If Grandville level 1 is newbie friedly, I hope there is a statue of Ghost Widow or somebody to stand under...
-
Hmmm, we need a few more heroes and we can start our first storyline.
-
RC will tag along, he is curious what Americans do when they relax..
-
Feel free to join us, we hang around the Galaxy Girl statue at 9PM with the other kinky spanex wearers.
Uh, I meant heroes. -
For RC, The Government finally employed him to train the new generation of normal Special Forces when they discovered they could improves ties with the American's by sending many employed or unemployed USSR/Eastern European heroes to help Paragon and America as well as other parts of the World recover from the Rikti Invasion.
Also, the SG is getting along quite well. Most of us our Russian, but we have a few Romanians, an Albanian and somebody from Afghanistan (should be interesting that one)
We're still looking for people to join.
Send me a mail ingame or a PM in the forums. You will get reply and some questions answered. -
He is an interesting character. I take it he'll be revamped facial wise when I7 hits?
-
The WEE Super Group based on heroes of pre and post Cold War Russia. We encourage all types from soldiers to bold bitter defectors to join.
We do some light RP and just have fun. -
Dobreye ultra comrades, I have come to inform you of the creation of yet another light Roleplaying group, The EEW.
If you ever have wanted to play that Cold War relic of a hero or a younger generation go getter from the former block, now is the chance. We are a mix of the young and the new and our base of operations (Granted at the moment it is just a single room) is operational for work or relaxation.
If you wish to join, PM me in the forums, send me a mail in the game or simply bring your hero to me at the Galaxy Girl Statue at 9PM GMT.
Please note we only focus on Politics as a nostalgia sort of thing. -
If you are into Magic and Myth, try the Cirque.
-
RC hangs around at the Galaxy Girl statue 9PM GMT and onwards. Once we get a few members I'll post the official thread on the Union board.
We'd need to sort out who does what first though.
EDIT: The base is up. -
Right, I've decided on Workers of Eastern Europe, I just formed the group. I've made it so young cold war relics and hip new heroes of Eastern Europe can both join.
RC usually hangs around the Galaxy Girl statue at 9PM GMT and onwards, pop by and see him if you wish to join. -
Soyuz Nerushimiy Respublik Svobodnykh (SNRS), Crimson Guard or Peoples Guardians?
-
I still like my idea of using the first line of the Anthem better...
-
It's pretty hard though. Anyone got any other suggestions?
I was considering MIR at one point, since a MIR means community. -
It can be shortened, and the anthem is pretty much obsolete.
-
How about Soyuz Nerushimiy Respublik Svobodnykh?
Translated, It means Unbreakable Union of Freeborn Republics, the first line of the old USSR Anthem. -
Maybe you guys should have brought a Cop, Red Indian, Cowboy, Biker and Sailor with you and perform Matcho Man for us.
-
I just need a good name for it...
-
I'm not much of a good guy managing a Super Group, maybe some of us can form a Soviet and run the group instead.
Though it won't be Military much, I'll be using Red Army ranks. The group will accept the workers, farmers and others too. -
Huzzah. People replied.
I do like the idea of focusing more on Russian and Eastern European culture, and if there is anything slightly to do with politics I'll make sure it stays away from the Stalinist era and the whole 'we will bury you thing'.
For most part, Politics would be either a theme and image or something for the older heroes to remember back on.
And yes, Heroes who hated the system can join. It would be very interesting to see what a Polish Super Hero from that period would think.
There are bound to be some Cold Warriors clashes, but meh..., most Cold Warriors are codgers anyway and would just sulk now. -
And the Carpark behind the statue. Or the steps. Or the Hero Corp Building roof.
-
Just a suggestion, you guys need to work out some Imperial Guard things, especially when the new costume options become avaliable.
