Be magnificent! autonomous expert system it should be the perfect size to fit over the SG tech table.

I like power customization, I like the idea that you have stated the problem and also a thesis saying it can be done but with alot of work.
You stated before that Power Customization was up there with one of the top requests. You fulfilled supposedly our top 2, able to go back and redo content and new powersets which you still haven't fulfilled. Either I12 is going to have a huge bunch of unique powersets, or power customization.
Then i13 will have power customization, because you have had enough time to implement systems to satisfy the other "top" requests which I think are just inevitable setbacks to distract us from what we really want. You have the time and a possible solution, now it is TIME TO GET TO WORK. Because power customization will be the only thing that will keep me to COH.
(On note, do not say power customization is not the top most requested thing, why you say? Well gee look at all the explanations, the discussions, and time put into just stating the problem. I can only think of one thing and that is bugs, and crashes fixable with proper software and the handful of missions that should of been fixed or find a work around. It is time that we stop putting off the goal and start working on it.) -
The sewer system sprawled with the plant life fueled by the demonic druid, Rot. The lush green plant life one would expect was not here, but that of fungus, decaying feeding matter and disease. The mutations not only made the plants ugly and dangerous but also resislent to forms of energy gained through the extraction of chemicals in Crey's sewer lines.
Crey knew of the problem, and they were employing the best pesticides found on the planet agaisnt the plants, to bad the plants decided to absorb them and release them in a toxic matter harmful to carbon life forms not resistant to its effects.
"Bzzt... if they go any farther then they will reach the lower facilities!" The fire of flame and cyro blasts into the passge illuminated the faces of the Devouring Earth and that of Devoured minions. One by one the forces Crey employed at the last moment to keep the infection at bay fell. The last man crawled under the pressure door and sighed relief as he heard the carnage behind him.
"This will hold them, lets see them stand up to napalm."
BANG* The door dented and the men moved back surprised, BANG* the door started to give way. The claws pulled and tore the door off its hinges. The growl stunned the men for a few moments as the beast tore away more for a larger opening. Red lights and sirens of warning signaled the threat.
"Get the code out, call for help!" The man in lab rags hastily dialed numbers and cried with relief that the phone worked. "This is Caretaker Alan, give me connections to the Mistress, emergency!" The phone went to upbeat tune of some old 21st century band. The man cried hearing the banging and scratching of the door behind him.
"Alan, I only have a minute tell me what is so important?"
"They overran the facility, it came out of nowhere, it grew so quickly we thought we could handle it, I am the last man alive here Madame! Their claws and teeth!"
"What is there Alan, what is there?"
"The... the... gah!" The sound of blood spattering. The last gasp of breath lifted as a hand tore it from its former user.
"Who is this!?"
The voice chuckled, "Mistress Crey, I was surprised your facility was taken over so easily by my forces."
"Tell me who are you?"
"I understand its a side facility, but what you are working on here is forbidden by Arachnos, did you know that?"
"So you're with Arachnos! How much did they pay you? I can double it."
"You can't buy me Crey, I am not with Arachnos, goodbye." -
Rot climbed the tunnels leading to the service. It wasn't until he noticed the swaying plants and rocks, his presence made them inch away from him at every seconds chance. He heard their communications, simple and beyond that complex chatter of beware. Rot thought to himself, if they are communication perhaps they are part of a network.
He lashed out with his new synthetic gluttony. His taint spread through the small network within the caveran, he had to stop. He would surely loose himself if he spread any farther becoming one with the network not its master.
"Your old master has left you. I am your new caretaker, your forge, your visage. This... Hamidon has left you to hide and now I intend to make you strong again. Tell me your secrets."
History flooded through Rot, since the personality of Cry had left, he was not acquainted with the world nor his new servants. Rot learned their names, the Devouring Earth. They were but a small colony left from the once vast empire. The cure had been created for the Devoured, and later used as a weapon agaisnt Hamidon, destroying it and any surviving buds. With the Devoured gone the leadership and organization system had gone into chaos and the Devouring Earth became once again primitive plants. It seemed the oasis the druid had created below leached energy to them keeping them alive.
"The Devoured were strong creatures, how to create them?" Rot was then hit with information, and then felt a pain on his side. He went to grab his side when he felt a bulge. His body a cellular hive, he wanted to get rid of it shedding the imperfection. The pod broke off and fell to the ground. Rot went to pick it up, then heard the message.
