the heavy doors already had suffered a Freakshow paint job and now sported a chaos of coloured swear words and logos ....

above the locked doors a CCTV camera in a armoured box turned to peer at the two heroes , from a speaker in its metal housing a dark voice replied to Ed's challenge .....

the idea we came up with in GGOOC chat was a swap meet , a RP blackmarket ..neutral ground run by a "trusted" villian .. like facemaker shops , where villians go to trade stolen goods , find vital parts for dooms day weapons ..or anti bat spray , also where merc type villians sell their skills and Boos type villians hire minions ..

that way any type of villian can have a reason to be there .. no one fights .. and RP can follow ...

Shad00w allowed the dark mist to fade as Molly's gun was picked up by one of his Gunner-Freaks ,

Molly's hands where rapidly and harshly bound with what seemed to be electrical cable , and Wlid's overpowered form was similarly dealt with ...

the two women dragged to a empty corner by four Swiper-Freaks who stood guard over them (( yes no one has searched them )) ...

The rest of the Freaks under Shad00ws fiery stare returned to breaking up the Medi-Ports .....

..from their corner the ladies could see the form of power suit clad hero , clearly wounded laying in a pool of blood ...beside on of the Medi-Ports .. and three hospital staff in green scrubs tied up by the lift doors ...

to the left of the lifts a hole was opening as a fuming green liquid eat away the armour plated floor....

just strolled over to Chum island , the one Floaty mentioned , in fact not found any mobs on the island ...has plenty of space for people to sit stand etc .. has a tall pillar of rock for lurkers to lurk above upon ..

and you can by pass any baddies on the beach to get there ....

only issue is it is a long way (0.84 miles)from the ferry /heli access to Mercy ..but any higher char should have a travel power by then , and is near base portal

only other "easy" option would be some where on the coast of Mercy then any low level can swim there to avoid problems ...infact the area below fort dawin ..kalindas place id mob few ..but does have a mish door there...

i do agree any meeting place needs to be easy access for low lvl toons ... because CoV zone movement is not as easy as CoH .... GG is close to both the train , base portal and the police drones if you do get chased ....Mercy seems to lack such a suitable spot that is not filled with players ....the location needs to work for all lvls of char of the RP will not flow ...lots of the funs stuff at GG is the new chars that turn up ..

Shad00w eyes of flame never left Molly's cloaked form , fast as she sped he turned to face her , the metal mask forming a grin of pure malice , and then Molly felt a very cold gun muzzle in the small of her back ....Shad00w ..spoke "drop it girl or Spookie there will show you what a real gun can do ."...even as he spoke Shad00w started to surround himself it a cloud of dark matter , which Molly could feel as pin sharp teeth eating at her flesh ....

The tumbling egg burst dropping a shower of small black seed like objects over Wild , each seed seem to spilt and grow into a tentacle , the swarm surrounding Wild and latching on to her body with a grip powered by Shad00ws dark magic ..braking from hyped speed to a stand still Wild felt her teeth rattle as the declaration shock raged across her body.... four , cyber-claw armed Freaks fell upon her trapped form .....

Molly's shot brought a instant reply .. the crowd of Freaks parted as a massive Tank-Freak moved in, ....

his face was a grim mask of metal , and from the eye holes came blood red flames , which Molly and Wild noticed look worryingly like the demon fires Ed's eyes burned with.. ...

the torso armour glowed with runes of power cut into it , but it was the fists that Molly focused on as they came together and sent a massive blast of Dark energy at her ,...

at the same time the tube that would be a grenade launcher on a standard Tank Freak moved and spat a black egg at Wild ....From the cold iron face came a command to the other Freaks ...” waste them NOW !”

And the room became filled with ballistic hate aimed at the two women .....

The harried hospital receptionist pointed Ed towards a blue flak-suit clad PPD officer , who was speaking rapidly into his radio ...

