3. Mrs Hill's first costume

Mrs Hill: Illusion Control/Force Field Controller, level 42, will have Stone Mastery Ancillary.

I have not delved deeply into her backstory, I wrote her short backstory after level 20 to match her powersets. Thusly, she uses light to attack and defend her foes.

But here's the thing. I have a second account that I'm rolling a Stone/Fire tank called Mr Hill. For reasons beyond my comprehension, Mr Hill is sticking to the outfit I created for Mr Hill 1.5 years ago (he was a AR/Dev blaster, deleted ), that being a cowboy. Cowboy hat, Vandyke beard, open jacket, rolled sleeves, dress shirt, blue levis, and brownish boots.

I can't seem to find an outfit for Mrs Hill that matches Mr Hill, while still keeping most of Mrs Hill's features, the cowboy hat and flaming eyes looks funky to me. And I can't find the right colors if I give her a plaid skirt. Oh sure, I can give her an identical outfit to Mr Hill, ... but I don't want to.

*blithering idiot* help me */blithering idiot*

I repsectfully request matching/complimentary outfits for a cowboy tank and his cowgirl companion
4. Thank you Path and Samantha, your guidance has helped Kei and I become more powerful than we could have possible imagined. Dwarf, Mire, Human, Mire, Nova, wipeout, Stygian, AGAIN!
5. COLOR NAMES

Near as I can tell, the named colors follow the HTML naming scheme. www.w3schools.com has a color chart with their names and HEX equivalents.

<bg khaki>

DURATION

Chat bubbles also support the <duration seconds> aspect.

PLAGIARISM

This is the most recent chat bubble color guide I can find on these boards. I'll be borrowing a lot of the wording from the OP in the article I'm making on www.paragonwiki.com.
6. *sautès the onion*

No, AFK messages are standard, small grey box with black text.

Oh, and the YOURCOLOR can be color names, like blue, red, navy, purple, lightgrey, etc. Or they can follow the HTML HEX colors, #FF0000 is red. And if you add another set of HEX characters, you can get transparency. #FFFF00AA is about half transparent yellow.

Oh, and the sliders are at the bottom of the Graphics and Audio tab. No transparency there.

A quick note on binds: If you’re going to switch between the forms in battle, you’re not going to want to go hunting for your powers. I recommend you place all your Dark Nova powers in tray 3, your Black Dwarf powers in tray 4, and use trays 1 and 2 for your human powers. You can then use binds to shift your form and your active power trays at the same time. Example:

/bind NUMPAD2 “powexec_toggle_on Dark Nova$$goto_tray 3”
/bind NUMPAD3 “powexec_toggle_on Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 4”
/bind NUMPAD1 “powexec_toggle_off Dark Nova$$powexec_toggle_off Black Dwarf$$powexec_name Gravity Shield$$goto_tray 1”

[/ QUOTE ]

First, thanks for the guide, and the original binds. My first(only) warshade used them extensively.

Second, here's my modified versions. H turns everything off and lshift+lbutton is Shadow Step. M turns off the forms, and after every press turns on another shield. N is nova, J is dwarf with lshift+lbutton as Black Dwarf Step

H "gototray 1$$powexectoggleoff Orbiting Death$$powexectoggleoff Penumbral Shield$$powexectoggleoff Twilight Shield$$powexectoggleoff Gravity Shield$$powexectoggleoff Dark Nova$$powexectoggleoff Black Dwarf$$bind lshift+lbutton powexecname Shadow Step"
J "gototray 9$$powexectoggleon Black Dwarf$$bind lshift+lbutton powexecname Black Dwarf Step"
M "gototray 1$$powexectoggleon Penumbral Shield$$powexectoggleon Twilight Shield$$powexectoggleon Gravity Shield$$powexectoggleon Shadow Cloak$$powexectoggleoff Black Dwarf$$powexectoggleoff Dark Nova$$bind lshift+lbutton powexecname Shadow Step"
N "gototray 8$$powexectoggleon Dark Nova$$bind lshift+lbutton nop"
9. I hate the search function. The default search options are piddly, and the results returned are massive. But it has saved me making a new thread, so I keep using it.
10. HAHA! Classic. Done that several times on new installs. I almost always tell windows to show all extensions. And when I forget, BAM, this happens.

Open a folder, Tools, Folder Options, View, Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"

happy binding.
11. [ QUOTE ]
I'm fairly certain the E:\keys part is your problem. All of your bind files should be in the City of Heroes\piggs\ directory. That's where the game looks for the bind files and trying to make it look elsewhere may be causing your problem. Since everything else looks good, I suspect you're going to need to move your text files. The bind would then be simply:

/bind 5 "powexec_slot 5$$local you opened what?!$$bind_load_file buildup1.txt"

And in the file buildup1.txt it would be:
5 "powexec_slot 5$$local BSOD time!$$bindloadfile buildup2.txt"

If you must make the source of the bind files something other than your City of Heroes/piggs/ directory, then you'll have to work out what you're doing wrong in the path commands you're giving. Good luck, either way.

[/ QUOTE ]

First, that was a poor assumption. Second, that is some REALLY useful information. I'll be sure to add it to the /bindloadfile article on ParagonWiki.
12. [ QUOTE ]
note the bind I use in game is /bind 5 "powexec_slot 5$$local you opened what?!$$e:\keys\buildup1.txt"

[/ QUOTE ]

Forgot the bindloadfile.
Here's what I would do:
Ingame type /bindloadfile e:\keys\buildup1.txt
Make sure the txt files look like this.

buildup1.txt
Code:

5 "powexecslot 5$$local BSOD time!$$bindloadfile e:\keys\buildup2.txt"

buildup2.txt
Code:

5 "powexecslot 5$$local you opened what?!$$bindloadfile e:\keys\buildup1.txt"

16. Your coloring scheme is fine. But having the color black cover 5 badges without closing a re-opening the color tag is making cut/paste/replace tricky. http://paragonwiki.com/index.php?title=Talk:Settitle is where I'm doing most of my work before moving it to the main article.

When I "convert" it to wikimarkup (shortcut for html) I'm making a table where each line has it's own color, and using <span> tags to color the second half of the dual color lines. I should make spreadsheet/database that generates the html/wikimarkup for me.

I'm off to install mysql and PHP again! AWAY!

17. Your method of coloring hurts my brain. I'm converting it to wikimarkup. See Paragonwiki article
18. Two commands you need (and maybe a third if you want to add chat, but I don't reccommend it.)

/powexec_name <power>
/costume_change <costume slot>

These can be shortened as powexecname and cc.

The costume slots start numbering at 0. So to switch to your first costume would be /cc 0. Second /cc 1, Third /cc 2, and Fourth /cc 3.

Power names are not case sensitive, but they are space sensitive. For a /regen Scrapper, Moment of Glory can be "moment oF gloRy" but not "momentof Glory".

/macro unst "powexecname Unstoppable$$cc 2"
or
/macro thing "powexecname Unstoppable$$cc 2$$emote can't touch this"
and
/macro normal "cc 0"
19. Supposedly the game interprets the bind in order. However since executing a power will unqueue the previous power, it seems as though it does the last thing first.

Your bind *should* work, I see no syntax errors.
20. Make sure you include where you're saying that. There's no such command as 'Teleporting'. Also, I do not believe powerexec works, I believe it's powexec.

/bind Z "say Teleporting to coordinates$$powexec_name Teleport"

or

/bind Z "emote Teleporting to coordinates$$powexec_name Teleport"
