Gregor Richardson doesn't respect magic, he bends it to his will. I figured playfully juggling magic while observed by his trusty familiar (the little red guy in the bottom right) would best represent that. I liked his purple shirt (I carried the purple over to a runes hand aura and to faint magical tattoos on the forearms), but still went with more professional threads, which I think makes him look sort of like a stage magician practicing between acts.

While that was my thought it turned out unfortunate when I finally tried it myself. On the other hand, darkening it the darkest blue I liked results wise. Here is an image of that along with an experiment I conducted on my theory of a more solid helmet.

I'd could see them making her hover as well: Its not a common move on fashion run ways, and would reinforce her name.

I love the new look overall (great boot choice, I would have never thought of those). My only issues are that the blue in the logo bleeds into the blue of the torso so it isn't as striking / visible as it could be, and the head is sort of troubling with the giant yellow wings just stuck on "cloth". Getting rid of the headband rig was a good idea, but I'd almost think a half-helmet might might be a batter place to go, to give the head a little "wearable airplane" bulk and provide the mounting point for sensor / wing details.
On a seperate note, your Serafina build is awesome. -

Caitlin Murray-Davies: Prodigy computer tech and represented currently by a red hat (that we can't use) and a generic dress: Not much inspiration that. I was initially debating going the "Freakshow butchered her during captivity" angle but that didn't appeal to me (I already cyborged up her husband Rick Davies, which is more then enough limb chopping for one family). Instead I came to the conclusion that if she is still around after the fall of Galaxy she might end up just sharing the Atlas DATA offices with her husband, and so I gave her a variant of the general worksuit I ended up experimenting on with him. The goggles are intended to regain the bit of red lost with the hat's removal.
The original model has unpleasantly yellowish skin I couldn't find a good match for. Not that I'd want to. Anyway, here is the code:

Potentially it might have had a better reception in a thread more based around redesign (like the other one I've been frequenting). Since this thread was by started Noble more about "How do various costumes make you feel?" the reaction could tend to be more emotional then that in a thread tending towards "What are the best choices to cement this character?" Just my guess.
As to technical thoughts on KnightErrant's design: I'd say drop the wings (and try to photoshop the existing drapery to see how it would look, maybe photoshop the traditional head on to with its cool feathery bits), replace the sleeves with something less floppy (a bracer tinted white perhaps, to help serve as a wrist mount point for the drapery), maybe try the side slitted skirt rather then the solid side one, and probably lower the chest size by a few notches since the shading on that top already makes things seem bigger then they are. I do like the top selection a lot though, since it sort of evokes the transparency of the existing one while being technically less revealing, and at that color level does look sort of feathery to me. -

Well, Zwillinger posted saying he was going to tell El Topo about this thread a week ago so that hopefully means it has some level of attention. Admittedly it doesn't have the most fetching / descriptive thread title though. Should have been NPC Revision Suggestions or something...

Personally the Clockwork parts (other then the face) don't start registering to my brain as Praetorian unless there are multiple ones on the same character. That being said they probably are a bit to smooth to match with the Robo-Claw hands, so I switched to Piston and updated the image linked in my earlier post: What do you think?

They aren't unique exactly, but this just made me think that the death of a Phalanx member would be an excellent chance for the surviving members to push a symbolic message by recruiting a Rikti Traditionalist like C'Kelkah to restore their ranks.

For villains the Clockwork King will always be my favorite looking character with his cute wobbly little eyes and big brain floating in the B-movie fishbowl helmet. Drek is pretty striking as well. For the hero set Huntsman has a nice hat and Sister Solaris has awesome... parts.

Rebecca Brinell the Science contact from Galaxy: Assuming she doesn't retire or get squashed when her zone is shredded. Since there wasn't a tremendous amount to work with background wise, I decided to keep her fairly close to the original design. After this one I've added a headset (that doesn't interfere with glasses) for standard head detail, picture ID badge for chest detail, and some sort of bio scanner emote to my costume wishlist.

I like the approach you took with claw arms and adding a bit of facial hair (and the eye selection Thirty-Seven made) and worked them into an Attempt 2 at the poor fellow. If the dev's actually did revise him what I'd really like to see is a couple of small bots nearby to assist him (like tiny versions of the mastermind robots summon pets or a clockwork since he studies them).
