I've seen both ways. It appears if you hide before they spawn they only run to where you were. If you dont hide quick enuff an they spawn they home in on you no matter what you do.

I finally found it. Too much reading lately.

I quit playin last fall when WoW came out an now I'm back to get ready for CoV. I'm not a hardcore player and my blaster is only a 31 energy/elec blaster. I've read and read this week trying to catch up on all the changes but still have couple of questions.

Is energy/elec still viable as mostly solo? All I see on the boards are the energy/energy blasters. Does anyone have a link to a decent template handy?

total newbie here who just started playin last week. Only got 14 Sun nite by the hardest after dyin numerous times tryin to figure out how to beat a red bos.

I'm a blaster an the +1 stuff is fine EXCEPT when its the boss.

What I ened up doin this weekend was to get what? 3 missions max clear them out cept for the bosses an that was usually put me close to level. Id then just go roamin the citys til I leveled then go back an finish the missions with a nice even orange boss who still was not a pushover.


Figured I'd throw a real newbies view out there. I started a scrapper but hes only lvl5 so thats not a good judge of whats goin on.

Normal mobs its fine but get rid of the red bosses at least for us n00bs.

I died numerous times this weekend tryin to kill a red boss on my 'solo' missions.

Now I clear the mission pop outside ask for help to kill the boss. If I cant get help I go wander the city for mobs to kill til I can get help.
