Am I correct in saying that, in Issue 7 (even with the nerf), To Hit debuffs will still be better? Or does that only hold true for Radiation Infection? What are the base numbers for RI? Would you mind doing a similar graph for Darkest Night? Pretty please?

An ounce of debuffs are worth 5 metric tons of heals.

Actually, I think Defenders get a bigger boost from Vigilance if you're dead.
So... this could really be seen as a nerf to Vigilance!

We'll be putting in a check that prevents "one shotting"; if anything occurs within a fraction of second that brings a player from 100% Hit Points down to 0, we instead give the player 1% Hit Points.

This may be the "1-shotting fix," but I don't believe it will fix the real reason why 1-shotting is unfair and disliked: lack of reaction time.
I'd really like to seem some data from the Devs on this tweak, specifically the percentage of people who died 3 seconds, 5 seconds, and 10 seconds after their 1-shot death was prevented. Given that data, I think we'd see whether this was a true fix, or one to placate players while leaving something the Devs see as okay in the game. -
High-level Defender looking for a SuperGroup as a source of constant and easy teaming, but no pressure.

No wonder my Dark/Dark sucks in PVP.

My first toon was a Defender, and I can see how this guide would be useful, especially for players coming from another archetype. That may be even more difficult than starting out as a Defender. One suggestion, though: instead of abbreviating powers, please type them out. Even as a Defender involved in the forums, I had no idea what EF, LI, or RI are. I think your point can be missed because we don't know what those powers do, or even their full names. If you're intending this as a beginner's guide, you might also want to lose some of the other abbreviations like AoE and AT. Great guide, though.

Winza, is there anyway to execute a bind when you activate a power? I know that it is possible to execute a power (as well as other things) with a bind, and that a macro sits in the tray just like a power. However, is there any way for the macro to take on the icon of a power? What I would like to do is display a message when I activate my toggle power, Darkest Night, but I don't want to assign a key to it, and I don't want an undistinguishable gray circle sitting on my tray in place of Darkest Night. Am I just too picky?

This really is an amazing guide, Blackest Night, and ED hasn't hurt it nearly as much as you think. While some of the numbers for Enhancement effectiveness are now incorrect, what your guide really does is give a good sense of the powers and their capabilties. I have a 38 D3, and only discovered your guide today! Already its clarifying my end-game, and its also helped with some more immediate decisions I have to make.
One thing you might want to talk about, though, is the relative weakness until lvl 25 or so. Of course, this is true with all archetypes and builds, but I feel its especially severe with D3s. Powers like Fearsome Star, Dark Servant, and Petryifying Gaze come later in the game. Up until then, the D3 has great difficulty soloing. -
What is your current position on the alleged Stalker dominance in PVP? Do you believe Stalkers are too good in PVP, or that PVP is appropriately balanced? What might you do to address complaints either way?
