Hey Y'all
I 'thought' that there was an SG beacon for The Hive at some point in the past. My husband was on another server we've branched out to & went there to get the 'porter for our base. He got the 2 'original' badges for the zone, which should have awarded the beacon iirc, and then went to get the rest of the new ones that were added in I19 but still no beacon.
So my question is: Was there ever a beacon to The Hive or did I just mis-remember/dream it? I kinda remember a conversation about how the beacon for Eden was close enough to The Hive so you didn't need The Hive beacon w/ another SG Leader a loooooooooooooooong time ago ... but I have slept alot since then
. Any help is greatly appreciated

I'm glad Y'all have gotten them! I tried to personalize them as much as I could. Cavern & I already know what we're doing for all Y'all next year . Yes, it will have a knitted 'something' as the card.
Sooner - I charted yours freehand, while driving from the yarn shop.
GA - That is as close to gold I have in my stash ... everything else was in a yarn gague waaaaaaaaaaaaay too big. I'm glad it's by your other stockings *big cheesy grin*.
Zek & Hulkers - both of yours are using the same snowflake design I charted after I charted Sooners, all freehand & in the car lol. They came out completely different (Zek yours is done in 'Fair Isle' using 2 colors & Hulkers is done in one color by changing up the knit & purl stitches.
Wolfie - I hope you like the design on yours. You'll be able to 'hunt' them all year long now.
Everyone else - I tried to match colors/patterns to personalities as best I could, mostly I just went w/ what looked good/was fun/interesting to knit.
...now I am wondering if the Candy Cane that Cav stuffed in them made it & in what condition it was in (whole or bits) when it got there lol...

Well, real life being what it is ... I've been staring at addressed & stamped ready-to-mail envelopes for the past 3 days (very thankful now as I can correct Sooner's addy). They are going out today - by hook or by crook - or me 'going postal' on whatever event wants to try & stop me from doing so . No card matches each other - all are original & I tried to match your personalities as best as I could, in color & design. I hope all Y'all like them .

Ok - the international one's are sent! Please let me know if you get them & what condition they are in ... yes, there is hard candy inside - that's why I'm asking.
The rest will be sent out to(looks up at clock on wall...eeeeeep!!!)day - later this afternoon ( I need some sleep & to finish off the knitting on around 13-ish of them) - hard candy is included in all cards a la Cavern ('Can't have what you knitted empty now can we') ... although we want to know the condition it arrives to you in please - just for curiosity's sake.

As soon as I'm done with this project I have a doll's summer dress to make (changing a Barbie pattern to fit a 10"doll, which is an antique, and doesn't have the trademark 'curves')...fingerless gloves to finish (4/5 done on one glove have the entire other one to make)...the sweater I started in spring to wear this winter (2/7 done - the back & yolk section are finished - 1/2 way through the front w/ sleeves & neckline to go)...plus various other projects percolating in my head *SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH* -
Back when I had my 6800 OC I used this driver: 195.62 & it was working just fine ... this was back in May - july this year. I'm using a 5950 Ultra right now & have no access to the 'visual goodies' anymore
as the other board fried due to heat - we think a fan died & we didn't know

I'm having this same problem. When my husband exited out of the game this morning (around 7:30-ish CST), it re-launched the pre-I19 download for the 4th time. It got almost done with the download (again) and then it stopped - never made it to the end of the download. Any ideas as to why it isn't taking? We've never had this problem before.

Welcome to the game
If you are on a team or just general (either zone or on a GC [Global Channel]) chat and someone uses terms you do not know - just ask. 9 times out of 10 you will get helpful answers ... the other one ... well, they exist anywhere. That normally means someone I won't team with again if they are that obnoxious/rude.
I regularly use wiki, badge-hunter.com (has information and locations on all badges in-game), and one of the GC's for my home server when I have any questions. There are other sites that have info about the game lore, missions, contacts ... but the 2 I listed are the biggest & IMHO [In My Humble/Honest Opinion] best.
I hope this helps. Remember - there is no such thing as a stupid/silly/bad/wrong question ... the answers however - ermmmmmmm ... that's up fpr debate .

