Thoroughly enjoying this thread. I have played this game since the beginning and have made two blasters total (one was a viking with dual pistols which made me laugh for some reason) so I have zero vested interest in the outcome of this simulation.
I think THB's work has value as it is uncovering details about the leveling progression for both AT's that could be looked into with data mining of logs. The anecdotal comments made by THB are quite valuable and provide insight.
Does it have value for answering the question whether one levels slower than another? No, inferring a distribution off a single point measurement (which the leveling time for a level is or the total leveling time) and then comparing that distribution to another distribution inferred from a single point will not yield a significant answer unless the distributions were vastly different. I wouldn't expect the signal, i.e. the difference in leveling times, to be that large. Just my opinion, as stated, I don't play blasters so I defer to the intuition of the blaster community.
Please keep sharing your results, I am learning a lot.

For the past 7+ years, I played mainly scrappers and ... scrappers but, sometimes, when I am looking for something new, I'll play a ranged scrapper like spines/ or KM. I have tried expanding my boundaries and have leveled a tank to 50 (WP/DB, very scrapper-y) Stretching myself, I know.
Anyway, I have the same issues with the corrs as @Dinah_Might. Just not feeling it while playing, or rather, not much playing, a lot of traveling to and from hospitals. Nothing wrong with the AT, it's my fault (Enthalpic Earwhig, it's not you, it's because of me we can't go on playing together. EE is my highest known corrupter as a L33 Fire/Cold) Now, I have taken a defender to 50 (Storm/Psy) and my most favorite non-melee guy to play right now is a Dark/Rad defender that likes to jump into groups and scrap, so I can take a non-melee the distance but I just can't make it happen with corrs.
I have read Silas' guides, very helpful if I could just get myself to go back and play one of my poor foundering corrupters. Now that my scrappers can make giant fireballs appear themselves, corrs are facing an even more uphill battle for playing time. Don't tell EE.

My first character was a Kat/regen scrapper, born 2 weeks after launch. Back then, City Of Blasters was the rage and scrappers were 'teh gimp' but I never felt that way. Don't get me wrong, a pre-L28 regen scrapper was squishy at best with FH and Reconstruction/Dull pain as your armor. On top of that, my first attempt at playing the game was with a video card that wasn't up to snuff and my first costume choice color combo was, er, unfortunate at best.
When I hit L28 and attained god status, I can't say I have had more fun in the game. Soloing Adamastor was my high point. I quickly rolled a claws/sr scrapper because this combo was 'teh gimp' of the scrapper set ... and it was but with some tweaks along the issues improving the combo's performance and some tweaks removing the /regen performance, I can say that my claws/sr is one of my favorite scrappers. I have scrapper 50's using most of the armor sets (/electric is the last one needed) and they are all different but just as fun.
Scrappers are the AT I spend 95% of my time in game on. In game, nothing is more restful than attaining scrapperlock and mowing through a map then the next.
All /regen scrappers, pour a bit of your drink on the ground in honor of our long lost homey, toggle IH.
Also, Scrapper forum is the best forum of all, no ifs, ands or buts.
Have Fun.
ps I feel remiss not giving a shout out to my l50 WP/DB tank, the closest thing to a scrapper that isn't a scrapper -
My Namesake, Puma Pete, was my first character and first 50. Kat/Regen scrapper. He was made a week after COH released, had a strange career trajectory. Started out gimped (regen didn't do much back then prior to level 28 and instant healing), hit l28 and enjoyed his godhood status, then, in a cruel twist of fate, had his godhood toggle taken away from him and has since settled into mediocrity. Plans are afoot to revive him back to his destined godhood status.

Yep, known bug. I can get around the issue by using the ESC key, i.e. I hit the ESC key and the queued auto-command fires. Works on my /SR characters.
I have only noticed the issues in city zones, not on missions so ymmv.

On Tuesday of this week, Afro Blade, WP/DB tank dinged 50 with his killing stroke on Hro'gen Daaz (whatever the main bad Rikti's name is in the RWZ arcs) Couldn't have planned it better.
Save the earth, ding 50. -
Regen had to survive 28 levels using Fast Healing, Dull Pain and Reconstruction. No Heal in integration. Of course, it made getting to IH that much sweeter. Still bitter about the IH conversion to a click.
