this is just celebrate myself post,
well, I was not at pains to PVP in this game before, actually I have only 2 years vets, even I joined since 2004, cuz there were some other games out there and attracted me :P , so I decide to get a 400 ton this return, I was planning on my main PvP toon-> elec/therm corr,
but the incarnate system changed the world! she can solo all melee toons before...then I lvled my psy/em blaster(thanks for double xp weekend!), and get her some decent IO sets,
and run some trials for incarnate powers, accolates (btw the Geas of the Kind Ones is not working on redside! that sux!), so she made 0->400 in 1 week even I am not PvP that much(i got 17 50s and new power sets come out...so..u know that).I'd say psy/em blaster is just...hmm...er...way too easy! -
pretty hard to decide /fire or /psy, I got a 50 TM/fire but not IO'd yet, wonder if /psy is better for defender, i have no pvp defender before, any advice?
btw, it's worth to make a /regen and IO'd even I have a 50 /regen scrapper IO'd? -
I know it's kinda noob question, but what is "DR"?
-
Quote:that means my regen scrapper and invul/ tank doesnt need at least 41 points?Well, obviously if you're one of the powersets that has built-in KB protection you won't need any (Elec Armor is the exception here - it offers KB protection but not KB resistance, and only while on the ground, so you'll want to add Acro + a bunch on top of Grounded). If you're a ranged AT or a Spider you'll need to build for KB protection. Acro will give you 9 points base (enhanced up to 11 but generally not worth it) and you'll want to put in some Karmas and Steadfasts to get yourself to at least 41 points and preferably 45-47 points. 41 will stop anything short of Force Bolt or other high-mag KB powers if they're weirdly slotted but I don't know that anything will get through 47 points.

as title, how much knock back protection should I have for all archetype?

thanks for advice.

I just came back for 1 month, still trying to figure out the right way at pvp.
All I have the PvP toons r elec/therm corr and BS/regen scrapper,
my elec/therm end drain seems not good anymore cuz the incarnate power,
so I start to build a Psi/eng blaster.
my BS/regen is so squishy without phase, there was no phase on a scrapper a couple
years ago, oh my BS/regen is not that uber, I think that's why he's so squishy.
so here is my questions, if someone could help...
1)should I keep my elec/therm? she still needs some purple/pvp IOs, and I was planning
to farm for her.
2)BS/regen has chance in fight club? or should I reroll katana/regen?
3)I never see a good stone melee brute, why was that? I got a stone/WP brute, and
planning put some IOs, is it worth? or reroll a invul/SS or shield/SS tank or brute? -
Quote:If you dont work for NCsoft, just ignore this thread. you did not answer my questions. You were given a response.
You just didn't like it.
No it means that they aren't working on weekends. They don't need to keep people on staff 24/7 to keep an eye on the online store. If it crashes over the weekend work can get started on it the following week.
Automated responses are there to handle minor or routine issues that don't require human interaction to let you know they are aware of the problem.
Sending 6 petitions means you don't know how to act like a mature adult and follow up on a petition like you are supposed to do. All you did was create 6 documents that probably got closed automatically because you failed to escalate any of them up to the next level of customer service.
CS operators only run interference for other departments so they don't have to deal with morons. That way they can focus on getting their work done rather than stopping every 30 seconds to listen to some twit venting his spleen about not getting immediate satisfaction.
I dont need someone explan how does NCsoft afterservice work. Thanks you. -

Quote:Consumers dont need sympathy, they need anwsers, available or not, just respond,I sent 6 times that means the afterservice is no good, and I think 3 days is plenty of time to fix it. and I bet there r not too many petitions that let operators cant handle. The online store goes down from time to time. Just be patient and try again later. It will go thru when it's fixed. Sending 6 petitions isn't going to get it fixed any faster and only makes you look like an impatient <censored>. No one has sympathy for people that act like that,

I've tried to prepurchase going rogue form official website for 3 days,
but after all steps, It always says "We're sorry, but we are unable to accept your order at this time. Please try again later or tomorrow. If you continue to have problems, you may wish to visit one of our retail partners."
I sent 6 times petitions and no respond, does Going Rogue prepurchase still availble? or not? anyone have same problem?
*I had tried VISA and Mastercard, even paypal. not working.