Chapter 4 (part2)
Sybill walked slowly down the stairs looking over the clipping that Pearl sent her. 'Hmmmmm. Dark auburn hair, pale skin... this is going to be interesting.' She halted at the check-in desk and put the clipping away in her day-planner. "Is Amber here yet?" she asked while leaning over the ledge to rummage through her inbox, much to the displeasure of the receptionist.
"She's in the waiting room ... Waiting." The receptionist looked pointedly at her then the waiting area and rolled her eyes back to her work.
"Thanks Luv." and blew her a kiss while tucking the messages into her planner. She walked towards Mori and, while hugging and hearding her towards the stairs, started gushing "Why Amber!Long time no see sweetie!I see you kept that old rag I made for you.How sweet!However you really HAVE to do something about those HORRID Sophia Lauren sunglasses, they do NOTHING for your MARVY eyes dearrie.Now come right this way and I'll show you what we're going to do to you.You'll absolutely LOVE the clothes I was able to scrounge off some of our designer clients.They were just THRILLED for you to be wearing them on your trip and hope that you'll be ordering more from them of course." Here she caught her breath and looked over Mori as they walked down the hall towards her workroom. "Well, AP sent me the right information on you. You can take off the scarf & glasses now. No one is allowed up here today. You're safe from prying eyes and ears."
Mori was speechless. She had never heard anyone talk for so long without breathing before. She meekly took off the scarf and sunglasses exposing her amber locks and hazel eyes. "You made this scarf? Pearl said you'd recgonize it, but not that you made it. It's beautiful." She held up the silk scarf to admire the handpainted sceen.
"Yeah, I made it years ago while we were in high school. At the time I thought I was going to be a top designer. Making my own fabrics and then making the clothes from them." Sybill heaved a dreamy sigh. "Now look at me. Instead of designing clothes I design the person. Kinda ironic." She gently steered Mori towards the pedistal which had 3 mirrors which formed the back wall.and 2 edges. "Now to make you over so even your lover wouldn't recgonize you." Running her hands in Mori's hair, "I think to start with ... blond with reddish tints ... and trimmed to just below the shoulders that way you have length, but not your 'normal' one ... and I think bangs ... maybe ...we'll see ... the glasses are necessary?" Mori nodded. "Well ... that has to change. Contacts." Here she reached for her phone and hit a speed dial number. "HI Dahling! Could you do me a HUGE favor? I have a client whose here on a tight schedule that needs contacts. I have her glasses & can send them to you." Here she mouthed 'Are they current?' to Mori, who nodded. "You can?!?! Great! I'll have Sue bring them to you A.S.A.P. and she should have them by this evening? 6-ish? Great! That's perfect. Yeah, she's here all day so they can be sent here. I owe you dinner at the Green Room for this sweetie. Thanks Luv. Caio!"
"Now that that is settled, let's see about getting you started on the rest of your day." Sybill pushed a button on the phone and said "Come in." She turned back to Mori and smiled. "Amber, these ladies will be taking care of you for the time being. I have to go get your wardrobe selections and that will take a few hours. Don't worry, you'll be busy the entire time I'm gone. Now you take care of Amber here. This is her first time for these treatments ... so kid gloves." She gently pushed Mori down the hall, towards a different set of stairs.
"What treatments?!?!?!?!? I thought it was a new hairstyle and clothes." Mori was flanked by the two assistants, being gently dragged away from Sybill. She turned her head and tried to stop being led away.
"Why dearrie ... you're signed up for the full works. AP wanted me to make certain you were ... how'd she say it? Plucked, buffed and bronzed." She winked slyly at 'Amber' "Don't worry dearrie. These ladies are the cream of the crop. Just not a Brazil for Amber as it is her frist time." Mori's eyes widened as comprehension dawned and she let herself be led away, moving like in a stupor between the specialists. Sybill laughed softly as she watched a horrified woman being lead away.

MI - I have Le Femme Onyx (33 Stone/Stone tank) parked in the tunnels. I went through my alts & she didn't have this yet. The others that don't are my PB & WS ... & I don't think the added possibility of cysts showing up would be a good thing. Let me know if you'd rather have: Emp/Ele def, Grav/Rad 'troller, FF/Rad def, ill/Storm 'troller, the PB or WS. All are at least level 22 - save the WS, she's 17. Just leave a message here or PM me in game
