  1. Still broken on my level 10 Inv/SS.

Just ran after a Hellion through an entire mission, never getting the attack message in the combat log the whole way.

    About -Res....

    [ QUOTE ]
Resist Debuffs are resisted by Damage Resistance.

If your 100 damage attack hits someone with no resists, it does 100 damage.
If that person had a 25% Resist Debuff, damage taken would be 125.

A 100 damage attack vs someone with 50% resists would take 50 damage.
If that person had a 25% Resist Debuff on them, damage taken would be 62.5.

EDIT: The above assumes the Resist Debuff is resistable. Defenders debuffs are not resistable in PvP.

    Ah ha!

So in most instances, the 90% resistance person will take 13 points of damage from a 100 point attack while being debuffed.

In PvP, Mr. 90% resists would take 40 damage from a 100 point attack, because the 30% -res wouldn't be knocked down to 3%.

*blink* Ok, no wonder I was confused. I was testing it with a defender in the arena *blush*

    About -Res....

Would have to test, but I'm fairly certain that all resist numbers are added together and THEN multipled by the damage. Including -res.

So the person in your example would probably take 40 damage.

Have no numbers to back that up, but it's what makes the most sense to me from what I've seen.
  4. Dark Miasma has a hold.

Stalkers get a chance (just a chance mind you) to crit on targets that are held or asleep. But not stunned. No chance to crit on stunned, immoblized or knocked down target.

    *The more you know*

    Ditto.
  6. Heroes! Let's not get into an arguement about the proper spelling of things! We've got a city to save!

...Just as soon as the threat shows up.

    Tanker Update

    Wow.

    Just... wow.

    Thank you Statesman.

It always impresses me how you're willing to change the way the game works a little rather than just try to shoehorn in a fix by flat-out boosting damge or swapping around exsisting stats.

    This sounds excellent.