"Make it grow, and feed it with the Earth walkers." Rot got on his knees and swirled his hands around the pod. It started to grow, Rot backed away realizing the unnatural speed of growth drained his strength and at the same time the Devouring Earth around him supplied him energy.
The pod was the size of a compact car and blocked the cave way oozing slime that became moss quickly.
"Landwalkers..." Rot saw the beams of sunlight and came out of the cave entrance. The beams of light were in fact fluorescent lights to a sewer entrance were a Crey crew was patching up holes just across the small hole were Rot peaked through.
"Lets get that patched behind us and we will be off for lunch. Just glad we are shutting down these tunnels, but I don't understand why we have to patch up holes."
"You never know what was here before the city was put over it, if you remember this used to be Devouring Earth central before the extinction."
"Well just glad they have their own dimension and they aren't here anymore." The crew was about to move when they heard the jingle of a bell.
"You here that?"
"Don't worry just get to that patch." Rot moved away from the cracked hole, his aura becoming visible. Animating vines erupted from his back and then shot through the small hole where the Crey scientist was peaking. The Crey engineer was instantly killed, the vine impaling his skull. The other screamed as the vines tore the scientist apart. He started to run screaming , running to the nearest checkpoint to raise the alarms, nearly 4 miles of labyrinth sewers.
He tripped feeling the clasp of the vine on his ankle. "Let go, I will give you whatever you want, I don't have a record agaisnt Arachnos! Wait I mean, I did sell evidence that one of your higher ups had dealings with us!" The vines went rigid and stopped.
"What's the information landwalker?" Rot stayed in the shadows, the vines moving back whipping to its source.
"Well, Black Scorpion has been funneling Arachnos funds into Arbiter Drone work arounds and jammers! Please let me go, I was near a promotion and I have children!?"
"So they are destroyable, if anyone is to get the connection that I was once that child then they might send those things back, good to know Crey has a working solution. Now onto..."
"Are you going to let me live? I promise to say nothing to anyone!"
"I plan to let you live yes." The vines grabbed the man and dragged him behind Rot to the cave entrance his screams echoing through the sewers.
The man was knocked out from fear and panic and awoke when Rot was letting the vines let go. He couldn't scream his vocal chords strained from yelling earlier. His body was paralyzed and Rot was smiling.
"Finding it hard to move, the vines have a natural nuero toxin it seems, and its corrosive to." The man looked down and saw that his suit was eaten through by acid and was quickly burning his flesh. "Now."
"Wait... wait..." The man's voice was weak as Rot dragged the last few feet to the transformation. The pod was moist and opened as Rot drew near. The man moaned as he was lifted inside, the pod closed slowly, the man's eyes lazily rolling into euphoria a part of the transformation into a Greater Devoured.
Rot lay in wait, in meditation feeling the transformation, absorbing the guidelines and brainwashing that went into creating a Devouring Earth. Then the pod split open and with it the cavern was in uproar of chatter as if some sort of missing connection was in place. Already Rot felt a connection through the creature and through it to all the Devouring Earth within the chamber. The link now strong, Rot could now clearly communicate.
The Greater Devoured waddled out still growing patches of flesh and drool sliming from its mouth extremities. The creature growled and Rot assumed his position as leader. You wish to grow us our empire? The growl translated in Rot's mind.
"You are but the first, your first task is to collect the landwalkers and turn them to our cause and transform them. Soon we shall walk on the Gift again."
The city above did not know the change, and did not feel the change, but already changes started to appear. Most noticeably in the parks.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"With the absence of Cry we are left extremely vulnerable to psychic wandering, and also attacks. It has been nearly four hours and we haven't even had contact with Ghost Widow, I think we have been doubled cross by outside forces." The group of Arbiters mingled at the table.
"I for one saw that Cry's actions were treacherous and that of his own selfish ambitions!"
"And what evidence do you have of that! The neural scans on those heroes that Cry presumably controlled saw tampering, and that was on a autopsy, there was a chance that Cry did not control those heroes."
"Well then explain his report when he left last week with the request for a Rover and a squad?"
