server?

As a matter of fact, this didn't happen last night. But it wasn't for a lack of interest; I was very interested.

It was for a lack of other people.

If we can come up with a time that other people would be available, that would be great.

I've been away for a while, but those of you who remember me may know that I take my badges seriously. Recently I moved characters of the appropriate levels redside so that they could pick up mayhem missions that I could use to get the exploration badges on my badge character.

I would like to invite anybody who is interested to come along tomorrow (Thursday, 9/2) at 10:00 EDT to get some of the mayhem mission exploration badges. The missions I'll have available are:

Atlas Park—"Global Guardian" / "Global Threat" badge (lvls. 5–10)

Steel Canyon—"Steel Worker" badge (lvls. 20–25)

Independence Port—"Revolutionary" / "Tyrannical" badge (lvls. 25–30)

Talos Island—"Talon of Talos" badge (lvls. 30–35)

Brickstown—"Brickhouse" badge (lvls. 35–40)


Please post below if you would like to come along, or if one of your characters has the King's Row (lvls. 10–15), Skyway City (lvls. 15–20), or Founders' Falls (lvls. 40–45) mayhem missions and you would like to make them available to others.

I have heard some talk of a badge that is only available to characters who remain committed to being heroes or villains, and that the badge is forfeited should the character change sides. Does such a badge exist and, if so, what are the rules that govern it?

Many apologies if this has been a topic of wide discussion. I browsed the Badges forum and didn't see anything about it.

I agree completely with the OP. I prefer the pumpkin and will be disappointed if the pumpkin-transformation option is permanently denied players.

Hooray! I never get to make it to LGTFs, but I can this week! I'll bring Captain Darkspirit, my level 50 Warshade. If we do the banner event afterward, I'll probably switch to a villain.

Edit: that is, I'll switch to a villain assuming it's on the villain side.
