I would have thought that L.Rod would hit for more since its in a primary set compared to SC which is in a secondary.

Quote:Just so you know the Mothership raid has been duoed with a fire/cold corr and son/rad corr on the Champion server....the Mothership (smallest team we've done it with is 5 just to see if we could--haven't tried "pushing" it yet)

Seconding what Tonality said about going for a mid-range recharge build. It'll be cheaper and getting good uptime on Energize will go some way to keeping you on your feet. A lot of your mitigation will also come from knocking everything down with Footstomp, so more recharge helps there too. For the time being I would go with a recharge/+hp build (to maximise your hp/sec from Energize) and eat purple insp as you need to, they drop like candy anyway.
Recharge is pretty important for SS/Elec and its hard to get good recharge with a defense build on the cheap so I'd make that a future goal.
To that end, in the way of sets I'd recommend Doctored Wounds for Energize since they're not too expensive and give good bonuses and a Force Feedback proc in Footstomp. They're dead cheap nowadays and give a nice bonus to your recharge when it goes off (which in Footstomp is pretty often in big spawns). -
Check my sig for another cold guide if you want some more information. Its written from the perspective of a cold corr but you might still find it helpful.
The more colds the better -
Why do you think this?
edit: I'd also like Poison for Corrs. I think it'd need some tweaking but the debuffs are damn nice. I am also ashamed to admit if corrs got FF (even though I've already got a cold and cold spanks ff) I'd make a fire/ff corr. I already made up a rough build for one in Mids just to mess around with.

Cobalt we are led to believe Mod08 gives a mean footrub, confirm/deny?

Get a mod to invite you and sit back, relax, and let piping hot drama be pumped directly into your arteries.

OH and to say that Silas is almost too giddy in this thread...yuck...thoughtUwereAmeaniepants! -
Oooh, old toggle IH is a good one. Just so's ya know RoA doesn't have end drain (other than its basic end cost) its like Full Auto.

You might want to swap the dam/end for the proc in the posi set in Howl, swap the generic accuracy for a range. Its accurate enough as is, especially with the Mortar going so what you want to do is max the damage with the proc and a larger cone.
Consider putting a Devastation proc in Mortar and a Lockdown proc in PGT. These two together will hold a lot of stuff, giving you more room to breathe and put down Trip Mine.
I'm not sure what your feeling is on nukes, but with Trip Mine and no easy way to mitigate the crash (Power Sink, CP) I would skip it. If you want to blow stuff apart Trip Mine does the job, without a crash. While the crash isn't so bad because Traps doesn't have a lot of toggles, I personally would skip the nuke.
Why Focused Accuracy? You've got good acc slotted in your powers as well as +39% from bonuses and its a huge end hog.
A friend of mine has a sonic/traps and swears by Sirens Song for laying down Trip Mine. Its a great power and Fortunata Hypnosis is a very cheap set. Even if you don't go for Fort Hyps, Call of the Sandman is also a great set.
Last thing, in the day and age of -kb IOs, why acrobatics? You've got 4 spots (ffg, Maneuvers, Scorpion and cj) to put Karmas in. Acrobatics is a huge end hog and not really needed unless you want the high protection for pvp. -
Nah, if you get Kahlan what you have to do is make him form up TFs that are a)not speedy and b) take over an hour to form

Just got back from seeing this with my sister.
Phenomenal. Story is fairly predictable, but eff my ay its a stunning movie. Would recommend seeing it in 3d because while the glasses were a little uncomfortable it really, really adds to the enjoyment of the movie.
And if I can see it in 3d in Switzerland people in the States have no excuse
Shame my date didn't put out, but hey, thats life right? -

I'll put myself up for auction.

If we got the defender version I'd probably make one, wouldn't bother if we got the blaster version.

Well damn, I'll have to use a bind. Not that it bothers me, just surprised. I assumed a bind would work the same way as a macro. Learn something new everyday, cheers Trickshooter

3. Greater Fire Sword
4. Psychic Shockwave
5. Fulcrum Shift
6. Shield Charge
7. Transference
8. Benumb
9. Knockout Blow
Kahlan Secondary:
1. Indomitable Will
2. Deflection
3. Mind Link
4. Dispersion Bubble

8. Sonic Dispersion
9. Rise to the Challenge
Kahlan Epic:

edit: what would also be funny is a defensive set with RttC, Invinc, AAO, Drain Psyche, Eclipse, Fulcrum Shift and Soul Drain. Set to x8, never look back.
edit the second: hell, throw Dark Regen and Heat Loss in there too, make it a full 9 powers -
Yes, but it would be nice, wouldn't it?

One good kin can damage-cap a brute, as long as there are reasonably large spawns.
As I said for me it boils down to one fact: a brute can be buffed to the same defensive levels as a tanker, a tanker cannot be buffed to the same offensive output as a brute. -
Sonic isn't very solo-friendly, but it can definitely solo more easily/better than Empathy. All Emp brings to the table solo-wise are the auras and the PBAoE heal.
I'd rather have a res debuff to kill stuff faster, resistances and mez protection for soloing.
