Yeah, its unfortunate there's no correlation between quality of build and quality of player.

To be fair a lot of some of the best players I know have only generic IO or moderately priced IO builds, what makes them stand out is their willingness to listen and learn, do their best and play as part of a team.

That said, great players with awesome builds can be more than the sum of their parts and can regularly pull off feats that make me go "daaaaaamn"

Level 17 is a hell of a level.

And yet some of us still strive for excellence rather than settling on being mediocre and thinking they're the ****.

My scrapper Fated Circle from 32-50, Lie my fire/sonic corr from 1-35ish, my arch/ta from 38-50. Plus monies and a few purples.

As much as I throw hate at Elec/SD for being overrated, it is for scrappers than Brutes. AAO works off base damage which is much higher for scrappers than brutes, plus the new Shield Charge buff..scrappers win SD.

Low pet damage cap also hurts brutes for L.Rod and SC, not so much an issue for scrappers.

SD brutes are still teh pwn, its just SD scrappers are pwnier.

So you're still a regular reader, that's nice.

Well uh I can't say I'll be available to do this two weeks from now but I'm also p. sure you don't need 2 weeks notice for this. I would be willing to help out with this regardless. I do think you could just ask in BMT if anyone is up for it, as long as you're discerning with what people can bring you should be able to pull it off. Pretty easy badge.

Stray is right, beer really is an acquired taste. I'm spoiled by living in Europe and having had a Belgian gf so I'm all about yummy beers like Jupiler and Duvel (which are bog-standard in BE) but hard to find anywhere else.

To be honest, given the choice I'd rather drink cider, a nice cool Magners or Bulmers (I'm not a plant I swear) is much nicer to quench than a beer, but beer can hit the spot. As a general recommendation, if you're gonna try beer, like coffee, try it with an open mind and try all sorts to see what you do and don't like.

As an aside note, if you've come from a family of beer drinkers wine is of course an option. It generally is 2-3 times as strong (alcohol content wise) compared to beer but can be much nicer. Bear in mind the fact that both crappy beers and crappy wines can be tolerable if drunk at the right temperature (if a beer is cold it can often nullify whatever nastiness there is and ditto for rose/white wines).

Redo the old hairstyles, rework resistance bonuses in IOs, make IO bonuses work at all levels, turn chance for KB powers into KD or 100% because unreliable KB is worst song played on ugliest guitar, take the damage bonus out of Painbringer and give it recharge bonus instead, nerf empaths because it would be hilarious, make sassing me a bannable offence, MERGE THE MARKETS ALREADY, do whatever it is the Coming Storm is because dang its been long enough dude.

p.s please let the Coming Storm be a rework of the Shard making it coop