"He had a hunch and by reports he was right, he encountered a rogue Sky Raider unit and did his best to eliminate the infection. As of know we are investigating the Sky Raiders and their attacks on Arachnos are now coming up to us."
"And then explain to us why he just wiped out an entire division of Arachnos, nearly 2 million psychic aware individuals! Explain that!"
"You fool, you don't see the evidence right now, Arbiter Drones are searching the globe for him and they can't even find a trace of his existence until hours ago. Those drones raided Ghost Widow's tower and she wasn't even there, and there was a sign of a struggle. What ever happened there it seems that Ghost Widow, Cry, and Arachnos was played like a puppet, its not like Cry to be manipulated, but there is evidence that he is still alive, his former servants, 2 undead heroes are still animated which means some link is still connected, so Lord Recluse's orders are still held firm, the Arbiter Drones are to remain on hunt till Cry is gone."
"Interesting report Heron, taking into consideration right now, until further evidence Cry is still considered a traitor. This meeting is adjourned, and Arbiter Heron what of Cry's captain Scarlet Eye?"
"I do not know why Cry would associate himself with those Chaos Elementals, give him my protection authority. But keep a eye on him."
"A Chaos Elemental?" The Arbiters were shuffling out of the room of mumbling and still the shock of friends and allies gone.
The eyes of Arbiter Heron connected with that of the other Arbiter and left, then the Arbiter could of sworn that he saw Cry Heron holding a blanket bundle, and soon he to noticed, he was holding a bundle, he looked down and saw his own face.
"Do not worry Arbiter's, I will always protect my first home, Arachnos. Make sure that you return the favor and that you protect me!" The face twisted to that of Cry's and the Arbiter screamed, and soon the place became darkness then light. He woke, a bad dream he thought until he heard another scream and that of another.
((occ: Didn't realize how long it was, but I wanted to point out that though Cry is Rot, Rot is not Cry, Rot does know he was once Cry but doesn't know what Cry did since Cry is a collective of demons and the strongest assumes control.
Also the whole connection with the Arbiters, eventually a conspiracy that Arachnos had been given false information and the growing weakness of the psychic division gives way to a power struggle among the Triumvirate of the Lieutenants leading to the Rebellion noticing Arachnos' sudden weakness and the readiness to strike, then to war, something this RP needs a central plotline.)) -
The rush of water, the breath of life, the purity of innocence had yet to be tainted. The oasis in the desolate war-torn world stood untouched holding in its womb a being of the planet. Orchids, rare flowers, and plants spotted the chamber constantly replenished by the trickle of pure water from the belly of springs.
"Your in danger..." The whispers could only be heard by those who spoke their language, her delicate beauty awoke frightened, she had yet to taste that of war.
"Run, run!" She scrambled turning toward the cave system, she heard a chuckle.
"Its presence is here!" Flowers popped back into their buds, then a shadow rose from the waters, behind it the liquids boiled and the grass died. Her bright green eyes flashed as her hands went to the ground where a staff formed in her hands.
"If you dare touch me you will feel the very wraith of my kind!" Green energy started to radiate around the woman, her veins pulsed with the Earth's energies.
"You talk to us? We are the entirety of corruption and manipulation o daughter of Gaea. We need a body of purity to make sure our connection is strong."
The Druid took her staff and stabbed it in the ground a wave of green aura called the plants into action. "Such a threat like you, its unimaginable how such a thing like you came into this Earth, what has happened above since I slept!?"
"I will gladly give you your answer to your final words, the world that you remember is gone, and that a being like me was born out of its hate." The shadow came from the ground and twisted around the Druid sucking the green energies out of her.
The vortex swirled the room causing a local earthquake from the internal energies being exchanged. The Druid fought the transformation as the spirits tried to envelop her. Blasts of green and white crept from the tornado of shadows until at last the vortex subsided.
The body cracked and gills hissed out a poisonous gas. At first the voice was a gurgle but a monotone voice that seemed to be amplified by a hollow tree trunk boomed from the creature. "Alive at last, a living person we are, I feel the Earth flow through me, what a feeling it is." The jingle of its movements, indicated its many bells on its body. Flowers and grass died around its feet, thin speckles of black light trailed to the feet of the Dark Druid flowing into it.
