I've added a lot of stuff to the calendar, including the rikti invasions and the two planned Double XP Events, winter event, etc.

I've also worked rather hard on the website, fixing the registration process and other stuff, so we might as well officially launch it within a few days.

and yes, any non-smurfite is more than welcome to add the calendar and/or use the website. Who knows, You might join the blue side of the force...

I have created a google calendar for the #Forum Smurfites, so feel free to add it to yours. (If you don't have one, you can still look at this one, but you really should check out all the google tools, they're great)

I would really appreciate some help with this calendar, so anyone that wanna post events etc, just send me a tell and we'll set it up

I'm also in the process of remaking my badge site, merging it with the Dead on Arrival site. Yesterday we decided to go another route. The Jommla based website will become a #Forum Smurfite website instead. I'm not registering a URL for in until it's ready (Gallery, forum, community builder, syndicated CoX news etc still missing), but feel free to check the work in progress at http://doa.team.pro

Any Smurfite that wanna help with the website, or just wanna be able to post on it, feel free to send me a tell and we'll set you up.

Although we mostly get things started through the channel, getting base raids, mothership raids, hami raids etc going we seem to need a more organised way. All the SG websites I've seen tend to be created and forgotten, but maybe a coalition website can reach a critical number of users to stay active?

Of course, I was the one originally suggesting such a command, but I don't care who gets the credit as long as they're actually doing something about this. Right now I'm almost jumping up'n'down. I'm so happy! (Mostly actually have to do with all the QoL things added to I12, but...)

I know poor Smurfnof will be rather happy to hear this, since he's been constalntly out of body since I12 hit live! Yes, truly constantly, it's a joke that's not funny anymore really!

Hey, it seems like I can post again, so.. finally:

I have to agree with both sides here.

On one hand I love the opportunity to actually play an arachnos minion, that we're finally getting VEATs, hoping for some great story arcs (that we know nothing at all about and they're the MOST important imho).

We also know very little about the effects of the powers, and much may change since it's not even on test server yet. Whining now seems a bit premature.

On the other hand there is one very valid point: When the hero epic ATs came, well, let's face it: Kheldians are DIFFERENT! VERY different from any other AT. Yes even twith the kheldians a lot is reused (anims etc) but everything is still slightly different, not just the fab sounds.

Looking at what we know of villain epics, that seems to become a disappointment. Costumes are already there, anims, powers. It looks like, ONCE AGAIN, villain side isn't regarded as a real, import part of the game. Looking at the player base I understand that, but they could've gone the other way:

"Hey, there's too few villains, how can we boost the interest for the villain side?".

Now, I'm biased since I rarely play hero-side, but that very valid point sends me into a d00000m spiral!
