I find it extremely ironic that, in order to truly refute a guide that aims to keep everyone from playing Dark Armor in the first place, we have to roll up Dark Armor Brutes. Kind of curious to see how many were rolled up in direct response to this guide.
And actually, what I am most curious to see is datamining that can show, rather conclusively, that Dark Armor Brutes faceplant abnormally more often than any other types of Brutes. Otherwise, I'm much more inclined to think that Dark Armor 'sucks' due to the typical Brute playstyle not meshing well with the set, and not an actual deficiency in the set itself. -

Query.
Since the resistances and control toggles seem to be a major point of contest with why DA 'sucks', is there any particular reason why you haven't extended these complaints to Scrappers? I'm just curious why it sucks for one AT and not another, despite being the exact same set in terms of strength. -

That's understandable. I just figured that it might be a little easier to work with it from the baseline numbers in worksheets and whatnot. At the absolute least, it's an interesting find.

Just figured I'd point something out here. The maximum HP percents that each AT can achieve are far too sloppy, and there is, in fact, a clean and easy solution.
Instead of basing those percents as a comparison of capped AT hitpoints versus standard AT hitpoints, do a comparison of capped AT hitpoints versus standard base hitpoints. The results of that are far, FAR cleaner.
Blasters, Controllers, Corruptors, Defenders, Dominators, Masterminds, and Stalkers cap out at 150% of the baseline.
Kheldians and Scrappers cap out at 225% of the baseline.
Brutes and Tankers cap out at 300% of the baseline.
Figured this find might help clean some formulas that people might work with. -
Ok, bit of a dumb question. Are you looking for assistance in gathering the damage scale values of all of the powers, or is there a way that you're able to dig that up? I've already been trying to generate what numbers I can, so I can send them your way if it's needed.