"What shall I call myself now, I cannot speak of my other names, something simple." The glowing red eyes of the dark blue skinned man looked up to the now dead surrounding rotting corpses of the oasis that once stood, the water now a murky grime and the vegetation quickly loosing life. The man smiled the tattooed symbols on his face swirling, "Rot." -
I would so play this! I like the arc nice story.
-
Cry heard the sounds of music, playful music. "If you get in my way I will...!" The mirage in front of him tore apart as Cry funneled psychic energy around him. The tear stood their for a moment and then returned to the land of dreams Cry was in. Cry tried again the entire scene tearing and being torn apart only to repair.
"Someone is being a party crasher, come on just relax your in our world now Cry, our world." Cry was frantic the essence of this dream was unbearable the music, it hurt. Cry's form started to waver the music growing wilder and louder, faster! A hiss and a Cry as slush came off Cry, his form was falling apart.
"Such a trap is it not, I didn't expect you Cry to be so stupid." Ghost Widow came down the stairs, Cry transfixed on her movements. "I maybe weak, your action destroyed what I nurtured! But now your are the weaker, your weakness my strength." Ghost Widow was standing toe to toe with Cry.
"I am stronger then you, I am always stronger then anyone here!"
"The crap that comes out of your mouth sickens me Cry, shut up!" Ghost Widow took her hand and stabbed it into the side of Cry, strangely the area she stuck was glowing. "In this land all nightmares of my enemy are true, and your weakness is my strength." The form of Cry, collapsed, covering the hand of Ghost Widow in tar and sludge of the manifestation of Cry.
"I knew what you were you demon, without your form your nothing but this." Ghost Widow held in front of her eye an elaborate bloody ruby in the form of a tear. "Nothing but a voice, and no one to manipulate, now that your in my hands. And with your power, Arachnos can become strong again."
((occ: I couldn't come up with the greatest end for Cry, but he isn't entirely dead, just back in the form he originally was before vodoo crap. I plan to bring back Cry in some form or another, but mainly just as an "echo." I used Ghost Widow, sorry Dogma for using her but I think you wanted the end of Cry no matter what.
Working on a new character concept who will be mainly technology, and I will provide a piece of digital art a friend of mine wanted to do. I will be back once I get my charcter concept together with a right fitting into the roleplay. Hopefully Cry's absence of a god mod power will put this RP back on track.
Another thought, wouldn't it be nice just to superficially end this RP with an actual story leading up to the revolt of the hiding heroes and the possibility of Arachnos falling apart. I mean it would give incentive, we already have a good amount of action going on right now to lead up to a climax.)) -
((perhaps we need dogma to wield Castle's almighty nerfbat!))
-
((occ: I like your negotiation skills dogma, very charismatic, perhaps we did go on our own power trips and forgot about the purpose of the RP in itself, apologies. RP felt more and more like a dragonball z storyline. As for negotiations stake, I want to kill off Cry, I have twisted him far too much from his original purpose he needs a scrap, end climatically please.))
-
((occ: geez Entropy, way to go overboard on things I never said, there aren't any Arbiter Drones at Ghost Widow's tower, except the ones that my heroes eat everyday by day basis in Faultline. Thanks for summing up your own argument with a blatant fact, I will remember that I am "not invincible" I will remember that it took me simply 2 days of in RP to recover from a single blow from Energon-X, that I was casted out of reality from your spell, that I was simply just denied my rank within Arachnos, and that simply you are trying to ignore back stories by other characters to justify your moderating.
I don't get the fact where your simpleton argument starts and ends, are you disregarding made up facts in that area where I am RPing, or are you just simply trying to foretell within the next 10 posts what Dogma or some other is going to RP that the "updated" drones are heading to my location?
I have not stated that Cry is invincible, only through his voice and own self pride does HE BELIEVE THAT HE IS INVINCIBLE! O wow, you seem to forget that fact.)) -
So naive, they just don't understand it now, not a single psychic barrier is up, their thoughts just blowing in the wind. Arbiter Drones Class V.2914, destruction drones. Slow things, useless things agaisnt me, there is a defense agaisnt them, I feel quite omnipotent in my own dimension, I bend the rules here, I am god in here. Rings of mysticism and energy floated in the small scale universe.
Stars and galaxies lay wait in the dimension of abstract potential and endless possibilities. One of the rings of magic opened, its gate that of Mercy Island, Cry stepped through his new form a towering six and a half feet of shadows. The ground cindered under the gravitating power that now expelled from him.
