I do agree with FFM, the trials are not suitable for a slow IC mission, Apex and Tin could be, but would be hard work to make a good IC setup.

TBH IMHO a post invasion meeting would seem more logical, a chance to compare notes on the IDF, report weaknesses, things needing improvement. Almost an IC VG debriefing, with prepared questions to each group, may be with someone acting as a NPC VG chairperson.

Most of the interesting stuff was said after the meeting formally broke up, no on seemed to pay any attention to Thrice standing there., the logo on his black tee shirt was too small it seems.

The Longbow Rep did a good job of making Longbow look baddies we all know them to be, cooperation is clearly not a word in their dictionary. The Corp looked overtly helpful. The posers managed to inflate their egos, and the main body of heroes seems a bit lost and uncertain of what to do.

with all the revisions can we have a clear out line of tonights plan, and who will be allowed in .. i am thinking about possible Pro - Cole faction spys, and other interested parties outside of the main SG / VGs that will have been called in, also what about VEATs ?

well, given where Ethan is from ****** up is a pretty good discription of the world.

Ethan stay quiet and hidden inside his suit of Winterized T-51b Power armor, he let the chat flow over him, he stayed beside the Ildela he knew, nodded a non-committing way and waited to see what developed. He planed to stick with the one person who has so far made any sense, Ildela.

3 hours is not an invasion, most sight seeing trips last longer, it also points to something that is not going to change anything much, more like some payback for the BAF / Lam raids.

..and given its short duration i dont see much Pro-Cole, Paragon based, faction activity as they are not going to break cover for such a short term raid, but save themselves for a proper invasion, maybe a few spies trying to access the VG meeting to see what perp is made.

I guess all the BAF and Lam runs have depleted Cole's army so much he only has enough troops for a one day war ..

As we have now been given the Vanguard pack , is that not a good hook to use Vanguard as the coordinator in this case, a simple backstory of VG being busy with the Rikti, but as the only existing International defence body they are going to act as the comms / liason , just providing map rooms, radio rooms and basic kit to the characters, and coffee and donuts of course. Thus given a nice reason for us all having cute MVAS pets.

Question..are you planing to run this just from the Primal side, or will Pro Praetorian factions have a roll ?

It was a good thing that his Helmet masked the look his face gave the “suits”, Ethan’s snap judgment of then was to trust them as far as he could spit underwater, they looked like the slime that gathers around power.

Part of the issue Tech is none of the people know what is normal for Paragon, all being non natives, added to the fact the not all know that the others are also non-natives.

Having encounter town lawkeepers before Ethan hough staying insidehis armour was the best thing for now, no point in being remembered later on...

Seeing that shooting was not a good choice Ethan rapidly swapped his gun for a large knife, a dull metal bladed combat knife, its bland nature only broken by the thin lettering scratched into the left-hand side of the blade, however one would have to get too close for comfort to read the single word ..STABHAPPY.

Ethan took half a pace back and in a flat run leaped across to land mere feet from Jacob, his Winterized T-51b Power armor helmet making Vadar like breathing sounds, no sneak attack here just a full on assault , the knife flashed and struck out at Jacub as Ethan fell deep into his combat trance (( VATS ))..

Just off to the left a trench coated figure became real and in a fluid motion raised a long barrelled .44 and fired, a Mysterious projectile left the gun and moved across reality towards Jacub….

Having noted the collateral issue in this City Ethan held fire, also his invisible new chum might be in the way..

Instead he opted to move right and find a safe roof top to scan the area with and see what was really occurring.

Once in place he kept a wide pair of eyes watching developments , while making sure he had a firm bead on the bad guy.

i have a mid 40's DP/Nrg blaster and the Nrg works very nicely , with some good CC / mitigation Nrg powers and the power boost making the DP effects even better, i like the slow effects from the ice ammo, as i tend to play a very moble blaster. I did try the dev/traps route, but found it made a more static toon, which wasnt the style i was after. The DP animation demand movement IMHO.

/Trick Arrow ..and you never need to get into a melee, unless you want to, i find it even better than dark at setting up the mobs for your pets.

Late last night someone let rip across Eastgate Park in the Prez park district. The PPD officers on duty at the gate to Skyway reported a mass of screaming and shouting as person or persons, as yet unknown, swept the area of Circle of Thorn cultist.

PPD Sergeant Clive Hoslt said they witnessed a “rampage of fury” and “ widespread detonations of some sort” as whoever it was hunted down the CoT across the Eastgate Park area. The assault was powerful enough to silence the area, even now at 8:00 am there is a somewhat creepy quiet over the place, and no sign of the normal gang activity, even the wildlife is keeping a low profile. Sergeant Hoslt said that Longbow has been asked to send in a patrol so see what has happened but as yet only a liaison has arrived.
