    Chapter VIII: Dead or Alive

    -~NeoRadiation~-

NeoRadiation’s helicopter landed in the hero base of Bloody Bay. In the helicopter with him was a young heroine named Kat Fury.

    “Are you ready?” asked NeoRadiation.
“No,” said Kat Fury. “But I don’t have an option. Let’s go.”

NeoRadiation and Kat Fury jumped out of the helicopter and looked around. There were many other helicopters landed, and others arriving. There were hundreds of heroes. In command of all of them was none other than NeoRadiation.

NeoRadiation hovered high enough so all the heroes can see. He waited for all the heroes to arrive at the base before giving his speech.

“Statesman and the Freedom Phalanx declined their invitation,” shouted NeoRadiation, so all could hear him. “They are more concerned with the legal matters involved in the destruction of Portal Corps. They chose to wait before making hasty decisions and retaliating. But that’s what makes us different. Its what makes us bolder, braver and stronger.”

The hundreds of heroes smiled and nodded, looking up to the leader.

“They have attacked us, they have kidnapped us, they have killed us,” shouted NeoRadiation. “And now its time to fight back!”

    The heroes applauded.

“The mastermind is Lord Recluse, but the culprit is Radevil,” continued NeoRadiation. “She is also holding a hero named Silent Spy captive. She is responsible for the nuclear attack on Portal Corps! Find her and bring her back.”

    NeoRadiation paused.

“Dead or alive,” he said coldly. “Now go!”

The heroes broke off into small groups and scattered off through Bloody Bay. NeoRadiation joined a small group of people.

He looked around at his team. Tribal Axe, Gravanator, Surgetron, Kat Fury and a biker chick.

“Yo,” said the biker chick. “What’s goin’ on?”
    “I’m NeoRadiation…,” started NeoRadiation.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” said the biker chick. “I’m Dinah Might. I don’t really care who the hell the rest of you are.”

Tribal Axe and Gravanator looked at each other, rolling their eyes.

“Now are we just goin’ to stand here or are we going to go?” asked Dinah impatiently.
“Let’s go, team,” said NeoRadiation, leading the group into a swampy forest.

“Stop,” said Kat Fury. “I hear something.”

The entire team froze and listened carefully. There were sounds of footsteps and rustling bushes from behind a few trees.
A blast of radiation passed by Gravanator’s head, missing him by an inch, and struck the tree behind him. A large, green alien came out of from behind a tree. The group of heroes ducked and hid behind a bush or a tree.

“What the hell is that?” asked Tribal Axe quietly, so the alien won’t hear him.
    “A Shivan,” said NeoRadiation.
    “Where’s Dinah?” whispered Surgetron.

The group of heroes looked around, but Dinah Might was not there. They turned back to the Shivan and saw Dinah behind it. Dinah punched the Shivan in the back hard and the alien fell to the ground.

“That’ll teach them to mess with me,” said Dinah proudly, standing over the fallen Shivan.

Tribal Axe, Gravanator, Kat Fury, Surgetron and NeoRadiation ran towards Dinah and cognratulated her. Kat Fury quickly put her hand over Gravanator’s mouth before he could say something.

“There are more of them,” she whispered, putting her finger over her lips to keep them quiet.

A group of twenty Shivans came out of the woods, surrounding the heroes.

    “Run!” shouted NeoRadiation.
“I’d rather fight,” said Kat Fury.

Three long and sharp metal claws came out of Kat Fury’s fists as she leapt at one of the Shivans. She scratched the Shivan with her claws in mid-air, cutting the Shivan into pieces. Dinah Might charged at one of the Shivans and punched it in the gut, causing the Shivan to fall the ground instantly. However, as one Shivan fell, another one appeared.

NeoRadiation and Gravanator tried to run, but the Shivans blocked them from passing through. NeoRadiation blasted a bolt of radiation at them, but it didn’t affect them. They were made out of radiation, so he was useless against them.

    “We’re trapped,” said NeoRadiation.
“Not exactly,” said Gravanator with a smirk.

Gravanator lifted NeoRadiation off the ground quickly and tossed him into the air, sending him far away from the battle.

    -~Tribal Axe~-

Tribal Axe, Dinah Might, Surgetron, Gravanator and Kat Fury continued to fight off the Shivans. There were at least a hundred of them now, but they were weak compared to these heroes.

    “Help!” cried a voice.

Tribal Axe chopped his way through the Shivans to find who needed help. It was Kat Fury, being carried by three Shivans, pulling at her limbs.

    “Help me!” she screamed.