The tower of Ghost Widow was only a hundred yards away, but in his path was a death squad of Bane Spiders and lowly ranking Arachnos. Before they could react, the ground trembled and the division of Cry's own death squads formed from the air. "What the..." The Arachnos soldier was whacked and slid into the air, his body clearly crushed by the new found Sand Warriors. Cry simply walked through the destruction to the tower, the door creaked and then slammed to its side the psychic energy tearing it apart.
"I have a heart to break, where is that !@#$%, her soul needs a reaping for what she has done to me!" -
Cry laughed and giggled, then gazed into the screen a glare of a thousand eyes peering into the future.
"I did not hope for mercy, but forgiveness my lord. I wish that I was more of your hand then a pet like your patrons have become, perhaps these mystics can't see it, but taint your own order with what you see, I will not interfere with Arachnos no longer as it does not interfere with me."
"I do not know how to say this my lord, but your soul will be a prime delicacy for many to feed on in the near future if all is to expire as fortune's and gambits of jokers play out."
Cry laughed as the bubble melted, a form walked out of the shadows. Pure darkness it had become, the discernible features were only its eyes and the horns on its head. "This organization has little to hold me or kill me, if Lord Recluse were so ignorant to forget who devolved the mystical and psychic barriers that kept firm this organization from mental and extra-astral attacks he would of stroke up a deal with its creator to figure out who he tried to keep out."
"You stones, you less then worthless things, you mindless blocks, all of you lack the intelligence to see the fine threads that are holding all of you together and you just cut of those threads, and that factor is fear." The form burst into darkness leaving its final message, alarms went off within Arachnos' Fortress.
Cry was no longer part of anything of Arachnos, his secondary goal now a primary. Scarlet Eye would happily obliged to this sort of character, Cry felt a weight lifted his barriers that protected Arachnos for so long gone and the first 5 star psychic who noticed the weakness would have Arachnos at their knees begging for a new type potential to come forward.
"Scarlet Eye we have business to do with other organizations, we have our own security to think about now and that means making our shares with new found allies. Perhaps you've heard of the Carnival of Shadows, I have a few masks of mine I want back." -
Cry was brandishing the symbols of a mystical language onto the chests of several unique Sand Warriors. These would be the officers and also the holders of the four remaining spirit warriors that kept the entire army of sand alive. Their lives were now tied to him.
"Daddy will be mad, but these warriors are a great alternative to my former alliance. They are excellent psychics and assassins, and better yet shape shifters." Cry wavered from the dimension and reappeared inside the base near a operation tower.
He floated in, everyone in the room jumped not expecting him. "You have been called into a meeting Lt. Cry." One of the Mu operatives called out.
"Bring them up to screen then." A chair wipped out of one of the terminals shoving out a Bane Spider who grunted. Cry hovered down into the chair as a screen came down showing the face of Lord Recluse.
"My father, my actions were out of security for Arachnos and myself. Your former servant tried to grab control of my division and defy your orders for her to retire. Nonetheless she is tainted anyway, I feel it." -
((occ: As RPd Recluse has won over Europe from the last of the Rebellion. Along with it Mako with the help of Black Scorpion created new assassin drones which largely helped Recluse win. Recluse is sorta injured by a final fight, but not enough to keep him from day to day activities, that injury will come forth sometime later.
If Paragon is in ruins from Arachnos and its tiers then as well as an assumption if the highest concentration of the worlds strongest super human heroes are disabled and into hiding then world wide conquest was not far behind with little resistance.)) -
Cry didn't find himself at a disadvantage, he only needed his shield to stay intact, for his physical mass was incomplete shedding the energies of Energon-X. "Should I do this? This organization has no way to high-tail it out of this one!" Cry reared up to protest his statement made long ago by Lord Recluse and Arbiter Daos.
"You're such a block, a worthless stone Ghost Widow! What you have done is an act agaisnt Arachnos! You have turned my ranks agaisnt me, agaisnt Arachnos! You are not of Arachnos anymore your position was denied and replaced with someone more ambitious then you. If it must come down to this then let it be, it is time to purge the conspirators from my ranks, from the ranks of Arachnos!"
