Right, just managed to get it. 2 Speed Boosts, sprint and Combat Jumping made it very easy. (47 seconds).
Think I'm going to make sure that my second builds have six slotted sprint, combat jumping and anything else which will increase my speed, just for this event.
[/ QUOTE ]
I managed to get 24.67 seconds without being buffed. Mind you i did have SS and CJ on.Only took about 10 mins for the 3 badges too -
[ QUOTE ]
Don't think in terms of more defense, as you're a kin, just take cj, kb prot it and never look back.

From what I can see it looks alright.
Only advice i can offer to change is more Acc in your attacks. I'd suggest removing the end red or the recharge from each of your attacks and add a second acc enh. Also, if you do indeed decide to drop the recharge enh, then I'd suggest in removing jab at lvl 49 and put Hasten in, it then covers recharge over all your powers including the heal. And with aid self, imo you dont need the interrupt red, 3 heal and 3 recharge should do fine. the interrupt window is 1 second, which hardly ever happens in pve.
Hope this helps -
Could always get a team or 2 of blasters with a snipe and EM secondary for boost range (270 ft range iirc?), buff them with damage buffs and snipe the hell out of the healing Mitos. That would certainly change they playing field a little bit

Third Match:
Dark/Sonic
Vs
Cold/Sonic
Kind of getting repetitive with the /sonic, but I love the cold/sonic setup
Errr...Fight! *dives out of the way* -
Sonic/sonic - 4
Dark/Sonic - 10
Dark has a pet that fears, and i hate fear in pvp

The changes affect my heals more than yours

Hurray! you finally said something that makes sense. You are correct in saying that, which supports my statement that the changes affect players in different ways depending on what they play.
You seem to forget that my opinion is from my own PoV. You think your opinion is right, I know mines right, because it has come from me. I can see that is something you are failing to grasp.

Just as you assumed I was talking about playing a different game when I actually meant AT. I'll say no more on that

Btw SweetChilli, thanks for brightening my day -
If you can kill it then fight it. Mathematics do not need to involved in a game thats designed to be fun. Some people may think that they get more exp for fighting higher lvls, and in some cases they're right. I've been in a few teams that have cut through +3s at the nearly the same rate as same lvl/+1s. If its not the case of they're actually getting more exp, then leave them to it. They are still having fun doing what they want to do at the end of the day.

Well, your opion is wrong. FACT!
I never said that it has effected me the most. Where did I state that? I never even said anything to imply it. Of course that statement of Rent holds truth. Thats what testing is about. I see what my troller was like beforehand and I see what it is like now. You want a round of applause for working that one out? I have to say that telling me to go play a different game was sooooo constructive. Ever listen to your own advice or do you just start typing when mammy or daddy logs you in?
I never stated that I am more mature than you. I really didn't need to. Stick intelligent in there as well when you have the chance. Your opening Lol was the give away for that one.

To make a few things clear for you:
Opinon: a personal view, attitude, or appraisal.
Fact: a truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true
So yes, you could say my opinion is fact, doesn't mean it's wrong.
"I never said that it has effected me the most. Where did I state that? I never even said anything to imply it."
Look below.

Hey - one sec here - I'm a dirty RAD and I was fighting Rent yesterday. Don't tell me the healing surpression isn't noticable. It is hugely noticable. I was sometime "healing" myself for 0 health!

[ QUOTE ]
Well good for you! I need to sometime heal every 4 seconds because my heal is around 231. Those with bigger heals but greater recharge are bound not to notice it as much!

These were your 2 responses to my opinion.
In my original post I was giving my opinion based on my own experience of pvp, so please tell how that is wrong?
Rent said it best tbh: Lmfao..... His opinion is rubbish huh? Here's me thinking this is a forum for discussion and not a place to dismiss everyone else as wrong because your "right"
And I never said to go play another game. I was actually referring to another AT, but you take that how you will. It doesn't bother me in the slightest what you play.

Says you coming out with comments like Ever listen to your own advice or do you just start typing when mammy or daddy logs you in?
My original post stated that it was my opinion, no-one elses, Mine. I also stated that it affected everyone in a different way, you included. Yet you seem to think that this game (and perhaps the world) revolves around you by the way that you respond. Well here is a "FACT!" for you....it doesn't. If you think my opinion is wrong then that is your opinion and you're entitled to it, but in reality that doesn't make mine wrong just because you don't agree. -
No offense to the current raid leaders, but I do wish that players such as Lost Samurai and Raziel etc came back, they would have had it sorted by the second run. Hopefully if the current leaders study how the yanks did it then the next run with be smooth as...
-
A note I'd like to add is that in regards to the organisation of the next Hami raid, there certainly needs to be a LOT more prior to the night it occurs.
An idea may be that those interested and know they can make it (yes I'm fully aware that RL can get in the way) state here on the forum what AT/Powersets they will bring.
From there with all the information from the forum posts, the Raid leaders can formulate teams and then post that back to the thread. This then ensures that each player knows what team they are in, which also saves a lot of time. Those who don't know if they can make it can then turn up and put in the most appropriate team with a space.
On another note, some sort of plan regarding taking Hami down would be a good thing to sort out, though it may be that the previous 2 attempts have been failures might have come down to lack of organisation.
3rd time's a charm so they say...roll on attempt number 3. -
[ QUOTE ]
No I wouldn't, and I really don't see the point. I pay my subs to play the game - and that includes levelling new characters. Why would I pay my subs so someone else could play it for me?
[/ QUOTE ]
What you have to remember is that everyone is different. There are those who pay to play the game normally (myself included), but there are those who will pay to play differently. As long it is not against the EULA and is perfectly legitimate, those of us who don't like the idea have no right to insinuate that it's wrong.
At the end of the day let those who want to do that get on with it, while the rest of us play it how we want to. -
[ QUOTE ]
You think that can be your answer to every change that is made?
"If you don't like it play something else."
Nice one! That really shows us what level you are at.
[/ QUOTE ]
Lol! I have stated more than once that what I posted was of MY opinion. I also stated that the changes to i13 affect many in different ways due to what they play. So stop moaning in a fashion that i13 has effected you the most. Even though i presume he was messing about, Rent was right when saying you are only sore because your troller was shafted, that statement actually holds some truth.
Might be an idea to remove yourself off your high horse and think of something constructive to say rather than a 'Im a more mature person than you!' comment. -
If you don't like the fact that you have to heal every 4 seconds then play something else.

