I typically don't get off work until 9:00pm through the week... So, don't count on me... but I'm already pushing the team here to try to get done so I can go home early tonight... lol

It's PARTY TIME!!!
Dream Weaverz is celebrating 5 years as a Super Group within City of Heroes!
We've been in and out, but mostly consistant... and we're ready to announce to the world we're here to STAY!
We're going to celebrate in style by having a single day of fun contests/tasks and game trivia... We'll be handing out prizes in Pocket D.
We have 500+ million influence/infamy reserved for the day of activities. Plus, I hope to add some decent IO enhancements that some may find attractive and maybe some salvage too... But whatever it is, we hope you'll join us and have some fun.
The plan is to set up a temporary chat channel before the event and then communicate the contest/tasks and trivia through that channel only, to eliminate a lot of other global chatter.
WHEN: Sunday, July 11 Starting at 12:00 noon eastern and running until 7:00 pm eastern (we don't want to interfere with other evening events typically planned for Sunday afternoon/evening)
Depending on the situation... I will be e-mailing the winnings to each person upon completing the task or correctly answering the trivia question (and being the first to do so)... I plan to have 6 to 10 trivia questions per hour and a brief contest per hour... all set up to break up the typical day. Most of the tasks will take place Blue Side, but I'll make sure we have some stuff planned for Red Side too.
We hope you'll join us in celebrating our time here and look forward to seeing all our old friends and meeting some new friends too...

We had a blast...
This really is one of the best trials in the game... Both, for it's content and for it's overal visual vastness.
Our team took a few beatings, but we bounced right back and took Titan down quite effectively... -

Liberty as a whole is a very good server... We do have people on here that are always willing to help and assist when needed...
Many SG's and individuals will host events and challenges that always seems to draw a crowd...
Any player that comes to Liberty and can't find something to do or needs assistance, just is not looking in the right places or asking questions... -

So whoever leads it is fine with me. I had never done a Mothership raid and I was lucky enough to be invited to one of AV's teams and a had great time. I have been on 4 more since then. (I have a buddy who has been playing for nearly 4 years and has never been on a successful one so it isn't totally a cakewalk).
Sure there will be new players who don't know what to do. You should be glad and happy of that. Some will be awful and some will be new players who are willing to learn.
The server needs new people willing to take part. If you make a vet only event then over time you will find that you will not have enough people. Training larger pools of potential raiders is not only a good idea, but an essential one.
Who should lead? The best leader is the one willing to lead. So whoever is wlling, Lead ON!
I've not been on a raid in several years myself... but as always, I try to support newer players, veterns and Liberty Sever as a whole...
Set the day/date and if RL is not standing in the way... I'll be there! -

Had two teams at first and I think a couple more formed teams afterwards...
Thanks to all that helped in honoring Cyrus Thompson on Memorial Day...
BTW... Team one finished in 59:27 with a 5 minute break, a DC and nearly defeat all baddies... GREAT TEAM and had a lot of fun! -

But I did run this taskforce a month or so ago. Lots of circle. But fun! I recommend it highly. Maybe I will try and run it before the weekend is over just to do it.

It's a fairly quick Task Force... you can toss the burgers and steaks on the grill and start the TF and still be back in time to flip them...
