Its not the first time the stupid store is REALLY not european friendly, but they 'fixed' it by giving tiny links under each product (US version available here).
However, all the boost-packs and pre-order GR dont have such link, i can only select the Europe version. Even if i log in to my US account (as i am now), i still only see the Europe ones. From Aion (i original have a US Aion account) support i got the reply that 'US products are not designed for European players', playerbase wise for Aion might be right but on City of Heroes its kinda lame.
So anyone have the links to the US booster packs and pre-order GR, along with the Mac Special pack? So i can pimp up my US accounts finaly. -

Because they didn't lie. At the time, there were NO PLANS for incentives at retail stores. This changed later when Gamestop expressed interest in a promotion for Going Rogue, and NCSoft/Paragon Studios saw the value in using it as a way to attract NEW CUSTOMERS, something that people constantly ***** about that NCSoft isn't doing enough of. This is why the new enhancements are designed specifically with new people in mind.

Afaik, europe would not get any box-sales right? So basicly, we cant join up this pre-oder bonus thing? (i aint gonna pay a freaking 30 dollar for shipment handling).

I think you answered your own question. Blasters, controllers, etc can soft-cap or come close to soft-capped defenses. Do you really want people to be able to slot heavily for both defense and resist?
But why is it sooo easy to get huge defense, but its plain impossible to even get 15% extra resist on 1 (!!) type? You even get more damage bonus from sets then resist.
From the high range IO's, there is only a hand full of setbonus that actualy give resist, but often so little or in such 'weird' power-abilities (taunt, def-debuff etc), without gimping your character its kinda impossible.
Is it really that gamebreaking to make it possible to give people say 10-15% resist? -
Be it Firefox, be it IE 6 7 or 8, non of them i can stay logged in longer then a day.
The old boards were annoying with the 'form not valid' or the plain timeout, but now i cant even normaly reply posts, because i have to keep logging in. Even after i login, i get the same login screen again.
My temporary files and cookies are cleared, but even a fresh installed computer i face the same problems. Maybe it has to do with my 2 accounts? (they have identical names, but one on the US side, other on the EU side).
I now used my US account, i was lucky i could stay logged in long enough to make this post.
The old boards were bad, but i dont know if these are that much better. (why ironicly, this is the only VBB board i have this problem with?) -
Actualy, EU sounds better then NA to be honest.
The good side is, i can stalk and spam myself

I finally got the ati drivers working by rolling back to 8.11 vista64 and checking both opengl options in CCC, otherwise I had some flicker. One of the selections is missing in the 8.12 drivers which leads me to believe this is an opengl issue which will probably only get weirder.
Now that I've got things working I don't know what I was really hoping for, I'm still getting "stuttering". I guess I was expecting that it was related to something I had running on my vista install, apparently not.

I initinaly started with the 8.11, but it was even worse back then. Prerelease WDDM made it a bit 'less' flickery, but it still is unplayable.
But, since other games seem to run extremely well on Windows 7, i put CoH in the corner for a while
