  1. Jamison St. Smith was born with his powers, but it wasn’t until he unlocked a hero’s car that he would know their full potential.

Jamison never learned to use his powers growing up, as his grandmother would reprimand him at the smallest display. On the small Jamaican island where he grew up, powers such as his were feared as evil and shunned by the other villagers. At 18 years of age Jamison moved to Paragon City, Rhode Island, the so called “City of Heroes” hoping to make some money with his powers. He soon realized that in a city where everyone just about has some sort of superpowers, he was just your typical citizen. So Jamison took a job as a locksmith and made a modest, but honest living. One day Jamison answered a a Triple A call. Some “hero” had locked his keys in his super car. Jamison opened the door and a booby-trap detonated. The radiation bomb was intended for the hero, but hit Jamison instead. When he woke up days later in the hospital, Jamison found that using kinetic energy, his power to manipulate temperatures could be amplified. He was even able to freeze the moisture in the air. The locksmith company fired him saying that the explosion was his fault. With no where else to turn for money, Jamison took the moniker “The Locksmith” and proceeded to rob some banks. As The Locksmith, Jamison would freeze vault door, and using his knew found control of kinetic energy, would crack it in half. After being busted by Freedom Corp Longbows during a heist, Jamison was sent to the Zig prison. While in the Zig his cell mate referred to Jamison as Dread Locksmith, because of his dreadlocked hair. Having broken out of prison with the help of Arachnos, Jamison St. Smith now seeks revenge against the hero whose car he unlocked and all the other heroes who oppose him as…
    The Dread Locksmith.

To be clear: the code for sharing costume pieces between City of Heroes and City of Villains is NOT yet in...heck, it isn't even written yet. BUT we'll do it after release - hopefully very soon after release. Then heroes can have access to the new options.

To be honest, this idea came specifically from this thread. Since people wanted the new costume options, I checked with Software - who said it could be done. Just wanted to let you know that yes, we do take suggestions!

FYI - for those who don't like the idea because villains should look different than heroes - remember that villains already have hero options. They can create a character identical to one that exists in City of Heroes.

Um I think that we've been asking you for a very long time for more costume option. Not just this thread. Jack take two steps back from your computer, walk out you office door, get in your car and goto to your local game store, and ask any one there that plays this game what they think you should do in I7:

    A. more nerfs
    b. more content (I.E. more costume options, different areas, and better A.I. You developments to the game.)