Molly and Wilds opening moves where meet with three Juicer-Freaks dropping Ball lighting upon them ,as a larger number of hurled spinning sawblades , SMG bursts and the shock waves from the Hammer-Freaks Hammer Claps hit them ....Yet over all the sound a clear demanding voice commanded ..”Stop !..no one shoot ..just grab them ..we want that port cab ..”

Standing in the entrance door way Tim could see the staff rushing to their stations as the alarm blasted out its warning , he could also see heavy metal doors sealing parts of the hospital .....and can hear the sound of incoming PPD cars ..

Psyhic is looking for a store cupboard to change in and working out which route will take her to the Medi -Ports .....

Ed is drawing odd stares as he tries to fold his wings so the rush hour train doors can close and the thing start moving....

And Molly and Wild are peering out , Wild from the floor ,of a Medi-Port looking at the wrong end of as large number of Freak held , guns , blades , claws , hammer , electro -prods and ...well best not to ask ....

well you picked galaxy to rest up in .. thats is not the place you would have tp to from the freak base , mind you Kata would now be on a different floor well away from where any action might start ... so she could just turn over and hide under the bedclothes ...

Shad00w was her direct boss .. she had enhanced him with techno-magical part .. she had carried out the work ..but the raw components , and some of the clever integration of the magic was not hers ..someone else had supplied them.. Shad00w's Boss .. a unnamed Freak ..only Shad00w talked to this Boss via a private comms unit built into Shad00w ....

as to what was going on here , Slashshade told of Shad00w's great luck .. he had raided a government warehouse down Inde-Port way hearing that a shipment of military small arms was being held there ...and as well as the guns he found and stole some created redundant computer parts....
.. and on one of the old hard drives where City Hall utilities plans ..from the rebuilding /war wall period ...and these plans showed the reuse of old data cabling for the , then ,new Medi-Port system.. as a short term measure to get the system up and running , the use of the cables was to be phased out over a few years .. BUT the cable where still in place .... a back -door a way into the system ....

The raid on Autoscribe Techs office block ..was to destroy the only other copies of the data cabling plans .. to protect the secret ...

.... the project Slashshade was working on here is nothing to do with the data on the Heroes who use the system .. that is just a bonus ..being able to see which Heroes are out of action .. and learning about their mutations .. no the great work here is to copy the Medi-Port system for Freakdom........through the hatchway beyond the control desks is the test Teleport .....
thats where the three Tank-Freaks went when they where defeated ....


Shad00w , he left last night to stage a major fight is Galaxy City so that he and a bunch of Freaks could get shot up enough to use the Cities Medi-Ports .... Slashshade had make them faked ID's that will fool the system .. and the Freaks only need to take minor wounds to trigger the Teleports.....
Once teleported in to the Galaxy City Hospital Medi-Port room .. Shad00w plans to steal all the teleport equipment to set up the Freaks own system .. it seem certain parts are hard to acquire...

The strain final told and Slashshades brain shut down .. sleep of a kind was the body's medicine of choice....

As she returned to the awake side of reality it was very clear Slashshade was in a great deal of pain .. the metal arms that Ed has ripped off had positive feed back into her flesh ... groans became screams as the full effect hit her . . . .. .

To Wilds shock instead of the internet she found a intranet . . . . belonging to the City ... the Citywide Medi-Status net(( ver 3.844.01)) .. . that watches Heroes in case they need a Medi-Teleport .....revelation steped in .. the data is the reports on Heroes across the city ..and the calls upon the Hospital Teleport Bays ....

Once to wounded had evacuated or patched ..Wild pondered on may be a longer cape ..or a first aid kit for next time ...

As Ed finished regen-ing , disarming the Meat Doc , and binding the said Slashshade and bothering Tim.....Molly , her leg now a lesser ache , had time to peer around , spotting one hatchway high up in the far right corner , accessible only via the circling walkway .. and a second hatchway on the far wall beyond the control desks...both hatches being locked closed .. from this side ....

Wild toured the twin banks of control desks , noting that the left hand ones where for power management .. and that the Freaks where stealing city power from somewhere ....
The right hand side as much stranger ,having a mix of bio monitors , GPS systems , lots of odd data streams , and a powerful number cruncher running .....