Cry looked over to Scarlet Eye, smiling. "You have my orders to wipe every Fortuna or any under my command not bearing the mark of their curse I made for them."
The safeguards were activating, not in anyway unnoticed, Cry loved to meet his faction one by one, and in a way each safeguard was different then the last. Through useless psychic channels and high wire connections was Cry open to every mind insuring that his faction wouldn't turn on him. They could do nothing, for in the first place they agreed to it when they took on the mantle of Arachnos.
__________________________________________________ __
The wave of the command swept the world a silent push, a weak command but its power to sway was instantaneous. "By Code: 041 of the Arachnos Regulations and Standards, you by default chose this sentence of Execution without trial, overriding the Arbiter command insuring safety of Arachnos and its future." Wave upon wave of Night Widows, Fortunas, and others fell their minds erased.
"There are only a handful under my command now Ghost Widow. Give me a weeks time and I will see it that every loss within my faction is replaced by someone loyal to Arachnos, not its former royalties." Cry relaxed and shifted from the world to assimilate thousands of souls and minds to his matrix. Leaving Scarlet Eye to deal with Ghost Widow.
__________________________________________________ ___
This one was going to be hard for Cry to explain. But as always he had a plan. Cry blew off the attacks from Ghost Widow like a charm, her attacks were useless agaisnt him. Though the way Scarlet Eye unintentionally interfered was another annoyance to Cry. Now the minds and souls were one with Cry, their power in wait for some future conflict.
Cry flicked his wrist and a mound of sand form, whisperings of words and then a shaped form. "Of the sand, silent as the wind, my new soldiers of Arachnos, Laterre Warriors of the Italian Monks. Your internal souls have come at last call forth your legions and aid me and I shall renew your contract."
These monks dealt with Cry when he was just a simple demon. In fact there were actually the people who created Cry in the first place, their ideology creating the rules that governed Cry. Soon more sand started to pour and Cry released souls into the sand, breathing life into it. Soon outside the Fortress would Cry once again become tangible with the world and bring back legions that many would fear.

Ruby and Blue Starlet brought up their Tactic abilities and before they could counterstrike they heard thuds as many fell over dead except a few which seemed to be unaffected by it. "He did it, lucky for us."
"We could of died here, anyway, released from his curse."
"He would just do another ritual to make us live another death and we would be under his command once again Ruby." Blue channeled his Chi into a blast to knock down a Night Widow. "Well he just wiped out a good part of Arachnos' psychic division how is he going to explain this to Daos?"
"He will, but didn't you see it was wide spread mutiny. This has happened before in a larger scale in when Warburg had its nuclear missile crisis. Arachnos recovered nicely, and actually benefited from that purge." -
The rocks blew apart twisting around the bubble that protected Cry, beads of energy connected them as they twisted. "I can do little to resist your attacks my old lady." The whirlpool of energy grasped the souls and they became one with it. Cry could only chuckle. "That is why I will absorb them, there is little you can do, though perhaps I haven't tried this, quite an interesting idea."
Ghost Widow, is a ghost, a soul a manifestation of a spirit. "Ghost Widow you have never met someone with the same abilities as yourself, until now. Before I scatter your soul Ghost Widow, there is a reason why my organization fears me." The air shifted and a inward shift on the ethereal plane started to suck toward Cry.
"Your retreat is always welcome Ghost Widow, there are few that can fight me when I'm on the defensive." If Ghost Widow was fully aware, she would of noticed that her body was starting to disappear to the growing mass of Cry.
__________________________________________________ ___
Ruby and Blue Starlet both stood to attention. They didn't feel any sort of pressure their Chi fields up. "You all know once Cry activates the safe-guards you are all as good as Arachnos fish bait, Arbiters are even less forgiving to underlings like you." Suddenly a glowing snakehead of plasma appeared and started to ring around the shoulders of Ruby.
She struck out her hand and the ribbons of the dragon trailed her arm length to her hands. A ball of plasma erupted hit a Night Widow square in the head. Blue Starlit erupted into a glowing blue light the air humming with his radiance. "Bring it!" -
Sinister giggles crossed the infant's mind. Then layers upon layers of giggles filled the infinite domain Cry was within. "How can you silence me, when you cannot even live without serving it!" Cry laughed, don't cross me that I didn't expect it, of course I expected it, though in due course I will call you the Calamity.
