Exactly what I was hoping to hear, thanks!
  2. If I remove a person from my global friend list, does it also remove me from their list? Do they get a message or notification that I have removed them?

    Thank you!
  4. My friend and I are jammin some games and he wants to try out CoH (never played before). How can I get him a free trial? He has already downloaded the game. I've played the game for a few years, but I've never dealt with the trial accounts before. Do I need to get some special trial account invite?
  5. I don't think any question coming from a new player is "dumb" We were all new at one point, and not everything is as obvious to one person as it is to another.

You can get to the Hollows by pulling up your map, press "m" on your keyboard. Your character will show up as a green arrow, that's "where you are" in Atlas. Look around the perimeter of the zone to find a red circle that identifies the Hollows. If you click your mouse on this red circle and close the map, you will have a yellow target point you can follow.

Yeah, ummm, this statement makes absolutely no sense.

But to answer your question, yes you can have 3 different procs in a power, and there is a chance that all 3 will go off at the same time. I do this with my Earth/Storm controller with 2-3 procs in a couple powers and the extra damage "can be" very noticeable. I'd recommend it for your brute. Heck, why not copy him over to the Test server and give it a shot before you commit on Live. Procs are great in AOE powers.
  7. Which arcs are Hall of Fame arcs?

Edit: Bah, nevermind, I see you can sort out the hall of fame arcs with the ratings tab.
  8. I had hoped I could edit the links to add/remove something and have them point back to the same threads. It's really going to suck to search them out and replace them that way. I have probably 50+ links saved.
  9. I just noticed that since the big forum change, all of my bookmarks/favorites links are broken. Is there an easy way to repair them, or am I SOL?

Farmers are stupid and ruin my gaming experience.

They ruined it... how exactly? Because they exist? Well good news for you, they've always been there.

Hard to find a good team because of farmers. Hard to find a good TF without noob farmers dropping after two missions or not knowing how to team effectively. Blind invites all the time no matter what my search comments say. Etc....Stupid farmers.

[/ QUOTE ]Funny... I heard all the same complaints BEFORE "AE ruined the game". And I still have no trouble. AE has just changed the location from PI/Grandville.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yup, it's even worse now with AE.

  12. It's not really a concern....who really cares except the farmers that are exploiting the game?

    STF Glitched?

    [ QUOTE ]
    [ QUOTE ]
We ran STF last night, and although we had no problems finishing it, I did notice that the repairmen seemed to be a little more aggressive than usual. The towers took a little bit longer to take down as they were healing faster, but by no means was it difficult or impossible.

[/ QUOTE ] What type of AoE/DoT precautions were you using to take the repairmen down?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I can't remember what everyone's power sets were, but I do remember a fire blaster using...bonfire? I think that is the power that was sending the repairmen flying off the tower. I was on my Ill/Rad so I didn't have much for AoE myself. I was targeting the repairmen and taking them out as single targets as fast as I could whenever I saw them fly from the towers.

Hmm, with a Supercomputer, I would be seriously short on energy...is there a better option?

[Edit] Unfortunately a bigger room is not an option with my base design. So it looks like I'll have to go with the Supercomputer and upgrade my energy as well.

    [/ QUOTE ]
A main energy device (Power Crystal / Basic Generator) + 2 energy aux (Crystal Focus / Circuit Breaker) provides enough power (1,300 energy) for a supercomputer, 11 telepads, 21 beacons, a couple of invention tables and a Salvage Vault.

    Edit:
Take a look at this base:
    http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g1..._isometric.jpg

It has 10 telepads, 20 beacons, a supercomputer, and some other stuff requiring power. 1 Energy main+2 aux was enough to keep it all powered.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Ah, yes, I was figuring an additional 500 energy (on top of the 820 I am currently using) for the supercomputer, and not deducting the saved energy by selling my current control items.

  19. I've maxed out my control limit with 1 Mainframe and 4 Databases in my control room. I currently have 7 Telepads with 2 beacons each. My control consumption is 255 out of 250.

I'd like to add another Telepad, 2 Beacons, a Personal Storage Vault, and a Basic Reclaimator. So it looks like I need at least 75 or so more control points.

Which control upgrade should I go with?

I am at 820 out of 1300 Energy from my Basic Generator and two Circuit Breakers if that matters at all.
