Quote:I've addressed this several times, I'm not interested in doing market research. You want something proved, then prove it. This has been stated several times but you're either too thick to get it, or too intent on trolling to bother. Low supply is a flaw. Simple as that. A flawed market contributes to population issues. But then... you just repeat the same things over and over again without anything new to add to the conversation. What's the next bald faced lie you would like to tell in this thread?
Gearford, if the word that comes to mind for you is "term paper" any sort of higher education is going to be a rude awakening for you. Most of my posts are typed during loading screens on missions. Guess some of us can just type faster than others. As for serious posters in this thread... I have seen just about one. He actually bothered to post up some comparative numbers. Everyone else is just posting anecdotal evidence with no factual backing (myself included) and going "NANANANA YOU'RE WRONG!"
But hey, I just have issues with people trying to pass off opinion or outright bad information as fact. Only caveat is, my opinion is right and yours is wrong! You want to tell me I'm wrong, then prove it. Otherwise that can really be said is that our opinions and experiences differ.

Quote:You mean the troll with the bastardized Arabic name? Yes, great backup there. All he's done so far is insult people. Supply matches the population, but you said the market was flawed, not just low in supply. You made claims about overly expensive circuit boards and said all of these were causes for the low population. Then when you're backed in a corner you just say "no u" and repeat the same things over and over again without showing anything for it.Sorry, burden of proof has absolutely nothing to do with the number of people backing either side of the argument.
Yet... here you are in another blatant lie. There are several people in this thread who agree with me. Even Tokyo admits there are supply problems redside and he supports that side of the argument. If you're going to outright lie to support your argument, try to do it in a way that isn't blatantly obvious to anyone who has actually read the thread... just a suggestion to keep your foot from your mouth. -
Quote:Let me explain this simply. You are just one man claiming the Black Market is flawed, whereas there's something like 3 or five of us at least in this thread alone who say it is not. Ergo, the burden of proof resides on your shoulders.Actually, I owe you nothing. My anecdotal evidence is exactly as reliable and relevant as yours. Fixating one something which has been repeatedly explained, and was clearly never the point to start with just smacks of trolling... surprise surprise. Would you like to tell me again how I'm the only one who provides anecdotal evidence regarding the market in this thread?

Quote:I usually only need a blue every second or third spawn. Or if its some object that summons an ungodly amount of mobs (Will of the Earth, Portals, I'm looking at you.)QFT. Also I hate to say it but the argument about using blue's is flawed. The problem there is that you're using a crutch. I hate to say it but I prefer to just look at things as is. When you're looking at things on a purely mechanical level, you shouldn't need to use blues at all. If you can play without Stamina and play fine, then why do you need blues? You shouldn't NEED to use blues. Inspirations were supposed to be in those "change your pants" moments or when you need to "dig deep" like in the comics. It sounds like most people saying you don't need to have Stamina enjoy sitting around and watching their bars fill. I think that's great if that's the way you like to play. Aside from this thread though, I've never met anyone game since CoH beta to present that actually did. But... their are people that like going swimming in the arctic too... but again, to each his or her own
hahaha.

I did say I'm only on it for about 15 minutes a week. I only buy what I need and sell what I don't. And you still owe us evidence since the majority of us are skeptical.

Dark Miasma is the only set aside from its cousin Dark Armor that I know of that has resistance to Psi.

Quote:What I'm actually saying is the burden of proof lies on solely... you. Then you completely missed the point of that statement. The point being that the red market does not get enough traffic to quickly recover from that kind of price fixing. It will recover, but nowhere nearly as quick as the much higher traffic blue market. The point was, red is MUCH more vulnerable to that, and takes much longer to recover.
But yeah, taken out of context with no point of reference it really adds a lot to your point again... wait... what was your point exactly? I must have missed it because all I saw in your post was basically "you're wrong because I say so". I really am curious, what was your point in posting except to bring up an irrelevant point, out of context, and further drag on a pointless discussion that had pretty much ended. -
Like I've said before, I haven't used stamina once yet. You don't need it. Using a slot for endurance reduction and keeping a supply of blues has done me well. It's not needed. No one is forcing you to take it. I don't see Paragon Studios sending cops to your house because you're not playing with stamina.

Quote:Just look at them cross-eyed and they'll stand nice and still for you.I don't know, I kind of agree with the OP. If someone looks cross-eyed at my doms they die whereas my defenders, blasters, and controllers often survive surprise situations... or at least it feels that way.

From what I've seen in this thread so far is that you're the only person who has presented anecdotal experience. I'm still waiting to see these overpriced circuit boards of yours.
-
As others have said, control is your armor. Use your control more and you should do just fine.

Quote:I'm just parroting what I read here. Why wouldn't your case? You aren't really making any sense. I have never seen a case that "wouldn't" accept a replacement power supply.
Ever. -

You make it sound awful, but it's quite the opposite. This machine hasn't lagged or stuttered once. It runs smoothly. From what I've read though, the m9500y's PSU can't handle a 9800GT, as the quad-core needs a lot of energy. I might as well buy an entirely new computer and I can't afford that right now.

Quote:It was the biggest, baddest computer I could find. The rest I looked at in the store were lower end compared to it.I was doing some checking, with that gfx card you dont even need 8 gigs of Ram. Your processor doesnt need 8.
Just a question, but where did you buy your "high end" gaming computer? Who told you that those specific parts would go good together?
It seems to me you could have saved the money on the 4 extra Gigs of RAM, and gotten a FAR better GFX card. -
-
I don't know about PP, but my computer was brand new last year.
-
Quote:Um... because that's what the computer came with when I bought it.Why would you get such a low end gfx card with the rest of that system?
Quote:Btw I think you mean 8 Gigs of RAM...
And you're assuming I own Crysis. I wouldn't know. I don't have it. -
While not my ideal form of government, the so-called oppressed citizens of Praetoria are happy.

This. How do you think superhumans will be treated after normal folks gain power from Emperor Cole? Are your rebels smart enough to devise a Constitution that will protect the rights of the minority?
-
And 8 Gigs of RAM and an AMD Phenom X4 9750 processor count for nothing? This computer was designed specifically for high end gaming. Don't count everything out yet. We have yet to really test out Ultra Mode as it is. Lag is unheard of on my system.
