In the end, just restrict all PvP gained powers to the PvP zones.
[/ QUOTE ]
How about this: once you zone into the PvP zones, you can't zone back out again. That would prevent powers, badges, influence, experience, inspirations, and salvage gained in those zones from ever leaving.

Carebears must die.

Which would mean the game would die in, oh, three months?
Which would mean all PvPers would die.
Mutually assured destruction.
Hey, I'll push the button. Do you have the rocks?
[/ QUOTE ]
It's just about as reasonable as half of the PvE suggestions that pop up seemingly every day. -

Aggro on the taunt auras is broken. This has been a known issue for a little while and the Developers are working to put a fix in for it.

If you had actually read the thread, you would know that's not what the OP was talking about. -
Make sure to watch this response as well. I feel that the argument was summarized very well with this response video.
I have to wonder, is there going to be a counter-documentary like there was with Farenheit/Farenhype 9/11? -
Is this an upcoming Al Gore movie trailer or something?
What the hell is this?
I can just see it now. "City of Heroes is a game about being a hero. What kind of hero runs around and beats up innocent people? Look at this friendly looking thug in a mask. Why are these "heroes" beating him up? One even has a gun! If these are heroes, pass me the villains, please."
$20 says it's a less exaggerated version of that, if this is a trailer for some kind of movie. -

why isn't blaster /ice secondary getting any help?I realise there's not many of us lol (probably why we're not even worth bothering for), but /ice is easily the worst blaster secondary out there. Just check out our 35 & 38 powers. I'd like to see more slow/recharge debuff powers in there.
You're melting my heart here Castle!
[/ QUOTE ]
I think /Ice does need some help, but I will disagree with you until I die when you say that /Ice is the worst secondary. Why?
Ice Sword, Frozen Fists, Freezing Touch, Ice Patch, Chilling Embrace, and SHIVER. My god, Shiver. Sure, our Tier-9 sucks balls, but who needs 'em? With all the slows coming from Shiver, CE, Ice Storm, Snow Storm, and all the other nasty Ice powers, we don't really need a tier-9 secondary. Although, I would love to see it be an Endurance recovery power instead. That's the big problem I have with Ice. No Endurance powers. -

No single target "INCOMMING! FIRE IN THE HOLE!" nuke to replace AT? Look at the damage! Ain't it a beatutiful thing!

I'll trade you AT for Frozen Aura. -

That's a good list, but I did notice one thing:
/em AFK doesn't give you the Newspaper (at least not anymore)-- It gives you the AFKsleep animation. -
You should rename the thread to:
Gah This is what happens at 1am when I'm stoned off my [censored] with LSD and watching the Wizard of Oz. -

Do any of you know what you are talking about. First of all Tanker secondaries are attacks and Brute secondaries are...da da da defense. Why people would want more melee range attacks for the ranged damage dealing AT I have no idea. Why someone thinks the devs have smoked enough crack to give players a High damage dealing Primary and High defense secondary is beyond me.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, 'cause a high offensive capacity and a high defensive capacity would be unbalanced. Good gods. Do you even read what you wrote? First off, as has become more than crystal-friggin-clear by now, no one was asking for high offense and high defense. Secondly, enough with the "ranged AT" already. This is a canard dredged up by people who don't actually know what the hell they're talking about. Now before you go into full-on "well such-n-such said!" mode, look at the powers in the AT. At what range is a Fire/* at when they're firing off Inferno? At what range is an Elec/* at when they fire off Short Circuit? At what range is an */Eng at when they fire off Bone Smasher? Lastly, we've already got high offensive/high defensive ATs. They're called Scrappers. They're called Brutes. These critters have existed for quite some time without causing the ever-lovin' universe to implode in on itself. So, to answer your question. Yes, we do know what we're talking about. Do you?

States,
I'm still not seeing how adding a feature for individual housing will do anything to address the current issues with a Group's collective space.
To draw an analogy, it woudl be like adding more PVE content to distract from PVP imbalances.

Go check out the "Would you play on an all PVP server" thread in the Suggestions and Ideas section. -
Blasters asking for changes = instantly being accused of wanting god mode. You might have been joking, but it's the truth.

I would like to add something to this guide. Feel free to in-sorb it.
MACROS THAT WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE A HELL OF A LOT EASIER.
If you're planning on using a Bi-form or Tri-form Peace Bringer or War Shade, here are some helpful macros that will make your transformations a lot faster.
Assume that all of your Nova powers are in tray 9, and that all of your Dwarf powers are in tray 8, whereas Human powers are in trays 1, 2, and 3. Also, this is set up for a Peacebringer, but if you're going to make a Warshade, substitute power names in for Peacebringer ones.
For Tray 1 (bottom tray of Human powers)
/macro Nova "powexec_toggle_on Bright Nova$$goto_tray 9"
This will make it so that when you click the "Nova" macro, it will switch trays to a tray filled with *only* Nova powers.
/macro Dwarf "powexec_toggle_on White Dwarf$$goto_tray 8"
Same as above, only this makes you go to tray 8, where your Dwarf powers are.
For Tray 9 (Nova Form):
/macro Human "powexec_toggle_off Bright Nova$$goto_tray 1"
For when you want to switch back to human form-- takes you back to your original tray.
/macro Dwarf "powexec_toggle_on White Dwarf$$goto_tray 8"
This is to switch directly from Nova form to Dwarf form.
For Tray 8 (Dwarf Form):
/macro Human "Powexec_toggle_off White Dwarf$$goto_tray 1"
Again, turns you back to human form and switches back to original tray.
/macro Nova "powexec_toggle_on Bright Nova$$goto_tray 9"
For when you want to switch directly from Dwarf form to Nova form.
I generally put these in slots 9 and 0 on my bottom bar, Nova form always being in 0 and Dwarf always being in 9. This makes it so you don't get confused when trying to switch forms. For example, in Tray 1, I have Macro "Dwarf" in slot 9 and "Nova" in slot 0; whereas in Tray 9 I have Macro "Dwarf" in slot 9 and Macro "Human" in slot 0, and in tray 8 I have Macro "Human" in slot 9 and Macro "Nova" in slot 0.
One thing that you have to keep in mind is that if you are defeated or mezzed in either Nova or Dwarf form, your tray will still be set for that form until you click the "Human" macro to get it back where it was.
It sounds confusing at first, but once you get it set up you will thank yourself in the long run. Trust me.

I think what he was trying to say is that they go AFK in the base, thereby making it impossible to kill... er... "arrest" them.
