    Arc Reviews

Well, anyone who wants to review my arcs:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------
    Author: @FemFury
Level Range: 40+ (with a brief lower level in first mission)
Subject: A mystic artifact threatens to return ancient goddesses to the world.
    5909 - Amazon-Avatars

Notes: This is the one I most hope for hearing feedback on. Very story oriented. I typed a lot of text for this one, and I'd love to have more people read it.
    ----------------------------------------------------------

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Author: @FemFury
    Level Range: 1 to 50
Subject: An encounter with a minor discounted supervillainess brings greater danger than expected.
    6143 - Escalation

Notes: My goal with this arc was to create a memorable opponent.
First mission has some running around, every other map is a small, quick one.

  3. Title: Escalation
    Arc ID: 6143
    Creator’s Global Name: @FemFury
    Difficulty Level: Medium
Synopsis – a meeting with minor, underestimated supervillain leads to a bigger problem.
    Number of EB/AVS – 1 EB, 1 AV
Story Type – basically serious. standard superheroics
Mission Count: 5 (but many small or short maps)
Estimated Time to Play: often under half an hour. only possible holdups are searches in first map, and the final fight.

Note – playing around with a theme in quick series of missions, and trying to make a villain with character development and a twist.
  4. Feedback would be much appreciated!
Several people who played this arc on Test really liked the story (including half of them not in my SG )

Lots of clues and NPC dialogue. If you don't like reading what contacts say, you might not get the full effect, although there still are some custom enemies to enjoy fighting.

    Title: Amazon-Avatars
    Arc ID: 5909
    Creator’s Global Name: @FemFury
Difficulty Level: Medium to Hard, depeding on AT. Best for 45+
Custom Bosses in 4th and 5th Missions. Knives and some Malta

Synopsis – an ancient artifact unleashes dangerous goddesses on the world.
Number of EB/AVS – 1 in final mission. (3 custom bosses in 4th mission though)
    Story Type – Serious
    Mission Count: 5
Estimated Time to Play: never took me more than an hour

Note – fairly story and text intensive. I wrote a lot of clues and NPC dialogue. So, if you don't like reading, probably not for you. Play on heroic to make custom bosses in 4th mission into LTs if you aren't confident.

    Again, feedback much appreciated!

  6. Arc Name: Amazon-Avatars
    Arc ID: 13567
    Faction: Neutral
    Creator Global/Forum Name: @FemFury / Shagster
    Difficulty Level: Somewhat challenging
difficult factions (Malta, Knives), Some custom bosses, but I didn't go overboard on them, I think.

    Synopsis:
The Warriors have an artifact stolen by the Knives of Artemis, revealing an ancient source of power.

Contains: Warriors, Knives of Artemis, some Malta, a pretty simple custom faction.
Technically rated Very Long (5 missions), but purposefully made some of the maps small and quick to mitigate that.

Pretty story heavy. If you don't like reading clues or having the contact talk a bit, or bosses chatting during fights, this probably isn't the arc for you.

some Custom bosses in the last two missions. Nothing too extreme, I think. Can always run it heroic to fight them as LTs if needed.

I focused more on the storytelling than the faction design and fight setups this time, so most interested in hearing feedback about that.

I really hope some people have fun playing, and eager to hear what people might think!
  7. Thanks for the gratz, Sayterra and Kambien.

FYI, to anyone reading, if you are trying to email Tom Burgos at the above address, his computer just crashed the other day, so he's not ignoring people, just cut off from the internet!

I hope that at least one person on these forums is impressed enough to contact Tom for a CoH commission or two. He's really a talented pin-up artist, and making commission art is pretty much his full-time job.

His computer and internet should be back by th end of this week (*fingers crossed*)
  8. Well, considering all the art I commission from comic book artists of RPG characters and stuff, about time I got some stuff of my CoH main.

So here's FemFury, as drawn by internet pinup artist Tom Burgos:
