I am also really looking forward to the poison revamp in I21. I Tried out poison not knowing it wasn't considered very good and fell in love with the -Resistance debuff it has(because of its potency and short cooldown). I tried out storms -Resistance debuff(freezing rain) and it just didn't feel the same.

Thanks for info. That is neat how you can cast it on pets other then your demons.
  3. Yeah I really like the way Mercs look and feel, and of how the proc effects work so well with them(or so I'm told).
  4. Ah Master Zaprobo, Thats the guide I read for a big chunk of the info I gave you. Credits to him.
  5. That would certainly help with the fact that a lot of enemies have lethal resist.
  6. Oh yeah I remember that conversation. I still havn't picked what MM I want to be my main yet lol.
  7. 1) Relationships of different enhancements: procs, recharge, and endurance reduction, with MM pets?

1a) Recharge: Doesn't work on the pets abilities, and I honestly cannot remember but I don't think you can even slot recharge in pet powers at all.

1b) Endurance reduction reduces the cast cost and the cost of pet abilities. I've heard it usually isn't a problem except on select pets like the tier 2 thugs because of the leadership skills.

1c) I'm fairly certain the way procs work(through asking others) is that pet abilities have certain flags and not all abilities on the same pet has the same flag. I only recently found this info on a guide on this forum who I can't for the life of me remember the name of the guy. But basicly lets take tier 1 robots, they can accept knockback enhancements, but only 1 ability of theres has knockbacks, the proc for +dmg thus only triggers off that one ability AND the other enhancements from a knockback set even with relvent stats WILL ONLY EFFECT the ability with the proper flag. That last part was from the guide I was completly oblivous of this till I read it.

    2) How about the incarnate powers in relate to pets? (the aforementioned types and others)

I know very little of incarnate powers. I do however know that a large amount of them effect your pets. I even saw a video of the proc dmg from one of the incarnate passive proc powers trigger on someones pets attacks.

    3) Set bonus and pets?

Set bonuses have no effect on pets.

There are however a couple IO's with unique benefits for pets, there are 2 seperate 5% defense auras(centered on you) and 2 10% resistance auras (centered on you) but 2 of those are only available to Necro(Soul extraction), Thugs(Gang war), Demon(i can't remeber which ability :\), or anyone with /Storm(tornado). The reasoning is its in a set category called "Recharge intensive pets" and normal pets aren't in this category and no dark miasma's pet isn't either. There is also a chance for build up on attacks proc that only effects the pet it is socketed in, there are a few others I believe also.
  8. I see. Thanks for the information.
  9. Hey all I've been doing some MM research and I found out that if you put enhancements with proc effects into your henchmen they gain the proc on the relevant abilities they have. Specifically I was looking at Mercs all of the tier 1 henchmen abilities(not the medic the other 2) have defense debuff.

A lot of people say a major problem with Mercs is that lethal resistance is very common, but there is a defense debuff proc called achilles' heel which can lower resist by 20%. I saw that it said "Effects do not stack from the same caster" or something similar, but what about from different henchmen? Like if soldier (A) procs then soldier (B) procs is the enemy now at -40% resist?

If anyone knows for certain I would greatly appreciate this information. I would do testing of my own but these enhancements are fairly expensive for a new player to just go and get.
