  1. Thanks for all the helpful advise, and best of luck to those working on the new version(s). If there's any place I can donate to help, lemme know!
  2. Just switched my to a Mac for school (travel was too rough for my desktop PC) and I was wondering if there is anything like Mids Hero Designer for the Mac? Any help would be welcome as I've come to rely on Mids to help me plan out my enhancements/power selections for characters as well as help me come up with new character concepts.

    Thanks in advance.
  3. How will the affect Task Forces? Will characters now be able to run Task Forces from below the minimum level or will they still have a level requirement? IMO, if you're goal is to allow anyone to play together, I think you should remove the minimum levels for TF/SF's. This is especially important, I feel, since you are removing Hazard/Trial Zone level requirements, because otherwise, there will be little to no point for a level 1 to head to RWZ or Cimerora other than to get the day job badges. Plus, with this feature, it would allow more customization so that early level characters can gain access to Vanguard and Roman costume pieces.

If this is not already planned/working I vote strongly for its inclusion.

    Ahhhhhh, scrapperlock.
  5. Stealth gives a +35 feet Stealth Bonus
Unbounded Leap: + Stealth Proc also gives a +35 feet Stealth Bonus.

If you only have one of these active, you will be seen when you enter melee range as normal enemies have about 40 perception. With both the Proc. in Sprint AND Stealth (the power) activated the bonuses stack to give you +70 feet of stealth, which makes you invisible until you interact with an enemy or object because around most normal enemies.

Here's a link to the paragonwiki article on Stealth that may help more: Stealth and Perception - Paragon Wiki
  6. I am so sorry I missed Thursday night's play session. I literally got my internet working again about 35 minutes ago... I'll be there next week baring anything equally as drastic. Glad you guys we're all having fun without me!
  7. I'd vote Sovereign with Countrymen as a close second. I'd actually prefer to bump Thursdays up by an hour if it's doable. If not, I can still play at regular times.
  8. Sounds great! Can't wait for this to begin.
  9. Thursdays or any weeknights after 7pm works for me too. DM could be a twisted form of Citadel's EM. I do think that the WS fits Numina more than Sister Psyche and MB's idea works well for Sister in it's place. Just my 2 inf.
  10. Well there ya go. I'd love to do the tank for the Vindicators team as well, but 3am just doesn't work for me. Let me know when this will be starting.
  11. I'd love to do something for this depending on times. Don't care too much about whether it's for the Phalanx or Vindicators, but just let me know when times get more locked in.

My time is flexible anywhere between Noon EST and 2am EST. I can definitely put aside a night once it's chosen.

If you still need a Synapse character I could offer to make a Kin/Elec Defender.
  12. My position would be to maintain registration. As I understand, in CoX lore, you are registered from the get go as a hero and you even work directly out of City Hall in AP. I think I only have one hero currently who walks the line of hero/vigilante. All my villains, however, would certainly be against.

I find this ironic, because I was definitely siding with Cap in Marvel's Civil War comics. I guess I feel like CoX needs to keep heroes registered so that if another disaster strikes (see Rikti War), retired or MIA heroes can be accounted for. Also, registration helps to keep tabs on hero's powers that have a potential to go out of whack, such as in Faultline or Siren's Call.

    Anyway, that's my 2 influence.
  13. Happy Birthday Positron. Come in, relax, take your coat and pants off. This is Triumph after all.
  14. I'd be willing to offer myself up for hero side TFs or a MS Raid leader. Not sure if the latter works all that well for a "newb" event though...
  15. In every STF I've done, we've just wailed on her until she's gone down. The heal is a pain, but with enough damage you can over come it. I don't really understand why you waited for her to be held before jumping in with the melee players though, and maybe that was a problem since she had a lot longer for her heal to recharge. Also, the fact that you only had a blaster and a scrapper for damage was probably a factor.

    Hamidon Raid?

I'm in for a Hami raid as well, and I'll gladly show up for the EoE runs. Just lemme know when.

  18. Well, since IZ declared after 4, how about 6pm EST? I'll post on TW2.0 and TMSTF in a moment.
  19. Got dragged into family crap and just go home, I'm really sorry about that. I'll try broadcasting throughout the day Sunday to see if I can get interest and I'll save spots for you both, if you're still interested. Once again, I'm really sorry I didn't let ya'll know sooner.
  20. Just wondering if we could get enough interest on doing one this weekend. I'd prefer to shoot for early Saturday ~6 or 7 or Sunday. I want to bring my scrapper. Let me know if you're interested/what you could bring.

Geek Sugar seems to be saying that the boxed retail version of the Architect Edition will be released on March 12, but that conflicts with several other sites showing 4/14 for the box, so GS is no doubt mistaken.

This link actually just mentions that Architect will be out on the 12th. I doubt that it'll be live this early, but perhaps open beta will start then?

    Issue 13: BUGS

    Server: Triumph
    Zone: Atlas
Character name: Xephyr (Level pacted friend: Arnbjorn Veigarth)
    Time: 5:00pm 12/5 and 11:30pm 12/7
    Location: Zoning to Atlas
    Mission: N/A
    Mission Contact: N/a
Bug Description: After completeing the tutorial, I made a leveling pact with my friend on Arnbjorn Veigarth. We then both proceeded to zone into Atlas. My friend crashed before entering Atlas and continued to do so at the same progress point on every subsequent attempt. He logged into a different character and had no problems getting in, but still can not log in on Arnbjorn. He logged into his account on my computer and was able to get in. I am experiencing no problems. (But I have the forum account )
