I only slot powers once for end (if I have room for it) and slot heavily for other effects. I also turn off sprint and make sure I have a decent supply of blues on hand. So far, on teams, I can hang on with a decent amount of endurance without hitting empty yet still contribute as much as anyone else in the team. I don't know what you're doing wrong when you've tried to manage your endurance without stamina, but you're still doing it wrong if you think your strawmen are even the least bit viable.

Quote:I have a very good graphics card and haven't noticed anything of the sort. That's simply not true.
Those pictures aren't doctored.
You can get mirrored effects on ATI cards at high FX settings, but the mirroring only looks right from one angle. If you move the camera around, you get really bad offset FX. Look at the first picture above and see that Pilgrim has a distortion FX behind him when he shouldn't. That's typical of ATI cards at a high setting.
Let me repeat for the whole thread:
That photos are real. I get the same FX on my computer.

Quote:Actually your "point" made it sound like this game was too hard for you.Way to add nothing useful to the thread. So are you being deliberately thick, or is it for real? The point is... casual friendly play=a thriving playerbase. The less casual friendly your play, the smaller your playerbase will be. Redside is not as casual friendly due to weaker market and more scarcity in teaming (among other things). The point I was making was to highlight that relationship. But you either totally missed the point, or deliberately missed it in an attempt to troll the thread.

Strawman. I contribute just as much to a team as a person with stamina, possibly even moreso because I can do more things than they can.

Quote:I probably spend a total of 10 to 15 minutes a week on the Black Market. There's nothing tricky about using it all and I can usually buy and sell things very easily on it.The villain market just doesn't have the same levels of supply and you just can't get things as easily.
No anecdotal evidence from experienced and smug marketeers can change that fact.
People that have an actual life outside the game will never have all the same knowledge and abilities to take advantage of a scarce market and so they will opt for the blueside one, which has a lot more stuff on it. -

Redside Market seems as fine as Blueside Market in my experience. Redside, I noticed, even manages to be slightly cheaper than Blueside.

Quote:You do realize the sales history is not the actual going price, right? It's just idiots paying too much. Ten to one there are merchants still selling items at the same low prices they always are.Because I can't fix it. I can only work around it. There is a difference.
Totally aside from that, I pay people a monthly fee to fix things like this.
Hell, the whole concept of the GR expansion pretty much admits the devs have no way to fix redside population. Once that is established, the only way to have a healthy market is to merge it with blue.
But accepting that fact is tough once you've taken the internet tough guy stance. Have fun sticking redside where you can be the big fish in a small pool. -
Quote:Am I the only one who cackles in deranged glee during that "Kidnap Civilians for the Vahzilok" mission?Re: not able to get into being a Villain...
There are many CoH players, myself included, who have tried time and again to ding a Villain. Many of us simply find that while the Zones are awesome, the Archetypes are awesome, the Mission Arcs are awesome, etc... that there's something about playing a Vill that just doesn't sit well.
If you just can't find it in yourself to give a Vill your love, I'd say that's relatively normal, based on various threads I've seen here over the years. -

That's my hired muscle.
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's a duck.
Quote:Why the h*** would you want to do that!??? You are a villain so why would you care about what Recluse want!?
Step Two: Overthrow Recluse.
Step Three: Install self as ruler. -
I'll give you Atta, but Frostfire is only more lethal because he spawns with a regular boss and a bunch of minions.

I have a villain group on Champion and I'm always interested in teaming.

It's because heroes are sissies and need to be coddled, thus their easier content.

Quote:Longbow.Redside; you are a villain in cities populated by other villains and you fight against these other villains o.O. How often do you take on a hero when you play as red? Almost never...
Quote:You don't fight any hero nemesis.
Quote:You don't scheme anything big and sinister against Paragon City and it's inhibitants. All you do is cowering in the Rogue Islands wiping the arachnos b*** while watching the brown and the grey colors, running around in a city that looks like it's lived through the II World War inhabited by millions of npc villains doing just the same thing you do: nothing.. -
It's not necessary to have it. My characters do just fine without Stamina. I've learned how to manage endurance rather well. Stamina's generally for those who don't feel like managing the endurance bar. To me, Stamina is not worth sacrificing three powers that I really want.

It's not that long of a wait. I have in fact, beaten up entire spawns with just a few points of endurance without much difficulty multiple times. On Defenders.
