  1. Did something in i15 break the AI for the Heavies? I haven't tried the vil ones, but my hero Heavy will occasionally just start running away after defeating an enemy, regardless of my commands.

    Anyone know what's up?
  2. Well, I leveled my Dom to 22, and have tested all the powers except Terrify and Mass Confusion. I'm pretty set on the second build I posted, only with some powers moved around and Mass Hypnosis traded in for Hasten.

    Unless someone can provide me a good reason to keep Mass Hyp, that is
  3. Well, I am pretty new to the mind set, so there was some stuff I wasn't sure about.

    For example - Mass Hypnosis. At first glance, this seems like a lackluster power. Sleep a whole mob? Then the corr fireballs and I wasted time/end for no gain. Unless I'm missing something.

    TK- I was planning on grabbing this to try it out, possibly going to respec if I don't like it. But, I hadn't checked the end cost. Now, especially with the increased end problems for doms, I can't see a situation that this power would help me, outside of pvp.

    Mass Dom - Not a fan of AoE holds for Doms, but the plan was an OH **** power when combined with Dom and PBU.

    Powerboost - I moved this back a bit, as I realized that you were right, it is fairly pointless that early. But I don't want to write it out completely.

  7. I should warn anyone who comes in here, I'm not in any sense a PVPer. I don't have a problem with it, just the attitudes that tends to be rampant on Freedumb pvp channels/zones.

    Anyways, I need some help getting the pillbox badges in RV. More specifically, I need help _avoiding_ PVP while getting these badges. I'm an emp/rad defender (perfect pvper, I know ), with almost 0 pvp experience.

    Basically, I want to know if there are any powers I could get (I use stealthedSJ/Stealth/Temp Invuln to protect myself now) that would help, and are there any tactics I could use to avoid notice from the pvping population? Currently, I just /hide from everything before entering RV, but that doesn't seem like enough.

    Any help would be great, as I'm tired of this 2/3 filled bar and I'm ready to knock this one off the list. Thanks in advance.

  10. When did the awesome hibernate animation get changed to the poor one we have now? I just jumped on my ice/fire today after a few months, and was sorely disappointed when I was unable to show my friend the cool graphic.

    When did this happen?
  11. Yeah, the order is off. It should go A -> B -> C in the mission, but the detail list goes C -> A -> B. Is there someway to move the C event to the bottom without retyping and redoing everything?
  12. The error message makes no sense to me. Here's what it says:

    Mission 1: The triggers are creating a circular dependency. For Example, if A triggers when B is completed and B triggers when A is completed, then neither will ever trigger.


    That's not what I have set up. What I have is a destroy object that triggers a rescue ally spawn. When the rescue ally is complete, I have a boss spawn.

    It's not circular. It's very linear. A starts B, and B starts C. Why isn't this working?

    (Also, not sure how this would affect it, but A - the destroy object- and B - the rescue ally - are required for mission completion, but C - boss spawn - is not)

    Any help would be great.


    Unrelated question:

    I occasionally get this message:

    Someone voted on 'arcname'.

    At first, I thought it meant someone voted 0 (thus the no tickets), but now I'm not sure. The number of plays never change after that. My stars are also remaining consistent 4s, which seems unlikely if I was getting 1-3 zeros everyday.

    What does that message mean?

  14. You need to set the enemies as something else. You're telling the MA that the only enemy there is that certain boss- thus only that boss filsl up all the minion/lt spots.

  16. I decided to cop out a bit. I just made him a minion, melee expert, and made the AV have some AoE's.

    I ran across another problem though. I can't get the escort in a later mission to betray me. I looked at Memphis_Bill's guide, and did what it said (follow, aggressive, betray on arrival). Does that mean escorts will only betray when you take them to the door?

    I want the guy to get rescued and immediately attack his saviors.
  18. One more thing:

    Will rogue groups fight one another? (Like, if I make a rogue ambush when the AV is at 3/4 hp, then another rogue ambush at 1/2, will they fight one another?)
  19. The idea is you need to save a hero from the arcs main AV. But the guy panics and runs. Then, while you're fighting off an ambush (the same guys that were guarding him), the main AV spawns at the entrance and defeats him (AV vs minion battle goes pretty fast ).

    I'll keep messing with it I guess. Thanks for help, though.
  20. Can I set them to attack and run somehow?

    I'm trying to set up something where you rescue someone, he flees, and then gets killed (by a boss spawned at the mish beginning) while the team is distracted with an ambush.
  21. Can captives (from the rescue captive) be defeated by enemies?

    And if not, can you make an escort run to the door and leave by himself/herself?
  22. Alright, basically what I'm trying to do is set up an AV ambush that targets a NPC ally, and then runs away (the AV assassinated the guy, but didn't want to kill the player).

    I tried setting up a battle between the NPC and the AV, but I can't figure out how to make the guy run to the exit and leave.

    I want the AV out of the mission, because it's supposed to be a quick, one hit battle (NPC is a minion) that doesn't involve the players.

    Is something like this possible? Either using the battle action, or something else, whatever gets me the same effect.

    If this is incoherent in some parts, sorry. It's late.

  24. When I tried loading the MA after a test run, a black, unmovable box appeared in the middle of my screen and I can see half of the MA. It looks like a drop down list, but it's completely blank. I tried reloading and quiting but it's still there. Has anyone else encountered this?