Tribal Axe ran towards her, but four Shivans blocked his way. One of the Shivans blasted his axe with a bolt of radiation. The axe fell out of Tribal Axe’s hand and landed on the ground, out of his reach. Tribal Axe wanted to try burning them with the fire around his body, but he knew it was too dangerous to do in a forest. It can cause a wildfire.

“We need backup,” shouted Tribal Axe.

There were the sounds of an assault rifle from nearby.

“What was that?” asked Kat Fury, still being held by the Shivans.

A bullet passed by Tribal Axe’s head.

“Duck!” he shouted. Tribal Axe, Dinah Might, Surgetron and Gravanator all jumped onto the floor, trying to dodge the bullets. As a bullet struck a Shivan, the Shivan exploded into bits.

The rapid bullets were coming from all directinos, quickly defeating many of the Shivans as the group of heroes took cover. Tribal Axe turned at Kat Fury, trying to break free from the Shivan who had captured her.
Suddenly, the Shivan was shot and exploded. Kat Fury fell to the ground, face down. Tribal Axe crawled over to her and looked at her. There was a bullet in the back of her neck. The bullet must have gone through the Shivan and into her neck.

    “She’s dead,” he said.

Tribal Axe looked up to find the shooters, but nobody was there.

    -~Figi~-

Figi ran through the woods of Bloody Bay. She ran faster than ever, her life depended on it. She quickly turned her head and looked at the group of Arachnos chasing her.
The Arachnos fired their guns at Figi as she dived behind a tree. She sat down and leaned against the tree, breathing deeply and heavily. The Arachnos were out to kill her.
She poked her head out from behind the tree to see a the Arachnos soldiers walking towards her. Figi summoned a small vine to grow from the ground and wrap around them. The vine then tied them against a tree.

“Why are you out to kill me?” she asked, beginning her interrogation.

“You are supposed to be dead!” shouted one of the Arachnos men.

“What do you mean?” Figi asked, making the vine get tighter, torturing the Arachnos.

“Radevil,” started another of the Arachnos. “She was supposed to kill you.”

Figi felt as if a knife had stabbed her in the back. She stood up straight and froze in shock.

“Liar,” she said coldly. She made the vines tighten even more until she heard the bark of the tree begin to crack. As the vines got tighter, the tree eventually broke in half, breaking the Arachnos mens’ backs, killing them.

Figi sat down on a log, thinking.

‘Radevil is my friend,’ thought Figi. ‘Why would she want to kill me?’

The more she thought about it, the more it made sense. Radevil is a high member of the Arachnos now. Radevil must be stopped at all costs.

    -~Dinah Might~-

Dinah Might, Tribal Axe, Surgetron and Gravanator sat around the large hole. Tribal Axe and Dinah Might lowered Kat Fury into the hole and then they began to bury her.

As Dinah put the dirt over Kat Fury’s body, she looked at the other heroes. Their heads were down, upset.

‘They barely even knew her,’ thought Dinah.

Nonetheless, she also felt upset. In a sense, it was out of respect and honor. Kat Fury died trying to protect others.

“We better get moving,” said Dinah after burying the fallen hero.

“Just like that?” asked Tribal Axe.

“She died on a mission,” said Dinah. “We should at least finish it for her.”

Dinah lead the rest of the group into the woods. Dinah turned around to find Tribal Axe still at the grave.

    “Yo, you comin’?” asked Dinah.

“I’ll stay here until someone finds me,” said Tribal Axe. “I’ll catch you guys later.”

Dinah shrugged and lead the group further into the woods. A little less than a mile later, Dinah spotted something behind a few trees.

    “What’s that?” asked Dinah.

“I’ll go check it out,” said Surgetron, walking towards it. He went behind a few trees, where he was unseen. A few seconds later, his body was tossed through the air, knocking into Dinah and Gravanator.

A large werewolf came from behind the trees.

    -~Werehound~-

Werehound stood infront of a group of heroes in the middle of the woods. He recognized one of them, Surgetron. Werehound charged at the biker chick and jumped at her.

“Dinah, watch out!” shouted Surgetron, blasting a bolt of electricity at Werehound.

Werehound was struck in midair and was sent flying in the opposite direction. He flew into a tree and got back up as blood trickled down his lip. He let out a mighty roar and rushed at Surgetron at high speed.

“Not today, puppy,” said Surgetron, blasting an even stronger bolt at Werehound.

The bolt struck Werehound right in the chest, stopping him from moving entirely.

Werehound fell to the floor, frozen and paralyzed. He couldn’t move anything. He felt his heart beating fast than ever. He felt as if it were going to explode or burn up. Werehound tried to make a noise to beg for help, but no sound could come out. Everything began to look faint as he heard the heroes around him talking.

“Why isn’t he getting’ up?” asked the girl.

