Dominators, as far as I'm concerned, are some of THE scariest villains around. I mean, come on....
Brutes? The name says it all - muscle, nothing else.
Masterminds? Cowards, hidind behind flunkies.
Stalkers? What are they all about? I mean, are they actually afraid to let their opponent see them coming in case they get their [censored] handed to them?
And Corruptors? Don't evern get me started on them....
Dominators are in the front line (at least the ones I've teamed with) regardless of team size, mob type, doing their thing. And when you see that BOOM, you know that for the next 90 seconds, things are gonna be sooooooo ridiculously easy....
So yeah, Dominators rule

Well, given that it's me, I may be confusing this SF with another one that has multiple AVs in, but give me a break, was up for 16+ hours when I wrote that - I needed my sleep, dammit!
And lots of awakens? Ppppffffff, as a level40, death is currently more chance for me to fund alts while waiting for I7....

Since I managed to fit in both respec missions this week, I'm aiming to run Ice Mistrals SF next saturday afternoon at 2pm.
Level range (IIRC) is 36-40, and has 2 or 3 AVs in it - plus you get a badge, some xp/infamy, and that most rare thing, a high level team with a Dominator in!
Any takers? -

I've been waiting for the electric melee, but thats purely for concept - my main on CoH os a Dark/elec defender who has been split into two parts (although he doesn't know it) - the part with all the morals is in Paragon City, and the other part is soon to appear as an Elec/dark brute...

One or two missions first would be fine...I'm all for making sure we don't suckpaper missions would work for that i guess

Sorry about this, but I like to plan ahead.....
Having reached level 40 with Wynter, and wanting to get most of the pre-40 badges before I7 hits, I'd like to arrange to run the second respec strike force on saturday 25th March - about 3pm would be ideal, but I'm willing to make limited time changes (am swimming in morning and watching V for Vendetta in the evening, so can only be limited)

Actually style over substance is one of my pet peeves - which is why /thermal dominators get politely asked to stop putting the fire shields on me - I'm a being made of ice, dammit, do you WANT me to melt?
Hasten was taken purely because I wanted superspeed, and flurry seemed vaguely ridiculous - but since I'm aiming for superjump now, I can quite cheerfully get rid, since I very rarely use it during a play session.
Having thought about it, glacier is useful, if only as a panic button on teams (thats the only time I use it) - so it may take the place of CE on the above build - it only ever gets 4 slots anyway (2acc, 2 hold duration) -
Well, with regards to the Hasten thing.... I currently have hasten on Wynter (only 1-slotted, but still) and have never been in a position where I actually needed it - things recharge fast enough with the slotting they have, the extra boost has never really been necessary.
Three confuse durations in AA may be too much, I admit, but then this is the first time I've had the power, so not really sure what is too much, and what isn't, etc. -
Well, having almost reached 40 with Wynter, I've noticed a couple of things - 1, I always seem to end up in melee regardless of the team size or mob type (its the swords, I just love the swords....), and 2, I almost never use Glacier. So with that in mind, I have a respec planned for a much more melee-centric Wynter....

Any ideas on where you're going to end up? City-wise I mean... Just so I know where to avoid.... -
Just thought I'd add a quick plug for Ice/Ice - 37 levels so far, and is probably the safest I've ever felt running missions and the like - the -speed, -recharge of Shiver, AA, Chilling Embrace and, well, every single one of your attacks stacks to slow the mobs to a crawl (not even mentioning the confuse pulse on AA), ice slick is just evil (I've never yet seen ANY mob run over it without falling) and at 32, jack just plain trivialises most solo fights - sure, the Imps do more damage, but Jack hits like a runaway train when he's enticed to get up close and personal, he can take more damage than the imps, and he gets a melee hold to help lock down the spawns. The only thing about Ice/ice is that, like all ice powersets, it sucks end like nobody's business - you will pray for stamina at 20....
That and with both ice powersets, taking all 3 of shiver, artic air and chilling embrace is overkill, but hey, it gives you more spaces for all those other powers you wanted to take -

Having levelled a defender to 50, and currently levelling a Dominator in CoV, I though my next hero project would be the squishiest of the squishy - a blaster! With that in mind, I'm looking at Fire/Elec, purely for concept. Any experiernced blasters able to have a look at my planned build and tell me where I'm going wrong?Cheers

Ok, as a continuation of my last post like this..... What would be the worst possible primary/secondary combination for a corruptor you were teamed with?

This is a question that came up in a team I was in over the weekend - thought I'd post it here to see what you guys say
If you, as a brute, deciding to take a break from single-handedly smashing all in your view, started dou-ing with a corruptor (or teaming with a group that included one) and in a spot of phenominal luck, could pick and choose any primary/secondary combination for that corruptor, what would it be, and why? -
Well, giving in to my raging alt-itis, I've decided to make another corruptor (currently running a lv19 rad/rad in addition to my main). However, the problem is that the concept I've worked out relies on the toon being an energy/sonic corruptor. Energy I'm fairly comfortable with, as my first CoH character was an energy blaster I took to 24 before rerolling as Midnight Star, but what I know about Sonic Resonance you could write on the back of the worlds smallest stamp....
It'll be primarily for teaming, as although I'm fairly obsessive about Story arcs and the like, my two mains should catch all of the available ones between them, and half the fun of CoV/H for me is finding teams to run in and making new friends etc etc.
So, anyone out there know anything about sonics? Cheers in advance for any help