"Your threats are worthless to me Ghost Widow, you do not even carry the intelligence or knowledge on how to strike me down. Even now I go stronger, every waking moment that I age in this world."
__________________________________________________ __
"Do you feel that? You think Cry is watching us?" Blue Starlet asked Ruby both leaning on the wall the meteor within Ghost Widow's former chamber.
"That or Cry is spreading his psychic network, remember that feeling before the invasion on Paragon. It feels about the same but he defiantly has improved his power and tactics." Ruby sighed her Chi network blocking out all psychic and mental barrages except the one link that kept her alive.
"He is planning something, like the rising sun we are only seeing the first light of his work."
"Perhaps this time the sun will set."
"He won't find anybody useful here, Mercy Island is a dead zone, psychics are dieing and regulars are just walking in a stupor and daze, Grandville is totally sealed off. Thats it."
"What?"
"Why didn't I think of it before? Cry strives to manipulate and know, he sets these little blocks into place and then collapses them on purpose to build a larger bridge. Cry is leaching off this thing and it probably doesn't even know it!" -
Cry looked aside within his bubble, the mass within now fully in motion, furious, his transformation nearly complete. The meteor knew Cry was prying, well hope that the meteor did.
"My cousin, brother, relative, welcome to this dimension."
"Fate has been so cruel as to ablige your shell as that body. You may live forever my brother, but I am the manipulator, the defier, the cruel, you shall endure since that is your creation, but which there is now law on how you endure."
"You dare wake she who is dead, and you shall make her live another death, perhaps you forget her purpose left this world long ago." -
[ QUOTE ]
((Uh... how does Cry know that Scarlet Eye 'eats' psychic energy? I don't think Cry's ever seen the Eye eat, and it's not exactly something the elemental advertises, particularly not to potential meals.
Also, Scarlet Eye was talking out loud to Cry, not mind-to-mind. If it was telepathy, I would have noted it as such (and it would have been in italics).
Also, ironically, Cry being weak makes him a less desireable target for Scarlet Eye- it means he doesn't have as much psionic energy for the Eye to 'eat', making him a poor meal.))
[/ QUOTE ]
((Wow you took a good amount of words into assumptions. Assumption as is, that all living things need energy. Cry threw out a suggestion that the monster can be eaten, though I did say a psionic monstrosity, doesn't necessarily imply that Scarlet would feed on psychic energy. Cry did say to speak in "mind scape" mean to speak telepathically, Cry finds it annoying the way Scarlet speaks.
Cry just noted his weakness in his body, not his mind!)) -
The ball sent a shudder of light that vibrated the room. "I knew what his powers could do to his enemies, but I had no idea what they could do to my body.. the frequencies.." Cry noted a change in Scarlet Eye, a slight change none the less but subtle of course he had eaten.
The Fortuna left and Cry blanketed the room with a blackout for all sorts of communications, even psychic. The rock crumbled and Cry was seen within his bubble of protection shadows ripping and twisting, Cry's own body consuming them trying to fit them back in place.
"The way you talk is annoying, try to keep communications fluent if you must talk to me by mind scape. But as you see I am in the process of shedding the part of my body that is infected and is going quite well." Cry wanted to test Scarlet's loyalty, in this time of weakness he was sure enough a target for him.
"But rather two things came up while you were gone, simply put forth several events that favor us and not the heroes." Cry beamed Scarlet Eye memories and wandering thoughts of heroes, all of which came from the Bastion. "If you didn't know the hero rebellion is stronger then Arachnos assumes, and these bring physical, I mean psychic evidence that there is a presence lurking in Paragon that dares to usurp our hold."
The rock reformed around Cry concealing him. "You Scarlet Eye, also have a hand in my affairs, you will be apart me as much as you see fit." Scarlet Eye would see Cry's eyebrow rise if not in the rock shell. "As much as I hate to say it, I will just require you as an aid and bodyguard. You teaching me is out of the question, I have found my own ways of learning."
"As of late, a psychic monstrosity has come back to this world. I would allow you to feed on it, but you would find its energy tainted and useless in your hands, it requires something else then assimilation Scarlet. Take the memories and try to piece them together so that a location might be suited, and use these contacts I give you to settle yourself in Arachnos, my captain."