“Probably a trap,” said Surgetron. “Let’s leave him while we can.”

Werehound watched as the heroes walked away, leaving him to die.

    -~Radevil~-

Radevil stood in a highest room in an abandoned building in Bloody Bay. The room had one light bulb, hanging above her prisoner. She watched out the broken window, through the broken blinds, as heroes battled and searched for her. She grinned and turned to her pirsoner, Silent Spy.

“Are you ready to die now, Silent Spy?” asked Radevil with a smirk.

Silent Spy lifted her head up.

“Ready as ever,” she said. Her face showed no fear nor worries.

“Let’s get this over with already,” she said, picking up a long sharp knife from the broken desk. “Fast and easy.”

Radevil stood behind Silent Spy, tied down to the chair securely. She put the blade to Silent Spy’s neck and gently cut her throat a bit.

“Just a sample of true pain,” said Radevil. Silent Spy began to cry, but attempted to hold it in.

Radevil drew the knife closer to Silent Spy’s neck, ready to make the final cut.

“Good bye, Silent Spy,” said Radevil. “Any last words?”

    “Yes,” said Silent Spy.

“And what would that be?” she asked, looking at Silent Spy.

    “Look out,” said Silent Spy.

Radevil turned her head to the mirror to see NeoRadiation blasting a bolt of radiation through the window.

    -~Surgetron~-

Surgetron, Dinah Might and Gravanator further trecked through the woods. After an hour, they came to the exit of the woods.

    “Damn,” said Dinah. “No success.”

“Well, she didn’t have to be in the woods,” said Surgetron.

“Who are you looking for?” asked a voice.

Surgetron turned around, looking for the speaker.

    “Who said that?” demanded Surgetron.

“Who are you looking for?” asked the voice again.

“A villain,” said Surgetron. “Named Radevil. Do you know her?”

Surgetron, Dinah Might and Gravnator got closer together, ready for an attacker or a battle.

“I’ve heard of her,” said the voice with a laugh.

“Do you know where she is?” asked Surgetron.

“No,” said the voice. A vine wrapped around the group of heroes, continually wrapping its way around their body till it wrapped around each one of their necks.

“But I’d bet you can help me find her,” said Figi, coming out of the woods.

    -~Silent Spy~-

As the powerful bolt of radiation flew towards Silent Spy and Radevil, Silent Spy smiled. She placed her feet firmly on the ground and began to tip the chair to the side. She then pushed her feet off the ground, tossing her into the air with the chair, getting out of the way.

The old wooden chair fell on the ground and broke, letting Silent Spy free. However, her hands were still tied behind her back. She looked up at Radevil, who had also dodged the attack.

NeoRadiation flew through the window, sending broken glass through the air, all over the room.

“We need back up!” shouted Radevil. The door opened as the body of an Arachnos troop fell inside.

“Who else is with you?” demanded Radevil.

“Nobody,” said NeoRadiation, also confused on who killed the Arachnos troop.

A large figure blocked the light from the outside hallway. As the figure walked into the room, it became more defined. The figure was bizarre, with many spidery legs coming from its back.

“Oh, crap,” gasped Silent Spy as Lord Recluse walked into the room.

“Radevil, you have failed your mission,” said Lord Recluse. “Now, all three of you must die.”

    My two cents:

People are spectating at FC. One of them is your bounty. Walk up to them.

    Ask:
"Hey, you are my bounty, can I just get the kill?"

They often say, "Sure" because they can just come right back.

If they say "No", then CHALLENGE THEM to a FC match.

If they say "No" to that, then:

    A) Suck it up
    B) Keep asking them
    C) Explain to them

DO NOT ATTACK WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION.

In other areas, feel free to attack them. Not in FC. Just not there. Simple as that.

    [/ QUOTE ]

thats teh problem right there though SS. why would i be a griefer for attacking someone in a PVP zone? cause that person says so? cause that person believes that he can sit in a PVP zone, that you are warned about you will be attacked?

its not so much that FC is the problem. the problem is that when people are on that roof they think that they should be immune to any attacks.

it that is the case whats to stop this. my tank is on his way to FC. villians are camping the base. they tp me into a swarm and decimate me. i call them griefers because they are interrupt my enjoyment of the zone to go to fight club.

so what is the difference, i want to participate in FC, does it matter that i am not on the roof yet and just on my way there? if it does matter than why? i am still in a pvp zone and free to be attacked?

    [/ QUOTE ]

There is a difference between PvP and harrassment.

PvP is "Bam, I killed you. Good bye."

Harassment is "I've killed you once. Now I'll do it again just for fun while I get no bounty or rep....but you have to suffer with me."
