    Most of my global friends who would have run this with me, quit when they decided that there was never going to be a solo path to the incarnates.     Come on now. Solo play's a perfectly viable way to play this game. I normally run with a friend, but normally not in a group of 4 or more. Why should any playstyle be excluded from a holiday event's shiny?

    Just to put my two cents in, there does need to be a solo-focused story arc or two introduced that's gated for Incarnates. Something that'll actually be challenging. After all, team books are fun...but the best are the solo titles. And no, to those who want to say otherwise...that isn't in the game yet. It just plain isn't. Whether it has it's own shard reward at the end or not, sometimes you want your character to be the focus of the story, not the team. This isn't groups of adventurers running dungeons; this is Heroes...and Villains...doing superhuman feats of superhumanness. Sometimes that's best shown by being the one guy who takes down the unbeatable foe.

    My (now lvl 50) fire/fire Dom Marge has the last mish from Scirocco yet to clear.     I have been experiencing this issue for some time, been trying to figure it out on my own but I've not been able to resolve it. When I run City of Heroes, I notice once I'm in game I'm getting a huge amount of CPU usage, and I'm running into progressive lag issues that eventually crash either the client or my computer if I don't log off. They start with the sounds of the game, and I can't hear power activations, sounds of combat, and music. Then I start lagging to the point where it's a slide show more than anything else, and then I crash.
    I've checked my virtual memory, updated drivers, and cleaned out my computer physically. I just recently did a system restore in order to clear a virus that was unremoveable by antivirus. I use Panda for that, and I turn it off when running the game.


    System specs are as follows:
    eMachines T3114
    AMD Sempron 3100+ 1.8 GHz
    1.5 g SDRAM
    NVidia Geforce 6200
    onboard sound run by Via Audio deck
    Windows XP SP 2

    I run with no other programs up and running active. Any ideas?

    Well, this was a very good time, I hope for all. Thank you, Ocho, for the fun of having a Mod with us, and all the goodies in the trunk.