Molly and the remaining Sniper-Freak traded long range shots , each knowing the first to score a bullseye would win more than just a stuffed toy .... Molly emerging the victor by a margin of 3 to 1 ..with a wound to her left leg as a the prize ....

The blade of Nox downed another Gunner-freak , as Kata's energy torrent sent the fallen and the fresh Gunner-Freak crashing to the floor .. providing a simple thrust target for Nox to finish off...

Tim powers held the two Swiper-freaks for long enough , so that his little helper could cover then in assorted junk ..knocking and crushing them into unconsciousness...

Ed's mighty regenerative powers and his dogged spirit held him upright until Wilds photon snipe sent Slashshade spin to the ground in a heap of metal and flesh limbs .....

.....the noise in the room fell to a series of electric hums and human-ish groans ....

One Swiper-Freak seem to have fled the room , the three Tanks had long gone .. in teleport like flashes .. the rest of Freaks lay scattered in a wide range of states and poses .....some adding to the groans and hums.....

am i correct in thinking there is still now way to reset/change a char's titles ?

Molly's grenade rattled the Sniper Freak as his next shot was a good foot from Molly's head , the reply was much better taking out the Sniper-Freak .. Molly span around seeking a sight of the second Sniper........who now was trying to aim at Ed

Time and Tim matched and his healing field cut in .. Ed felt his wounds close and strength return ... and for Kata a teleport trip was no longer needed .. ...though she still seemed to have a few extra holes that were leaking ....

Nox's unseen blow downed a Gunner -Freak , but attracted the other three , who seemed to have considered Kata downed ...
Wilds slow charge and fast bolts dropped another of the Gunner-Freaks .. two left

Tim , staggered by the needle and bolts was forced a pace backward .. allowing him to seen two of the Swiper-Freaks , now phased back , running to aid Slashshade

Slashshade and Ed danced in midair , fists and blades cancelling each other out , Ed's greater melee skill was starting to win when the Meat Doc unleashed the dark power of her metal gloves ...(( siphon life)) , and Slashshade looked renewed , while Ed's eyesight seem blurred , as a dark mist covered his face . .. the fight switched to Slashshades advantage......

For the few second Ed felt the light upon him his eyes beheld dark wispy plumes rising from Slashshades metal clad hands .. the vision fading with the light .....

Tim cursed , a rude word passing his lips .. Wilds speed power had affected his time powers and his perseption has sped a few seconds ahead .. only now to return to the current point in time with a Sniper-Freaks bolt and Slashshades syringe bearing down on him ....

Molly final met a wall , which stopped her skid , but was now fully tangled in cables from the journey ... Again one of the Sniper Freak aimed and fired upon her..

The other Sniper now picked out Tim and send bolts of electric death at him ..... also Tim realized the three Swiper Freaks where due to step out of his vortex ...but they seemed to have moved out of his sight.....

From the floor Wild could see her help had just given Ed the advantage to be able to down the final Tank-Freaks .. and so far none had got up ..however Ed now looked very much the worst any living person had a right to look , while still be upright ...and the fourth Swiper-Freak had a clear shot at Ed's back .. the cyber-blade struck downwards three feet of cutting steel and nothing to stop it ....

..as Kata rebalanced her fighting stance from the Wild empowered swing she heard four clips .. as the four Freaks, that had been with the Meat Doc Slashshade at the control panels , now all finished selecting full auto on their assault rifles , and together four fingers squeezed triggers sending four full bursts of jacketed 5.56mm at Kata ...

meanwhile Slashshade had flicked a switch on a belt mounted device , and taken control of her flight , activating a pair of inbuilt rocket boots .. and from a dainty full spin roll she hover 15 feet above the floor and from a wrist mount launched a syringe at Tim((Poison dart Dot toxic -reg ))

Wild eyes blinked as the three Tank-Freaks vanished .. in a short burst of brilliant white light .. ..like some sort of teleport .......