Don`t really see a problem for it, kinda anticipated it would happen, didn't think people would be doing it so damned cheap though
[/ QUOTE ]
There will always be 1 person who will look to exploit content to their own advantage. I don't have a problem with it, but lvl'ing normally provides some sense of achievement for me.
However I won't say no to anyone who would like to give me 100 mill for continuing to lvl normally -

^ With the exception of this (yes i know it was only an idea) /signed for Damz, Phantoms and Scarlets ideas.
The reason I dont think the above idea would be suh a good idea is that it gives an unfair advantage to those already at the top, with the most members etc especially against those such as Forsaken who have worked harder than an elf at christmas (bad example I know but shush)

The healing suppression imo is hardly noticable.
[/ QUOTE ]
Absolute rubbish....you must be on about a regen or something, which they actually put back, as all healer types are hugely hit by this.
[/ QUOTE ]
Not at all. I was on my BS/Fire scrapper which healing flames can recharge every 13 seconds, which for a self heal is fairly quick, and it can still heal around 600-663 hp even if i do have to pop greens.
And tbh all of you that posted in response about the healing suppression seem to have missed that it was my personal opinion on the changes. The changes affect different people in many different ways due to what they play. -
Shame that another player has to leave, but I hope it all works out for ya, whatever that may be (unless its WoW boohissboo!)
o/ -
After what I'd say thoroughly testing the new system (both in Arena, Pocket D and RV) I have finally come to the conclusion that i13 PvP has indeed taken a turn for the worse, and I agree with all those that left because of the changes.
These are personal points as to why:
1.) Movement suppression - This is the biggest pile of a$$ that has come with the changes. CoX PvP was unique, meaning it had a sheer bit of class compared to the other MMOs such as WoW. And this bit of class was the fast paced game play. It was a case of 'keep moving or die'. Now its a case of 'crawl and get shafted'.
2.) Blasters aren't blasters anymore - To be fair Blaze and BIB was overpowered, but now they hardly seem worth speccing in to a build. With half the range of the other powers such as Fire Blast or Frost Bolt, both these tier 7 powers seem more of a bother than an asset. And to add on top of that the resistance changes in i13 PvP, the Blaster is no longer the "Offensive Juggernaut" that the description in character creation seems to describe.
3.) Defense - Now this isn't a dig at the whole defense change, but towards to cap placed on a power for example such as Parry. Parry, if it hits, gives the caster 10 seconds of melee defense. It can also be stacked up to a maximum of 4 times. Pre i13 a player who had 3 slotted parry with a standard defense buff SO could reach around 75-80% melee defense, but that would last for a second or 2 at most before dropping down to stacked x 3. Please also note it is MELEE defense only, which in PvP there are more ranged players than melee. So those with Parry or Divine Avalanche do not benefit from any defense gained unless they are both in close combat AND the opponent uses a melee power.
So my question to the devs is: why change a power/s that has so many limitations and prerequisites?? To me it seems pointless, but no wonder you had a Golden reason for it.
Not all of the i13 PvP changes are bad. The healing suppression imo is hardly noticable. The defense buff for defense ATs/Powersets were great in need of a change, and the change to the resistance for all classes (especially the squishies) in PvP zones gets a big thumbs up.
But if the devs want to do something right in regards to their own game, then they should give CoX PvP back its unique-ness (<- not sure how to spell that). Remove the movement suppression and make CoX PvP a fast paced fun aspect of the game again.

Did you forget to slot some sort of Acc enh in your attacks mate?

Energy/Fire to me sounds like "chase and burn", which in all honesty sounds well fun
If you are looking to play something different then here are some of the other powersets ive played and can vouch for:
Fire/EM (currently playing) - lost of self boost/buff with awesome seconday effects and great damage.
Fire/Mental - A LOT of AoE and good, fast damage. Decent secondary effects.
Ice/Dev - Caltrops > Trip Mine x 5-10 > Time Bomb > Tp Foe = Bliss. And awesome secondary effects from Ice
Fire/Elec - Very good on damage, and can self sustain endurance providing the target lasts long enough
Elec/EM - Has the best nuke in the game (imo), especially with Boost range and Power boost.
Archery/Fire - Total AoE Carnage. Nuff said. -

Is it just me or did stalkers get megasmacked with the nerf bat?
<-- Wasnt killed on an un-accoladed blaster by AS then ET
[/ QUOTE ]
Stalkers overall are weaker due to the inherent resistance everyone gets now. No-one cares though because they pick spirit sharks and go on a "2 shotting 750 damage rampage" where there is no counter for it.
At least in pre i13 PvP there was movement as a counter
[/ QUOTE ]
I noticed that too, kind of degrading for the elite melee class to resort to ranged, as much as I hate recieving an AS > ET up the backside. Will the fun of i13 never end?!
