Worst 'Where's Waldo?' Ever.
If I am a winner, I permit NC Interactive, Inc. and NCsoft Europe Limited to use my name, likeness, photograph, hometown, and any comments that I may make about myself or this contest that I provide for advertising and promotional activities. I also certify that I am at least 13 years of age and am eligible to participate in this contest. -
perhaps the OP has one of the accolades (or set bonuses or Mayhem/safe guard power) that boosts the maximum endurance, since recovery rate is also a function of that.
100%/60s = 1.67 eps (base for toons with 100 max end)
105%/60s = 1.75 eps (base for toons with 105 max end)
1.75eps * 105% = 1.84eps -
Aside from the advice people have already stated (always going to class is huge), I would also suggest actively participating in class. If you have a question, ask it. If you don't feel comfortable talking in front of a lot of strangers, corner the prof. after class. The fact is, if the person asigning the grades knows who you are and knows that you've expended some effort trying to learn the material, you are more likely to get a better grade.
Also, in engineering especially, keep your grade point average above 3.2 - D may stand for diploma, but it also stands for unemployeD. With a 3.2 you can probably get a free ride to grad school (the rule of thumb being: if you have to pay for engineering grad school, you shouldn't be in engineering grad school) or get you a job without experience (assuming you're going into the traditional fields - (i.e. not computer/software engineering - because co-ops and interns in traditional engineering fields rarely do any actual engineering work anyway). Still, co-oping and interning can help get you a job at the places you co-op or intern at.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, you will get screwed by the school. Just accept it. It doesn't matter where you go or what you study, the school will a) sell more parking permits than there are parking spaces, b) neglect to tell you that XYZ 120 is a required class to graduate in your major, c) lose some important form that you turned in, etc. When things like that happen, just remember that your goal is a degree, and that 1 (or 3) more semester(s) extra because of someone else's mistake is small potatoes compared to the rest of your (hopefully) long life. 4-6 years out of 90, which should make the remaining 65 more comfortable.
And just think, when you're out of school, you'll have all weekends to play the game.
EDIT: BTW, UT Austin is an awesome engineering school. Easily in the top 10 in the nation (probably top 5, to be honest). -
So, how about TF/SF minimum level requirements; are they sticking around?
I have to say, the posibility of earning experience for running content below your level will probably result in more of the low-level TFs being run, especially since they tend to have lower minimum team-size requirements. -

I didn't file a support ticket because...
I suspect this all happened because I started both CoH and CoH Test at the same time (accidentally). Before the splash screens appeared, I quit both instances of the game from the menu bar (note: I did NOT use force quit). I figured this was the source of all the trouble - that I had interrupted the 'natural' process. -
Okay, I did what BasicSwardGuy did and got things moving.
To answer CuppaManga's question, the .tgz file was set to open with Archive Utility. -
Okay BasicSwardGuy, I'll give that a try when I get home.
If you don't hear from me again, it means that it worked.
(and, oh yeah, I'm running the latest patch of OSX 10.5, which I guess is 10.5.7) -
I am having a problem with the CoH updater. I'm not sure how I got to this point, but the updater keeps downloading "cider_COHD_Updater_002591.tgz"
It says it is a 12.0M file. When the download progress reaches 12.0M, the updater quits, automatically restarts, and starts downloading the same file over again, repeating the whole ordeal.
I tried deleting all CoH files and prefs, and reinstalling from the downloadable client, but the same behavior occurs.
Any suggestions? -
Ah, AoE's, I didn't think of that.
So, are there any other ways of not being able to be "affected" ? Any that last indefinitely? -
So, won't this contest boil down to which ill/ troller takes the longest to get kicked after going afk?
Is this supposed to be like those contests where a bunch of people have a hand on a car, and the winner (of the car) is the last person to take his/her hand off of the car?
This contest could last for days. Just join a TF, turn on hibernate, then hope your internet connection doesn't fail. Throw in scheduled server maintainence and we have a recipe for some unhappy people. Alternately, another player can't cause you to loose your stealth status, so anyone with stealth proc + stealth + SS should be just stealthy enough to go unnoticed by GMs, assuming paragon wiki is correct about perception values.
