Kay, that's about it. Why am I suggesting this? Because I haven't slept in 23 hours and I'm starting to hallucinate... and because it sounds like a good idea at the time. Also because creating this set would mean the animal costume parts having reason to exist.

Edit: Oh, and those stackable buffs would not be enhanceable
  3. Thread status: Derailed

Suggestion status: Denied as a consensus. Can we move on to better things now?

If someone calls you a furry, it's clearly meant to be just as derogatory as a certain word for homosexual people that begins with an F (or D), a certain word for black people that begins with an N, etcetera...

If you consider calling people names like that as anything less than abuse... that's all that needs to be said indeed.
  5. Okay, but see here's the problem. You forgot where he mentioned "Functioning game" As in, game on the market, heck even game in development using these techniques.

Tech demos mean absolutely diddly squat because it does not count for the human element interacting with it. Might as well link Toy Story movies and ask why we can't have such lifelike graphics for MMOs.

Don't mean to sound like a killjoy, but presenting something a bit more valid would help your case. I'm not even going to bring up the question of whether it would even be compatible with the City of Heroes engine at all.

As a side note you just linked the same video twice.

Don't get me wrong, I am an avid RPer and graphics hit right home to me just because beautiful scenery (and likewise grotesque scenery) is a great tool of immersion. I'd just want far more validity as Sam said.

    See my thread here
Feel free to comment on it.

And if anyone flames it and calls you a furry, there's a report abuse button for a reason. That is all ^_^
  7. When it comes to the council VS the fifth column, the column always wins in my book. Why? Because they are snappy dressers, something the council seriously lacks.
  8. The first arts are in.

This one was done by Heroid on my own server, Virtue.
  9. You can auto complete it if you haven't done so recently.

On the mission itself, I do agree. They either need to start giving the rewards to compensate for the time it takes to destroy them, or the health needs to be lowered.
  10. I predict stone brutes/tanks will find this thread funny.
  11. As far as trenchcoats go, I'd honestly be happy if there were a second option for the chestpiece at all.

I like this as well though.
  12. (( So........ I don't get it. You wrecked a base and sold everything and posted screenies to boast about it? Or am I missing something?))
  13. I remember the first time I ever fought T3h PwNxx0rz. That was one of the best maps ever.

Where does the naming thing come into the first one? That guys name should effectively soiled after that so changing the SG name shouldn't do him much good. (Though in cases like that I'd personally love to see him be forced to turn the SG over to the highest rank he kicked =P)

And remind me to not stroll into PI without a supergroup >.>
  15. Just to further play the devils advocate. Fitness becoming inherent effectively means that there is no such thing as fitness anymore.

The way I see it, for those of you that absolutely can't get over the horrible atrocity that your character can jump a foot higher or run 1mph faster, the lore of the game is being ret-conned in one tiny aspect. EVERYONE in the world now naturally runs that fast and jumps that high as if it were so from day one. ICly you would not RP this change, as there is ICly no guy living in a van down by the river giving everyone shots of steroids to buff you.

Let me repeat, ICly, this change does not exist plain and simple.

There's a huge difference between "We want options" and "We want things that a massive majority of people will never use".

Well, yeah, I suppose there could be the rare occasions of some guild leader going off his rocker and renaming "The Incredibles" to "LolIlikecats" then ragequitting. That would at least (hopefully) be easily reversible by a gm petition unless you had something else in mind.

Really. Well that would change things entirely and make this suggestion even far easier if it were true. I'll have to try this sometime.
  18. I don't see any harm in it.

You fully realize and accept that the phrase you spout is meaningless, that it most certainly sparks emotional arguments, that it gets on peoples nerves and that's why you do it. There's a name for that, and it's oft used in the internet.

This is where I stop and opt to click the button. Have a good one, this is my last post on the matter.

As far as on-topic goes, a sawed-off shotgun would be good as well.

I actually don't think I'd agree with that one for one reason. There's a good number of people who purposefully log off and/or DC themselves to get away from a bad team because they're typically cowards that don't want to take responsibility for what they do.

So basically if one guy did this, the entire team would have to disband and reform, to replace this guy, and start the mission over again. Unless I'm mistaken.
